Paige decided to raise Butterflies to give her students an example of life-cycles or something like that. I don't really know, I did not do well in my Biology class, hence the "Magna Cum Laude" and not the "Suma Cum Laude". Oh, and Algebra. Curse you, college Algebra!

Anyway, we released the little flappers back into the wild here at the house so the kids could get some enjoyment out of it.

The Big Surprise - Stage 2

I spent an entire day putting together a playhouse from Costco. Turns out it was WAY cheaper than building one from scratch. Drawback: no floor. And the dead and dusty corner we put it on meant the kids had to have a bath EVERY single time they played in it.

But I had a plan.  Behold, the finished playhouse: (Landscaping to follow)

Check it out folks. It has a bridge to go over the "stream bed" that I made the sandbox into. Yep, that's just a small sample of my creative whimsey.
