Assembled from from 5 European monasteries that were disassembled brick by brick and moved to Manhattan, Cloisters is the single most fascinating thing I saw in New York. If someone gives you a must-see list for New York and Cloister's is not on it, throw the list away and reconsider the nature of your friendship with that person. Serioulsy.
