Grandpa's House of Frogs

It is so great to be able to visit family and go to a mini zoo at the same time. Plus, the regular zoo won't open the cages so you can see inside.

St George

Dancing around on the grass at the St. George temple was the highlight of the trip. Someday, Lilly will be embarrassed to see me dance, but, for now, I am cool.

Vegas and no Accidents

If you will remember last year, we had an eventful trip to Las Vegas. We needed to make some new memories. So, off we went to Vegas to see the temple and visit my old haunts.

We went to my high school, and junior high. Saw the chapel where we used to attend church. We even went to the last two houses we lived in. My memory (plus a little GPS help) was much better this time around, Such a fun trip down memory lane. :)

Kershaw Ryan

My parents have a great state park about 5 minutes from their house, Kershaw Ryan. Actually, they have a couple of parks, but not important now. We took some of our engagement pictures here and love to swim in their shallow swimming pool. It is still deep for James and Lilly, but in another year or so, it should be perfect. It has long walking trails, a few pavilions, horse shoe courts, etc. Wanna go?

Summer Visit

We spent a week in June to visit Grandma & Grandpa Barlow. Lots of fun times in Caliente, NV. Of course, it really is about seeing Grandpa's toys...and Grandma & Grandpa. We tried to find new playgrounds and found a great one by the old depot.

Awesome old fashioned metal slide

Takin' turns

Loves to swing as much as his mama.

Loves it.

Playgrounds need merry-go-rounds

Train car

Eatin' a croissant

We had lots of fun swimming, chasing chickens, eating yummy food, and all the usual pursuits. Barlow B&B is highly recommended.

Uncle "Mac"

We lucked out in May when plans for Uncle Matt changed and he came to stay a few days with us. Matt soon had both kids eating out of the palm of his hands...what a little electronic enticement and an excellent Grover voice will bring my children running.

He plays in little houses.

Reads stories.

Thanks Matt for staying with us. You are loved and missed.
