Christmas is wonderful----I LOVE Christmas! Our Christmas this year however was just--crazy! It was free
zing cold one day and in the 60's/70's the next! One day it dropped 45 degrees in 2 1/2 hours. Crazy! Dave was hobblin' around on crutches and couldn't do alot of the things I usually count on him doing sooooo, either I did them as best I could or we just didn't do them at all this year. Danen/Michele, Dagen/Michelle/Crew, and Deren/Monica and the boys were all here for Christmas along with everyones dogs and even tho we missed Derek, Billee, Kylee/Rick and their 4 little ones we still had fun and did all the usual Boyd Christmas stuff. Kylee and Rick joined in on the "Dirty Santa" portion of the evening with the help of computer cameras, a little crazy but still fun and we talked to Derek in Hawaii while he opened presents! On Dec. 22, my mom fell off a vanity stool while reaching down to pick up a blouse and broke her hip! She had surgery on the 23rd, did great, and is now in rehab trying to do everything possible to get back to her apartment and life at Tallgrass. She's been such a trooper and the nurses all tell me she's their favorite patient! Dave is finally able to ditch the crutches and just walk in a walking cast so things are improving a bit for him too! Our new years resolution is NO MORE BROKEN BONES-----FOR ANYONE!!
