However maybe you could help me out on this one.... One lady said and I quote "you're like a nickle you keep comming back!" Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

I will post pictures of the costumes at a later time.....

So I signed up to sell Scentsy! I love it! Paula did a show for me and she got 2 half price items and $26.00 in free stuff. April is doing the next show next week. I love this stuff... My husband likes it to. He will change the Scent almost every three days. And the one in my bathroom..it's my favorite. If you want to have a party to get the product for free or half price just let me know. If you want to know more about it or see what Scentsy is just go to www.scentsy.com/tammapratt

A Trip To The Cabin

So we went up to the cabin for the weekend so Glen could help with the work weekend. We invited Shawn and Nikki to go with us. They came up on Saturday and brought dinner with them. We always love when Nikki makes Spaghetti. She makes the sauce from scratch and if I were to make it, Good old Prego would have to do...The kids had lots of fun licking their elbows.

Shawn and Nikki brought Oscar with them. All the kids loved
to play with Oscar. Livvy would follow the dog all over the cabin.
Cj found a sock and had a tug of war with Oscar... The sock Lost!!!

We all went home on Sunday. It was a good weekend!!

However while we were there Livvy and Kayla were sick and throwing up. We thought it would pass... well it ended up that CJ, Betsey, myself, Shawn, Nikki and my Dad all got sick, with the same stuff Sunday and Monday!

A New Blog!!!

So I haven't blogged in a while.... Sorry.... Here is and update.... We closed on our house Aug 6th and moved in that night. Okay we moved the beds in. Today is the 27th and I still have boxes in my living room and bedroom but Glen did clear the entry way!!!!!

The boys started school on Aug 18th Anthony is in the 3rd Grade and CJ starts 1st grade. Here is a picture of them on their first day....

Betsey had to wait so that they could do the Kindergarten testing. She started the 25th and surprise she started all day kindergarten. Yeah she loves it. She goes with the boys and eats breakfast then she gets to eat school lunch and most important Daddy gets to pick her up at the end of the day!!! Here is a picture of her on her first day. Please notice the pants. Because it took her 2 days to decide which pair of new pants was more beautiful.

GRRRR I JUST WENT TO UPLOAD THE
PICTURES OF BETSEY AND I REALIZED THAT I DIDN'T HAVE THE MEMORY CARD IN MY CAMERA....NO PICTURES... MAYBE I WILL FAKE THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL PICTURES FOR BETS!

Yeah I finely got some pictures of Betsey it's not the first day But look how cute she can be when she lets me do her hair!

Well that leaves Kayla and Livvy home. So on Tuesday my branch manager and I were going over schedules and trying to figure out if we needed to find another part time teller. Well it ended up that I looked at what I was currently working. I have been working about 34-37 hours a week and I am supposed to be part time. Well since I am already working full time I made it official I am now scheduled full time and I am starting to earn full time benefits, which includes paid holidays and vacation time and sick days. So now when I need a day off I will get paid for it. Yeah... I figured I am working it anyway they may as well give me the benefits. So Full Time Head Vault Teller. Thanks to those who are going to watch the two little ones twice a week so that I can work! It will definitely help with the mortgage.

Unwelcomed Readers!

Due to unwelcomed readers I am thinking about going PRIVATE. I told my self that I would never do this because you would have to know the address or know a FRIEND who had a link to get here in order to see our Blog. Well someone gave the address to someone who is not Welcomed. So just a heads up we may be going private.... Just a thought!

What Do You Do In The Summertime?

Well it's finally getting to be warm, even hot, this summer. I have been picking up a few extra hours at work and yesterday I came in at about 11:30 and didn't go home until about 6:30pm. Well to my surprise, I walked out to my car to find this.......

Yep this was an unopened can of Diet Pepsi and there are now Pepsi spots on the roof of my car. I guess with the heat it blew up! So if you ever want to do a science experiment with your kids leave a can of pop in your car one Summer Day, but beware the clean up might not be so fun. Also use Diet Soda so it won't be sticky!

A Year With Livvy!

Wednesday, June 25, 2008

9 years!!!!

Well I guess it is time for a new blog... I could complain about what is going on with the house or the fact that I don't have anywhere to live starting on Monday.....but I don't want to that is all I talk about and to tell you the truth it just makes me sad.
So.... IT'S BEEN 9 YEARS TODAY!

