Lilly's Tale
Once a pon time, there girl named Lilly. Her wear princess dress.
And shoes.
Had Bell. (note: she has a rubber Bell toy from Beauty and the Beast)
We were waiting for Brian to come out of a store in the car, when she starting reading me this story off of a blank piece of paper. We read (we repeated) the first part a few times, before she decided the story was not finished. After all, every girl needs shoes.

Stairs Conquered
James has gotten more... Difficult to keep track of.
A couple of weeks ago, it was just standing at the stairs and screaming that they were in his way.
Shortly after we got home from Caliente, I turned around to find him halfway up the stairs.
Turns out, he will follow his sister ANYWHERE. We have to hover now, as he insists on trying to go down front first.

Attitude
'I don't know who this guy is, but I find his design sense lacking. Would not vote for.'
Lilly has been showing alot of "attitude" in the way she holds her hands on her hips all the time.

Robbing the Craddle... From Grandma
Because when the cradle is available, you have to seize the opportunity with both hands, and snuggle it.

Pendulum
This pendulum was absolutely fascinating. It held his attention for, oh, two or three whole minutes.
He left many fingerprints on the glass, giggling the whole time.

The week from the Twilight Zone
What a week.
First we were told on Monday that repairs on the car would be delayed.
Then we were told on Tuesday morning that repairs were escalating. Then Tuesday afternoon we were told the car would be totaled afterall.
Then we were told Wednesday that rather than prepare the totaling process, the car was still being repaired, and no one is quite sure why the one State Farm agent I talked to decided the car should be totaled.
Then Thursday we were notified of some issues with the police report. Namely it had me driving, but with Paige's birthday and Paige's License number. It also listed me as the passenger. We are still not entirely certain that that issue has been resolved.
Last month were were notified that I qualified for a scholarship for Fall and Spring Semesters, but only if I went full time both semesters. As I only need 9 credits to graduate, and there are not 15 credits that I am ready to take, and I am burned out, and the extra costs and travel and whatnot that this would incur, we submitted an appeal asking if we could get part of the scholarship. We were told that the appeal would probably be accepted but that we would only get some help with Fall semester.
Today we were notified that our appeal had not only been accepted but that we would have more than half my costs paid for BOTH remaining semesters. We were asked to write a generic Thank You Letter to Donors, one page, telling a bit about myself and thanking for the Scholarship.
In the process of verifying my facts for the letter, we discovered that I HAVE MADE THE DEAN'S LIST EVERY SEMESTER I HAVE ATTENDED except One. That was a pleasant surprise to me. The car will be coming home, and I am walking just that much taller tonight.
