well well well. TWO WEEKS! the wonders of how fast time flies.

So.Today.was.an.ok.day.not.a good.not a bad. just. an. ok.because.nothing.good.happens.and.neither.did.anything.bad. RIGHT. so. enough of my dumb crap yeahh. SO I'LL TELL YOU WHAT HAPPENED. today. woke up in the morn, went to sch for band. then went for lunch at scotts to eat beef noods. yumm. x) well anyway, after eating, i went to tangs to shop for daddy's birthday present because his birthday's on monday and I haven't gotten it. no no no. HAD NOT GOTTEN IT AT THAT TIME. yess. right so i was set on getting him some golf balls. which i did. after running around tangs, TO NO AVAIL. Wonder if they even had a bloody sports section. yeahh then i went to shaw centre. you know at the lido place? yeap.haha. i know i know i know.. you're not dumb.lol. rigght..found daddy a box of golf balls. noodle spin. hahaaa. anyway i was running out of time. so i rushed back. during sectionals, instead of practising, our section was catching frogs! hahaaa. whatever. then after band, we went to- wait wait that's wrong. I went to get daddy's present wrapped x) i got daddy a card too. $7 dollars ok!! damn ex! haha. maybe i'll share it with my sis. but the card was really nice. which was why i bought it duhh. so then it was going to 6pm then i rushed home because I'm not allowed to stay out late. and I saw James on the bus. cool right. haha. x) end of story. oh wait not yet! then i went home. then i went to chomp chomp to buy dinner! haha. Then it's end of story. hahaa. x)

`Wheeeee.

yay. haha. I dunno why I'm so happy, but I just changed my layout. lol. now my layout is nice and orange!! yayy. lol. Rachel wrote me a testi! haha. yayy. I dunno why but I'm feeling very blur today. hmmm. aah wells.

kaekae. today we went for a heritage tour a.k.a. the malay civilisation trail. haha. We visited the daeng ibrahim mosque and this indoor tomb thing which i dunno how to spell the name. haha. it was a lil' freaky being so near dead bodies. haha. but it was quite cool la. Went to the Asian Civilisation Museum. It was damn cool.. like they way they presented the exhibits and stuff. haha. Charlene and Sarah fell asleep halfway through the talk. I was half asleep too. lol. yeahh. anyway then we went to Sri Warisan and the name means heritage shine through? i dunno.. didn't hear what she said.. but it was sth like that la..lol. watched a silat demonstration.. then we sabo-ed sufen and fush. haha.

okaay. after we came back right.. they were practising the dance in the amphi. then CO came over to watch.. ehh. our dance rocks right? haha. then after that we were watching CO dance. then alot of them said that CO copied us. i dunno what's true and what's not la, but they DID have alot of similar moves to us. But then i doubt they copied us.. cos' when did they have time to discuss things and modify their dance in 2 mins? so.. ehh. i dunno.

`I think this was the best day of all lahh. Not very many prominent events & quite interesting. haha. that's my opinion. haha. I can't rmb what happened that morning. but that afternoon, me and Janice went to Suzy's house. I went there to learn the guitar and Janice went there to practice the dance with Suzy. haha. Ate at Sakae Sushi before going to her house. yumm. haha. ok so I met a new friend called Cara. haha. She was so cuuute! She's Suzy's neighbour. haha. Suzy calls her loser caramel. so mean right. Cara's a nice name. :)) hahah. Then after a while we had to go home cos' it was quite late already. haha. So I wanted to log in one more time to MSN to tell my mum that I was coming back soon la but then I got very distracted. hahah. Stupid Suzy. Anw, halfway talking to James then Suzy's com no batt. irri right. haha. So then I really had to go home. Came home quite late. ALMOST DARK. hahahs. Then came online cos' my mum was only using the music to do her dance. James still online. So I talk lor. Must apologize what cos' suddenly I dun talk for so long. haha. He ah, "O"s coming still use com for so long. tsk tsk. haha. I had to leave for tkd after that. haha. That day's tkd was quite okay. `Whoa. Sunday was damn cool too lahh. Morning, i went to church, then went for cat. class. At least I didn't laugh out loud right. I'm sure people who saw me smiling to myself that day must have thought I was crazy or something. haha. I wanted to use the com but then my mum didn't allow. lol. She made me go shopping with her. aaaah. but you know right. I so totally did not regret it la.. LOL. wheeeeeeee. oh oh then ah.. uncle ben made us do this weird exercise in the communication wb which he lost mine btw so i had to share with gabrielle. I, Marissa, officially proclaim that today was HORRIBLE!!! Fist of all, I wake up so damn bloody early only to find out that I was one hour early. And I was like "what the hell...?!?!" okay then we had footdrills for like 1hr++ and I didn't really feel very well so I asked permission to fall out 3 times before I got a response. haha. not your fault I know @ diana and weiting. aah. okaaaay. haha. then we had sectionals which was kinda ok, then combined band prac overall was horrible. esp when we were playing the gift of love and epilogue. horrible. I couldn't even see the notes clearly. had to keep straining my eyes. haha.

