Beautiful Buttons

I had the chance to have a little play this morning. It was pouring with rain outside and the girls were tucked up in the lounge with Toy Story 3 and the hubster was at work - perfect crafting conditions !!! 

I saw the challenge of kraft and twine over at CAS on Sunday and I just knew it was time to break open the Papertrey Ink stamps I have been wanting for eternity, bought and never actually used **blush**.

The papers I used are Tilda "Country Escape".  I used these for a magazine commission and had some scraps left over.  They are gorgeous.

The buttons and corrugated kraft card are from my stash.

BasicGrey Challenges - Make a Tag

Good morning !

I'm slowly getting used to the fact that I don't have to get up and rush around here, there and everywhere and enjoy the school holiday !

Leaver's assembly on Wednesday was very emotional and it was sad to say goodbye to all the Year 6's but they are moving onto a new and exciting chapter and challenge in their lives which I am sure they will enjoy and be successful.

Anyway, it is again time for another challenge over at

BasicGrey Challenges !

Our challenge for the next fortnight is

MAKE A TAG

Now, I decided to make a tag on a card !

I saw the theme of "Gold" over at CASology and I knew I just had to join in.  This piece of DP from "Serenade" looks perfect with the gold of the Butterfly Tendrils Die.

Splash of Neon

Oooh I just discovered the new challenge over at The Play Date Cafe and it was right up my street today !  The challenge is to use black and white with a "splash" of neon yellow.  I lurve the Hero Arts neon inks so this was the perfect opportunity to crack open the juicy neon yellow !

These Papertrey Ink stamps "Watercolor Wonder" teamed with Simon Says Stamp Exclusives "Happy Every Day" were perfect.  I even found some black and white sequins !
