Going Private

I've decided to make my blog private. I've seen and heard too many weird things on Oprah and from friends and family... :( I wish we lived in a time where we could trust the average "blog stalker" but I guess in this day and age it's just to risky. I would still like to have anyone who wants to look at my blog to e-mail me so I can add your name... :) I'd say in a couple days it will be private. Thanks to everyone! :)

New Bike Path

About a month ago I got this idea to add a bike path in our backyard... I thought it would be fairly easy to do since we could just follow the curbing around the grass (except around the sandbox). So last week we did it! It took us about a day to clear all the rocks away from the curbing, then another day for Bob and Kyle to form it up, and one more day to pour the cement. I want to thank Bob's brothers for coming and helping wheelbarrow all that cement to our backyard. :) We owe ya big time!! :)

Now that its finished it is so fun! The kids can go all the way around the yard now since we have sidewalk next to the house that goes back up to the gazebo! Bob was even out there the other day rollerblading! :)

I must say that I love our backyard... We built a gazebo a few years ago, which is a perfect place for Brooklyn's clubhouse. The gazebo keeps the rain off it and keeps it cool in the summer. Then, Russ and Michelle gave us their old swingset... so now my kids have a fun time swinging and sliding... then there is the sandbox... it entertains the kids A LOT. They have fun digging and playing out there. And now a bike path... since Brooklyn got a bike for her birthday and Kason will get one in a few weeks for his birthday, they will have lots of fun riding out there. And the best part for me is... the new screen door Bob built... it lets me listen to the kids and watch them without any bugs coming in my house! THANKS HONEY! :)

Aiden's Smiles

Aiden has looked right at you and smiled since the first week he was born. He is now 6 weeks old and look at these big smiles. :) Bob gets him to smile the very best. This morning he was talking to him and Aiden was smiling so big. (Don't mind Bob's phone... he was trying to get the smiles too).
I love his smile... it is so cute!
