Bracelets and Books

I used the silhouette of the boys for a few different things. I have one finished with a picture. It's a scrabble tile bracelet. I love the vintage look. Grays, browns, lace, all that together made this cute little keepsake.

This other photo is another book I finished. I made this one for myself. I had a old hard bound book from 1915 that I adored. It was in very bad shape and falling apart. With a little mod podge I glued it back together. I am going to continue to add photos of my boys on a few pages inside.

Wall hangings, jewelry

I just love the look of silhouettes. Especially of my own boys. I got these done just in time for Mother's Day. I am doing a couple things with them that I will try to post later. I got the backgrounds and tutorial on the silhouette from www.thecraftingchicks.com I made some changes as I always do and tadaa.

I used them!

I did 3 decorative displays for my pictures from my last post. I have a whole shed of barn wood right outside my house. I put it to good use.
This one I love. What a great way to mount a photo without having to find the perfect frame. I Mod Podged my photo to this old book. Added a few buttons and ribbons. I am thinking Mother's Day gifts with my boys pictures on them.
{All three are available for sale at the Bazaar in town.}

New Photos

I recently took these photos at my house. I was wanting something different to do for the bazaar. Hopefully I will get enough time to post what I do with them.

Good Intentions.

I have really done a horrible job at updating my blog in the last 9 months. I want to keep it up to date with al the fun things going on and all the fun things I have been making. If I only could upload pics from my phone.
Here I sit at wrestling practice with the boys with good intentions to stay up to date.

A little bit of life...

It has been 4 months since I posted?? No way. Where would I even start.
We have been enjoying the summer. Little bit of camping, jet skiing, racing, and just hanging out. Brad has been busy with work so we are always excited for the time we get to spend with him. The picture above is from Kason's kindergarten graduation! That was the cutest thing ever. He sang very well for all the songs about Zelda Zebra and Potatoes. It's no wonder they had him on the front row. Hopefully it wont be another 4 months.

Kason's Motorcycle

Two weeks ago we got Kason a motorcycle. He does an awesome job riding it. I have to keep reminding myself he is only 6. We have a little track by the house and he is passionate about going around and around without getting bored. He wanted to race this summer but I wasn't sure he would be ready to on a motorcycle. At this point I am as excited for him to as he is. Go Kase!
