What is it?!?!

Lilly had her kindergarten shots this month. I tried to prepare her and help her to be brave. Immediately after the needles go in, she is crying and screaming, "What is it?!?!?" Brian, in his loving way, tried to remind Lilly that they are the shots we talked about. "No Daddy. What band-aid is it?"

Band-aids were the carrot for my daughter and she had to know right away if the band-aids given were worth the pain. I wish I would have been there, but I love the glimpse into Lilly's priorities.

We made Miss Maddie a potato head present for Christmas. Felt is not my medium of choice but it was a lot of fun!
