Jake and I decided to expand our business so we ventured from South Carolina to North Carolina. We spent a couple of weeks there "setting up the biz" and quickly noticed two important factors. 1.) The city of Asheville is very cool and 2.) The city of Asheville is a little too touristy for our business to thrive. Our marketing/advertising business has more of a grass roots type of feel and it works best in residential communities-- not vacation hot spots. We were a little sad to leave our new, hip, smoky mountain town, but we were also glad to make the decision before we had spent too much time on what would have been an unnecessary struggle for our business.
In our short time there we had a lot of fun. We were able to hang out with our good friend Laura-- who took us downtown to where a drum circle takes place every Friday night! We ate lots of good food (Indian, Southern, Vegetarian) and below is a picture of a tofu burrito. We also saw this awesome bus! If you can't see all the windows it reads: This is a home. Stay Human. Grow Food.
