::My interview @ Technopark::

Haha i screwed up my first attempt at securing the HR Assistant contract-based position at Technopark today!! =X was so stressed up can!! wasn't fully prepared for the interviews. Couldn't really give perfect answers to the HR director. Haiz..i guess i have to work harder next time round..it was an experience gained though! And i remembered how to draft a Memo quite well haha =p it was part of the interview and i was given pen and paper to draft out a memo on the spot. The task was a memo on employee's visit to children's home *smiles happily* =D

Heehee~! These are the photos yun and me took recently~! =D finally met up with her last week!

Today was a great day *_~ bao bao and i went shopping at TM and century sq. Finally bought my black heels for only $16 in preparation for office part time job. I also bought a small silver carry bag at the Metro Closing Sales. Totally cool~! The original price of the bag was $49.90. I only spent $19.96. Saved $30 lor~! Plus the strawberry pattern shoelaces from Yellow at $2.50. I love it man~! Can't wait to use them~! =P

Hi everyone~! =D Just wana update u gals abt my life. It is nothing much actually haha =p NOW, now, i noe u all wun be satisfied.

okies. Here's the brief summary:

last thur - went taka with baobei and borrowed 4 comics back from Orchard library. I love mangas lol =_*

last fri - cycling with baobei at pasir ris park. damn painful my butt! only 1 hour somemore..seriously i think i lost some fats there! *cough cough* hee!

last sat - went his house watch "my date with vampire 2" =D

last sun - attended a wedding lunch at Four Seasons~ I love the atmosphere, decor and food. Jasmine tea, mango pudding..and lots more~!

monday - baobei and i went to Wild Wild Wet~! My first time~! *_~ Love the "Ular- lah" there haha =D bought a swimsuit and hairband.

tuesday - went with chata to buy her mp3 at sim lim sq. proceed to slack at bao bao's place and watch dvd.

I duno why, but recently i realised i can't be patient with chata. It's like i have changed or something. She said she has always been like this - panicky, blur, reliance on me. Maybe i m a different person now. Is it for the better or worse..well, i wana noe too. I feel sad looking at our relationship. A lil' guilty that at my behaviour. How did i manage to be best friends with her in the past. I can't remember..we did have lots of shared dreams and topics to talk abt. And we both love shopping. But am i that unobservant tat i din noe her. As in NOE her character all these while..? =.= haiz! i still treasure her and dun wana lost her as my best friend. I guess only time will tell.

The long and short about my latest job!

Hey guys~! =D It has been a while since i've update my life in this blog. Hope i haven lost my touch heehee =p

For this actual 9 weeks that i have worked as a Hoyu Promoter, i have learnt quite a bit and made new friends.

From knowing nothing abt hairdyes and not bothering with hair colours (and being quite happy at that), I evolved to be a better person armed with more knowledge than the average hairdye users. It was also my first time participating in a roadshow. You bet i was excited! Maybe this is wad ppl mean by "learn from the job". Very true indeed huh! =X

And somewhere along the job, i had the most interesting opportunity to be using Beauteen's hair colour at Hoyu Hair Colour Studio. Having virgin hair meant that certain colours would not suit me. And so i was eager to try if Beauteen will have an effect on me! And yes it did, i love my cocoa beige colour now! =D I enjoyed having my hair dyed by my fellow colleagues at the hair colour studio (with the help of promoters). In turn, i also had to help my promoters colleagues dye their hair. It's kinda awkward, dying hair for strangers! Quite fun actually haha! =)

Among the places i have worked, i love Bugis Junction watsons the most! *_~

The watsons ppl there are nice, promoters talk easily with each other. Conversions flowed smoothly amongst promoters and the watsons ppl are great and smiley plus friendly too, unlike those at guardian that i have worked. Let's not mention names here, i m scared of being sued! Ha! =X Sales are relatively good too~! Well, at least i dun have to be worried abt my sales lol =p I will also miss chatting with my customers. Some aunties and uncles can be real funny~! Not forgetting the youngsters who buys from me too~!

