Sickies

Oh, fall
The lovely change in weather,
The colors of the leaves,
The cold nip in the air,
The winter wardrobe you have not seen in months...
And the inevitable sickness.

I had plans this weekend. Amazing, life altering, superwoman plans that were derailed by my humanity, the junior high cesspool and life.

So, sorry. No adorable pictures or amazing stories. Lilly and I spent the weekend in bed, trying not to cry.

Good news is we are both on the mend.

Halloween

What does every normal person do one night a year, but no one looks at you strange?

Olson Family Party - Brian came as a Hogwarts student, I came as Mother Nature, and Lilly came as Tiger Lilly (pun intended).

School - Traditional black cat - Black shirt, black pants, ears, and 2 minutes with some black face paint...done and done.

Trunk or Treat - Group effort - Calvin, Hobbes, and Suzie. Really, we were inspired by Joyce (idea) and Matt and Chris (you can dress up and just wear your own clothes.)

We wore name tags and made Lilly Hobbes.
