Adult Workshop “The Ideas Storage”

In this workshop we will share ideas, ours and yours, on how to trigger an increasing ecological attitude, how to bring it to our daily life and to our playing corners, while playing with our children at home, in the classroom or in other learning environments.
In this “storeroom”, the natural material made toys and the materials themselves will be the inspiration to many kinds of activities, games and creations; a moment to reflect on the materials that surround us and their impact on our environment.

Why and how to tell stories, what’s their importance and how to sprinkle them with enriching settings made of real and imaginative elements. How to recreate a cosy environment which allows inspirational and joyful moments...

We would like to reinforce the flexibility to adjust the conditions according to the space conditions, the group characteristics and your own interests. We are open to adapt schedules, costs and contents if the intention is to promote the workshop for a longer or shorter period of time.

We welcome your suggestions, so that we can give expression to your ideas.

Storyshowing sessions “Scary Face, Sweet Heart”

"Scary Face, Sweet Heart" was first presented during “Macau Fringe Festival 2007", through both school and public sessions at Macau Special Administrative Region, China.

It welcomes children from 7 years up in a space carefully prepared for a group of about 15. Settings and props are done with natural elements and materials and throughout the story the participants will be able to experience different sensations, as the rain, the wind and the smell of flowers in bloom, all together with live music, sound and light effects.

An environmentally awareness approach being applied into storytelling inspired by previous works of inspiring people. We propose a connection between the story, the teller, and the listener, where the story is not simply just “told”…instead, it is “shown” with the use of objects, actions and interactive moments that enrich and bring the story to life.
