My 40th Birthday Party
Christmas is done. 2018 is almost over. I'm a couple days away from my 40th birthday. It's time to bring this blog to a final close. It's been a great way to share with friends and family what we've been up to and how the kids have grown.
As my last blog post, I'll share my surprise party for my 40th that Derek put on for me. It was the best. How often do you get that many people that you love in one place together? He really outdid himself this time.
Christmas at Home
Christmas at home. We did our normal - Christmas Eve church, dinner at Bravo (Mimi joined us this year) and drive around to see lights. When the kids woke Christmas morning (at 545AM!), they found a lot of presents under the tree. And then they got a cute to check the basement for a couple last gifts.
Cooper Christmas
We hosted the Cooper family Christmas at our house this year. We are always spoiled and had a good day spending time with everyone.
Christmas in Hermann
We had a great trip to Hermann for Christmas. It was short but we made the most of our time with family. We got to attend the Stiers Christmas in Columbia on the way home as well.

End November/Beginning of December Update
A quick update. Brady got a doe hunting in Albany with Derek. We got Brady's football pictures - his team was undefeated in the league and a great group of kids. Brady got to run the ball some, play defense and quarterback. Brady also had his first basketball tournament and his team played in the championship at the College Basketball Experience where they lost by ONE! Tough loss but considering they lost to the same team by about 20 a couple days before, it wasn't so bad. We are full into wrestling season, basketball season, gymnastics season (Kam has three meets this winter!) and the holiday season. Derek also recently switched companies in his business and I switched jobs as well. It's been a little crazy around here but we are excited for the holidays and getting to spend time together and with family.

Weekend
This weekend consisted of crafting for Kam, gymnastics celebration celebrating the new gym, Brady having basketball practice and heading straight to shooting a deer with Dad, family dinner and Christmas decorating - it was a great weekend!

Weekend
It was a COLD one! Derek was gone hunting so Brady and I braved 2 football games in the freezing temps - both were wins! And that was the end of his football season - his team came out undefeated and league champs. They were fun to watch. Kam hung out with Mimi and continued to find ways to use every part of our house as her gym.
