Bobbin' for Apples
Our trees are loaded with apples...yummy yummy apples that bring fall to bursting on your tongue at the first bite. I have plans for lots of applesauce as well, but I am trying to bide my time until the first frost. In the meantime, we love them for food and toys.

Because of course it is
So, we bought some blocks from Costco. And the first thing Brian makes is something that looks very much like a temple.

These feet are made for walking...
James took his 1st steps today. He walked across our living room to a friend of mine. (Apparently, he has quite the eye for the ladies.) Brian came up to watch and he repeated his performance a second time to me. No video, but we will get one soon.
Let the races begin.

James is #1!!
Mr. James turned 1 this year. We had fun planning a train birthday party for him. I thought I did a good job being creative like with Lilly's, but I may not have done quite as good of a job. Oh well, 2nd child and all that. Never the less, we had a blast and were glad for everyone who could come.
Thanks for coming to my party!!

School with Mommy
I will take any amount of time with Lilly and James as I can. Even if it means taking them to school with me while I get some things done. There are always last minute things to do before school started...so off we went.
She looks like she is ready...but I am NOT

Not MIA
Not a lot of posts coming out of this Olson household lately. We're still here, but things have been busy. Brian and Jake have been working insanely hard to finish the doors for our beautiful closet. Brian has started his school semester where he is the Project Manager. While there are bigger projects at UVU, he is managing the most people. School has started up for me, both as a teacher and a student. (I am in the middle a Gifted endorsement program.) The yard is beginning to be ready for winter, and I have been canning a lot to add to our food storage. So, stay tuned for a slew a posts.
