CNY Celebration

We had our CNY celebration at a local restraunt. Once they saw me set out the moon cakes and party favors they went all out with special CNY treats. We even recieved red envelopes and gave envelopes to the owners litle girls who sang for them in the traditional manner. New years music played and Bella was shown a video of New Years in China. My good friend Diane and her son drove all the way out to Clermont for the celebration. I didn't get many pictures as the B takes a lot of attention to keep her from destroying the place.

Happy New Year to All! The envelopes are ready for our party tomorrow. I went to the Asian market and brought special choclate gold coins, candies, mandarin oranges and dried plums. I have ordered special moon cakes without milk or egg that I will pick up tomorrow.  We are going out to eat  with friends and will visits the neighbor kids across the street to bring them little red envelopes.

Forever Family Day!

Today is our 2 year family day with our Isabella. So much has changed in 2 short years. Izzy has always been a daddy's girl but now she loves Mommy. If you are ever on the phone with me when I walk in the door you will hear Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! along with squeals. We have come a long way from her trying to scratch my eyes out and glaring at me. We can't imagine life without her. Her favorite things include: anything princess, her bubby, riding the school bus, and hats.
