One dollar and seventy-nine cents

Has anyone else ever eaten a whole jar of Maraschino Cherries by themselves in one sitting? .... Ya, me neither. I don't know where in the world this picture of an empty jar came from???

Picture Tag

I hardly ever know when I get "tagged" because words like cache, frame, stemming, java, plug-ins, etc.... well I just haven't realized yet that these words have become internet jargon.  My friend Joanna tagged me electronically and told me to go to my 4th album, 4th picture and re-post it.  Well album.... is that like post?  That's the best I can give you so here it is.  I went to my first ever fourth post and counted four pictures down, however, there were only 3 pictures so I just kept counting down and took the next closest pictures: the first picture of the 3rd post and the last picture of the 5th post.  See how technical I can be?... Just not when it comes to computer lingo.
If you need an explanation on these photos just go visit my 2007 year.

ihop commercial

I absolutely LOVE the ihop commercial where the guy wakes up and rolls out of bed, then starts rolling down the stairs while rolling up in his blanket. He gets to the bottom of the stairs and says "Mmm" and his wife asks "What?" He looks at her and says, "stuffed crepes at ihop." I don't think they play this commercial anymore but it made me laugh EVERY time. I tried looking it up but instead I found one of their commercials from 1969. Check out how CREEPY it is!

Deep thoughts....

I know people. Blogging doesn't happen much for Jake and Cody. I don't like making it my "journal" and I don't like sharing all the real "juicy" stuff in my life. So.... what do you guys want to hear about? Here is a boring fact: Wikipedia is one of the bookmarks on the toolbar of our computer. It has become harder for me to learn new things because now it's never a challenge to find the answer. Wikipedia is just a click away. When I have to work hard for something, the lesson seems to stick with me longer. Wikipedia is great, but I think it's making me dumber.

I've been thinking about pickles a lot lately. Today.... I "wikipedia'd" pickles. Did you know that if you talk about pickles in the UK, you're most likely referring to a pickled onion? And did you know that there is a block party/festival in New York City where they have created a celebration for International Pickle day? Last year they expanded and covered two blocks of New York with all different walks of pickles.

Yes, this is my life.
Cool as a cucumber Cody.
Or odd as an onion, oh yeah!
