A Visit to Los Angeles

My Dad was going to make beds for the boys but a metal square got caught in the saw and shot out.  My dad broke his thumb and needed 18 stitches.  

we spent a fun but cold day at the beach.

and even got to go to a celebrity baseball game at Dodger Stadium before the Allstar game. It was actually really fun.

 

Happy birthday Carter

Carter is 15!

For his birthday and Matt's Matt took us all to Top Golf.  Austin and his sweaty hands managed to throw two golf clubs onto the green.  Other than the loss of two clubs it was a fun time for all.

 

Torrian

We decided to join Matt on his trip up to Show Low and make a little vacation out of it.  After being there for 1 hour Carter stabbed himself in the leg and needed three stitches.

After we got the stitches out of the way we played some frisbee golf.  I went down a hill to get a frisbee and Matt came after me to ensure I didn't fall.  Then he fell and tumbled down the hill almost knocking me down too.  He ended up spraining his thumb.  It's been a rough start to the trip.

The next day we borrowed Jake's razor and the boys took it out for a spin.  They had a blast and both of the big boys got to drive.

The following day we borrowed Jakes kayaks and went for a kayak in the lake.  I can't believe the boys jumped in and swam.  It was way to cold for me.

At the Torrian event Matt's team celebrated his 50th birthday with some funny old man items.  He was a good sport.

 

Sedona

For Matt's birthday we took a trip up to Sedona.  Matt loves to take pictures and normally I like them too but for some reason this trip I had enough so he got this.

I did my first hike post back surgery.  It was tough but I did it!

 

Shenanigans

I love how much Matt makes me laugh.  His shenanigans around Sedona were so funny I had to share.

 

Suguaro Lake

We took the boys to Suguaro Lake.  I wanted to show them that there are fun water things to do in Arizona too.  We had paddle boards, kayaks, and lots of fun jumping rocks.  Such a fun day!
