Scor-Pal #72 Summer/Patriotic or Anything Goes

It's time for a new challenge at More Than One Score with Scor-Pal and this month along with our "Always Anything Goes" we have the option of Summertime or Patriotic!

I went with a Summertime theme and used this super sweet paper pad from Michael's as my inspiration and made a sweet little receipts book for my crafting/home decor receipts.
And don't worry, it's hidden far, far away from my hubby! LOL

I used my Scor-Pal Eighths to score 1/4" scores along the edges of the pages, making it very easy to add to the cover of the book using my Scor-Tape. I then added little pockets for each separate store.
I love the lemon and green combination of this paper pad, it makes me smile when I see it
Don't say who told you but there is a SALE on Scor-Tape right now!
Also there is another EXCITING NEW PRODUCT in the store, please check it out by clicking the aforementioned link!

Recipe:
Paper and Embellishment - Mint to Be paper pad by Craft Smart (Michael's)
Ribbon - Unknown
Scoring Tool - Scor-Pal Eighths
Adhesive - Scor-Tape

I think it turned out so cute and I hope you do too!
We really want to see your cute entries so come on over to More Than One Score with Scor-Pal and show us your creations!

More Than One Score at Scor-Pal #64 Harvest/Fall/Halloween

It's time for a new challenge at More Than One Score at Scor-Pal and this time we want to see your Fall/Harvest or Halloween projects.

I decided to go with Halloween and make a Haunted House!

It started with 2 wooden house shapes from the Dollar Tree and then I covered them with cardstock and used my Scor-Pal to make the sides to create the house and then to create the corrugated roof.
I added a wooden fence and felt accents and then a string of lights inside to make it glow!

I really had a lot of fun with this, I'm actually thinking of making another and filming it for YouTube so you can see how I actually made it.

More Than One Score at Scor-Pal #61 - Anything Goes with the option of Patriotic

It's time for a new challenge at More Than One Score at Scor-Pal and this time we want to see your projects with the theme of "Anything Goes with the option of Patriotic"

I decided to go with a sunny, Summer theme and created a fold-out photo book, perfect for those holiday snaps!
It has a hanger so can be hung up to easily display all the fun memories.

I used a set of journaling cards from Echo Park, alternating matted cards for your photos, and used my Scor-Pal to create the seams that allowed my album to fold easily.

I hope you like this and be sure to check out our great samples and enter at More Than One Score at Scor-Pal

More Than One Score at Scor-Pal #60 Warmer Days (think Summer, warm colors etc)

It's time for a new challenge at More Than One Score at Scor-Pal and this time we want to see your "Warmer Days" creations, you can use a Summer/Outdoors theme, or use warmer colors, the choice is yours!

I have decided to make a double tri-fold card with a pop up sentiment for my project and I have created a "create with me" video so you can make one of these yourself!
The description of the score markings are in the description box of my video, along with all the items needed to make it.
I would love to have you subscribe, I am mixing up easy to create home decor DIY's with paper crafting projects so there is a little for everyone to enjoy :)

Project Recipe:
Patterned Paper and Sentiment of your choice, I used Orange Blossom by Recollections, a hot buy from Michael's
Scor-Tape adhesive
Scor-Pal Scoring board
Border punch of choice

A quick tip when using double sided patterned paper for this project, be wary of both sides of the paper as with the graduated tri-fold, you will see the back of the paper as well the front so make sure the patterned look good in the direction you cut the paper.

I really hope you liked this and will come and join us in the challenge, we keep wanting to give away our $25 gift certificate and need our 10+ entrants to be able to do that, More Than One Score at Scor-Pal

More Than One Score at Scor-Pal #59 Floral Fantasy

It's time for a new challenge at More Than One Score at Scor-Pal and this time we want to see your "Floral Fantasy" creations
With Mother's Day in the US coming up on May 12th it is the perfect time to create something and enter it in our challenge!
For my project I created a Faux Wood Farmhouse style crate from just one piece of 12" by 12" cardstock and decorated it with faux flowers.
I created a YouTube video showing the process and all the directions are over there in the description box so you can follow along with me.

Project Recipe:
1 12" by 12" piece of cardstock
4" by 6" canvas from the Dollar Tree for the base (you can use cardstock or chipboard instead if you like)
Scor-Pal 1/8ths board
Scor-Tape
Ink for distressing
Floral Foam
Flowers and Greenery
Chalk board sign

Cut your cardstock into 2 pieces measuring 5" by 8" and 2 at 4" by 5".
Lay the 5" by 8" on the Scor-Pal board and but the shorter side to the top. Score at 4" and flip over the other side, still with the shorter side at the top, score at 1", 2" and 3", this will form the "boards" on the side of the crate. Flip the cardstock over again and the align the longer side to the top and score at 1" and 7". Repeat for the other piece the same size. At the bottom of the longer snip up to the 1" score line where the scores intersect and form a square, this will create a flap that makes it easier to fold to create the base. Burnish the 1" score lines that will form the flaps that attach the sides together.
With the smaller piece align on the Scor-Pal with the 5" side at the top, score at 4" and flip over, keeping the longer side at the top, score at 1", 2" and 3", repeat with the other piece, burnish the 1" flap on both.
Assemble the crate using Scor-Tape to attach the 4 sides together, Add the canvas as the base, it should fit perfectly inside. Add ink if desired to distress the joints and score lines that form the board on the crate.
Arrange flowers in the floral foam and add to the crate along with the sign.

I really hope you liked this, we have some fabulous projects from the team this month, please be sure to drop by and check them out and enter your "Floral Fantasy" at More Than One Score at Scor-Pal