Here i will name those ppl i like the most from my work experience.

From the one week roadshow, the closest fellow hoyu promoter i have come to know is Hsueh Hua. She is the only other gal who is the same batch as me. She and i came to know each other on the day of our training session. We din bother to exchange hp numbers until the second last day of our roadshow. She asked for my hp number so as to keep in contact. The way we communicate is both funny, crappy and non-offensive. Why do i say so, it's becos even sometimes we tok abt sensitive issues like heights, she will turn it into a joke and i will follow suit. PLUS, not forgetting i am naturally full of imagination and full of nonsense as well~! =p haha! When it got so cold at the roadshow, we will lock with each other's arms and get warmth. Such a body gesture shows a lot. We are that comfortable being "close". We worked hard and maintained a positive competitive relationship. I was touched and shocked when hsueh hua gave me her 50 cents coupon, the commission coupon that is worth 50 cents to me one day. It's a small gesture, but i was nevertheless shocked that a fellow promoter will give me her money! In this environment and world where everyone is out to get more for herself, she actually gave me part of her hard earn pay. She told me the reason was she din wana trouble boss to change money. In my heart, it was like achieving the impossible and i would like to say, "thx, for the sweet gesture!" =)

And there is the crappy and lenient Ah Chong, Assistant Store Manager at Bugis, who feels it is his "duty" to cheer me up when he sees me being so sian and stoning atone corner of my Product Shelves. Haha! That guys is so crappy with his "Why, why, why" that it gets into my nerves talking to him! I told him countless times that i will puke blood, talking to him! =X Sometimes, he will be purposely sarcastic and "teased" me, but wad comes out of his mouth must never be taken seriously. other times, he will mumble to himself, "stress ah!" etc..and i will reply him, cos i m tat BORED! At the last day of Samantha at bugis, he even taught us some clever tricks of him. Mathematic trick question and easy way to calculate multiplications of the same two and three-digits numbers. I remembered he always wana kid ard with the promoters and watsons stuff. Always make me laugh and wana cry at the same time! This guy always say "dun want" when i asked him to sign my timesheet. When checking bags, he will purposely "checked" tat i "stole" some watsons products!

And there is samantha! The Lucidol-L promoter who came to work at Bugis for 2 wks. She's tall, slim, clever, sophisticated and a very nice and friendly gal~! =.* Love her to bits~! She's everything i wana be lah tat gal~! First day we know, both of us chatted like we were long lost sisters~! She is such so open with the topics we chat abt. Discussing gal fashions to customer behaviours, sch, how to maintain a gd figure, salary, makeup to relationship problems. I feel that we can really click well with each other. It's such an amazing feeling, working along side with a fellow gd friend. The best of all will be her character. She did not try to snatch away my customer even though we were from competitive brands. It's just a mutual understanding that we would and were working harmoniously at this enclosed area of watsons. Stressless, comfy and friendly - tat's wad i will describe our relationship.

I think it shows something when one can talk freely abt her difficulties and problems with another. it's like allowing someone to enter ur lil' secret garden. private, initimate thoughts and feelings tat are comfortable enough to be disclosed and be open abt. Trusting someone to emphasize with u, to be comforted, encouraged, and not to be laugh at by the other person. It's a rare gift, and i realise it when samantha opened up and told me abt her relationship problems with her bf. That only adds to me liking her much more! =D

At the end of the last day samantha worked at bugis, she gave me 2 chocolate bars and a msg on paper. I was genuinely touched. In the 3 days where we had known each other, she actually gave me a gift. And a gift is a gift from her heart, i believe. Yet, i din prepared to give her anything. Perhaps the only gift i gave her was the first day when i bought her product when she is one less from her commission target.

She came back to visit me on my last day of work, update me abt her new workplace and relationship problems, and finally also bought a hairdye from me like she mentioned. This time round, i was prepared. Bought her a chocolate chewy gums. Hope she likes it =D
