More pics from my last day...

I know that this may be boring for some of you but I just wanted to post some more pictures from my last day at work April 15th. Some of the girls that day went with me to have lunch at Tasty's for a final time together. Of course it was tons of fun! Oh and YUMMY!

Oh and you may notice I got BANGS! Seriously. Ok a little background on me and my hair. At the age of 7 my hair was down to my butt, in 5th grade I got rid of my bangs, in 8th grade I chopped my hair to the "A-line style" and cried for days. I really looked horrible. From that day forward I grew my hair long and it's been long since 9th grade. I didn't start coloring or highlighting my hair until I was a freshman in college. So as you can see, I've never been very daring with my hair and it has pretty much been the same forever. Yeah I'd add layers every few years then take them away but the bangs weriously is the biggest thing to hit my hair for years now! So let me know what you think. They are long enough to pin back so sometimes I do. These pictures are the first day I had them so I'll get use to doing them and stuff.

Oh and for those of you who have asked, I am currently unemployed :) And very happy to be! It may change shortly so I'll keep you posted. If I work agian it will be from home.

Dr. Bruce and Steve Howard's Office...this is Julianne...

That's right, I am shooting this gun!

Coworkers: Melissa, Tori and Debbie

So the title of this post is something I have said what seems like a thousand times a day for the past 2 years and as of last Tuesday I will no longer be saying that! That's right I quit working at the dental office. Sorry it has taken me so long to post, I actually have a lot to post about but have just been busy. So first things first, a post dedicated to the best job I have ever had and saying goodbye to the girls I will miss so much! The week before my last day we had a scheduled "team retreat". For this we close the office and usually do something as a team, whether it be something fun or CPR certification, or whatever the Dr. wants; then we usually go to lunch. Well this was the funnest team retreat I had been to since I worked there. Dr. Howard is a big outdoors man, loves to hunt, fish, camp, anything. So he decided he wanted to take all of us girls to a shooting range. Most of the girls had never shot a gun, including me. So we headed up to Bountiful, above the "B" and got started. The only bad thing is that once we got up there it started snowing so we were FREEZING! Being girls, we didn't dress real apropriate but we stuck through it and learned to shoot. It was so fun! I was able to shoot 7 different guns, my favorite being 9 mm gun. It was the most powerful of the ones that he brought with him.
Me shooting another gun..yes it was freezing!
Coworker Nikki, she was freezing so she took Dr. Howard's jacket

After shooting we headed to lunch. The lunch was supposed to also be my "goodbye lunch" so we were going to go to Tepanyaki but it didn't open until 3:00. So instead we headed over to Braza Grill. It was good and tons of fun! That was the end of the day. It actually made me really sad to be leaving. Working at that office was such a blessing so many ways. We were ALWAYS laughing and always having fun. I made some of the best friends ever and will miss them so much!! Thanks to Dr. Howard for the wonderful job! And thanks to all you girls for for friendships, I hope we can keep in touch. I will miss our talks, stories, and laughs! I love you all!

The Wii!

Brack and I had not had the wonderful privilege of experiencing the Nintendo Wii until this past weekend. We were able to hang out with our good friends Roz and Drew. We had a delicious dinner at Famous Dave's restaurant, where Brack and Drew enjoyed some serious Devil's Spit BBQ sauce. Then we headed back the the Hill's home and made some wonderful malts. They were so YUMMY! I would recommend this as a weekend treat anytime!

Finally we enjoyed some serious Wii action. We started with a little bowling, then some tennis and the boys finished off with baseball. It was intense. It seriously is really fun and gives your arms a little workout. It's sad to admit but my arm was seriously sore the next day from tennis. I am not the best at the game but I had a ton of fun. Brack and Drew started in on some dance moves and got quite into it. It was tons of fun.

Thanks for having us over Roz and Drew! We loved hanging out with you guys and had TONS of fun! We need to do it again soon!
