Back In Session

We have had a few crazy weeks. This week has been pretty climactic with party, school starting, and my mom here for the week. In all the fun stuff to share, I wanted to quickly get 1st day of school pics up. Especially since these pics just make me want to smooker these kiddOs up!

Even Bailey is joining them in preschool one day a week this year! They stopped by for some pics on the way. How cute are they, love this one of Bailey... I think she was excited?!?

Had to try to remember to take single pics. Not sure why they turned out kind of funky in color.. ah, well.

Do you think there is a mother daughter resemblance?!? uh.. yes.
Lori was kind enough to take a pic of me and the kids, when the little ones I guess thought they just needed to follow suit. The other day at a store, one of the sales clerks referred to Sadie as "the little duckling" following the big kids around. They really are kind of like little ducklings aren't they?
I even managed to snap a couple walking in.

CMOM- The Big Hoorah!

Last week, we had quite a day out! I don't know if you've noticed, but we don't get out much! And if it weren't for our awesome zoo membership and horses at my parents, we really would be hermits! But we splurged and had a day to the Children's Museum of Memphis (CMOM) and lunch out with Grandma Sheila.
I, per usual, over-documented with pictures.
I loved listening to the kids tell daddy that night all their favorite parts. The plane was at the top of both of their lists, even though they were both too scared starting out to go into the pilots cabin.

Giving a pic of all three an honest go... oh Sadie.
The (less) mighty, (less) muddy Mississippi.

Love those three tight knit kiddOs.
 Making "slime".
I thought the replica Kroger was cute as could be, and was totally impressed with how "legit" they had done that place up! =) Bennett was almost as cute as his daddy doing the grocery shopping ;-).

Hannah was the only one who kind of got the whole "twister" concept. I liked her form.

TV stars. Man I don't know if Ryan and I are just really uptight people or something, but our bigs kids are so scared to "let loose". They were very timid and shy to get up on those stages... and you can forget about putting any of the costumes on or dancing.  Sadie was the only one not afraid to strut her stuff. Maybe she will help us all bust loose a little more. =)

Hopefully the only type of experience they will ever have with police cars...

I told her it was like she was on American Idol (or as she deems it, "the singin' show"). Maybe daddy can teach her some of his sweet guitar moves!

Bennett could not have cared less about dancing and singing on stage, he did however love the paper airplane shooter, and loved learning about changing a tire... looks like he's ready to change out the  ol' dented mommy-mobile tires if needed. No?
We had a great time and I'm so glad we did it, even if there is a high chance it will be another 5 years before we do it again!