Glen and I got married 9 years ago! So today he surprised me and came home from work early to take us out to breakfast.... yep me and all the kids. We went to IHOP. Let me tell you breakfast with 5 kids is quite fun I left with strawberry drink and and stawberry sauce all over me. Then I had been called into work so of course I went in early. I had my mom go buy some flowers from Costco and she dropped them off at the credit union where with help I arranged 24 red roses around 9 pink ones to take home to Glen. Then because the whole kitchen was packed up we took the kids to Sizzler for dinner. And to end the night I am on the internet trying to find a place to live. Oh What fun! I promise Glen when we get settled into our new house we will find a night to get away. Here's to year 10!

Tag Your It!

Marriage Tag!!
Paula tagged me. Oh what fun.... here goes:

How long have you been married? 9 years on the 25th of this month
How old is your spouse? 30
Who eats more? Depends on what it is.... food I cook he eats more if we go out I do
Who said I love you first? I did.
Who is taller? He is
Who sings better? Don't know he doesn't like to sing
Who is smarter? Is he reading this? I think I am but he can hold his own.
Who controls the T.V. remote? I do.
Whose temper is worse? MINE
Who does the Laundry? He does I jump in sometimes.
Who does the dishes? Mostly Him
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? If it's the right side when I'm in it on my back, it's me. If you are looking at the bed from the foot of it, it's Glen.
Who cooks dinner? I do at least 85% of the time. Then 14% of the time we go out and we have to stop doing that. And then if I have to work late Glen will cook and he is good at it!
Who is more stubborn? I am.
Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? Probably Glen.
Who has more friends? Maybe me, but he has all the people at work... are those friends by choice?
Who has more siblings? Glen!
Who wears the pants in the family? I do!

I am going to tag Kellie!

yeah someone should have warned me!!!! So we are trying to get all the stuff done for this offer on the house. My real estate agent might as well have moved in. I can't believe how much paper work there is to buying a house.

But then we got a call from our current land lord who told us that she found a buyer for our house and that no matter what we have to be out by the 30th of June. Well, throw that in with an 8 hour class that you have to go take which you also have to find a babysitter for because kids are not allowed, with family coming into town to stay at your house and they have already planned a party for the day of your 8 hour class. And we don't even know if we will get the loan program so this class could be a waste of our time. I am at work can't call anyone and all I can think of is what I have to get done, and can't do because I am at work. All of a sudden it gets really hot and I can't seem take a deep breath. So I leave work early to come home to a house full of Glen's family (who I didn't think were coming until later) and I walk into my house into my room and I am there for an hour before anyone besides my two year old non talking daughter knows that I am there. Can we all say PANIC ATTACK? That's what I am calling it. I slept for a couple of hours.

I was able to get up the next day, get the babysitter and make it to this class on time and in the right place, seeing as how we weren't sure where the class was or what time it started. $30.00 for the sitter and 8 hours later we are done with that class and off to entertain the family. The person bring the hot dogs and hamburgers didn't even show up until 8:30 and we were supposed to be eating at 7:00. Glen announces that we are expecting........... a mortgage payment! So now everyone wants to go see the new place. So we call the agent and he can't find his keys but says to go over and he will find them and meet us there. The whole family is outside in our soon to be yard at 9:30 at night and they are just not being quiet at all.... our future neighbors just love that I am sure. So then after we got done there we went home to a couple of people sleeping at our house and 5 kids to get ready for church on Sunday. Well I went to bed and got up Sunday to make breakfast for the guest and get them on their way so that after they leave we go back to bed and then to make pies all day instead of church. I know I am going to heck but at least I will have a house maybe.......we are now playing the waiting game.

SO WE MADE AN OFFER

Okay so we have this awesome real estate agent! Josh has been looking for a house for us since before he was a real estate agent. And he will take us to see houses all over the place and I have never been super happy with any of them. They all needed work done before we could move it however I am not afraid of work I just need to be able to live there and make the payment and do the fix up stuff. Well on Monday I got a text that said I found your house. So I went to see it. This is what I saw.....

okay it's cute from the out side right? Well the worst part has always been the inside. So I didn't want to judge the house from it's cover... Then I saw this..

This is the entry way in to the house!

This is the Living Room! My new couch will fit!!!!! Yeah because I really like my couch!

This is the kitchen... we may have to update the counters and cupboards but we could save up to do that!

This is the Master Bedroom.... Yeah I know what would I do with a fireplace? Maybe I will put a Mantel on it and hang the stockings in my room!
There are two more rooms for the kids a mud/laundry room. And there is a back patio with a garden area and a fenced in yard for the kids. One Bathroom... we would hopefully add on in a couple of years and add a master bath who knows... I am just really excited that about 1:00 pm today, May 15th I got the phone call that they had accepted our offer. So if we get the financing and everything together our 9th Anniversary present to each other is A HOUSE!