It's recess again. haha. I love recess. I can always use the com :)) unlike at home now where I have to sneak on... hahahs. now I abit nothing to write leh.. oh yeahh. today during ting xie I erm.. cheated. whoops. shouldn't have said that. There was the word on a piece of gao zhi on my table. Oh and Lydia helped my right chu xing cos I couldn't think of it. But then I still got 12/15 la.. which wasn't so bad.. considering the one I learned for I only got 9/15. but at least I passed, which for ting xie is very very super rare lah. So far the day hasn't been all that bad..haha. feeling weird today. bored but happy. hahhs. Actually I shouldn't be feeling happt cos I cannot go to church next week. During my grandmother's birthday dinner on Saturday my sis was trying to teach me my next tkd pattern. and I still can't get it right. haha. Yesterday Audaud was raving to me abt her letter to her senior, sarah. She wrote this super long letter abt some stuff. haha. can't say if not she'll prob kill me or sth.. supp to be private i guess. :)) Yupps. Listening to the radio while typing this. It was really funny. I was thinking that if I promised myself I would study hard and do well then I would really study. But it isn't working!! omg today was so fun.. Catechism class roxx man. and so does SFX. yeahh. haha. went to church before cat. class and then saw alot of ppl whom i knew. ya then after that i went abt looking for my sis cos her cat class was like, from 9 to 10 then church finish at 10 . but then it turns out i was earlier than her. hehs. so i found her in the church bookshop(as usual) and then we walked around for a while.. ya. then I went for cat class. yupps. Auntie Margaret chose me to say the opening prayer today and I was thinking like, "why me???" haha. oh well. all I said was, " thank you for bringing us here today and please help us to pay attention to the lesson.. err.." hha. yep. i couldn't think of anything else to say..sad story. yupps. luckily not everyone was there yet so I was kinda relieved :)). hehs. then cat. class was so funn :)) We sorta played broken telephone. ya. haha. and then we came up with this really weird message like, "Nancy, Bill and Mary went to the video shop to get a video to watch at Mary's house on Saturday morning." That was like totally so off. haha. the actual one was sth like, "Nancy, Bill and Mary went to the video store on a saturday afternoon to get a video to watch on a saturday afternoon." haha I know the sentence doesn't make sense now but then I cannot remember the actual sentence but it was SOMETHING like that la. and then after broken telephone auntie margaret was talking to us awhile and then they got James and Ashley and erm.. two other guys to act this telephone conversation out for us. haha. It was really super funny. haha. Just thinking abt it makes me feel like laughing. haha. I'm feeling so high today.. I'm not on drugs obviously but whatever. :))

I'm thirteen years old, but even now I can remember everything from that year, down to the smallest details. I relive that year often in my mind, bringing it back to life, and I realise that when I do, I always feel a strange combination of sadness and joy. There are moments when I wish I could roll back the clock and take all the sadness away, but I have the feeling that If I did, the joy would be gone as well. So I take the momories as they come, accepting them all, letting them guide me whenever I can. This happens more often then I let on.... As I leave my houe, I glance around. The sky is overcast and gray, but as I move down the street, I notice that the dogwoods and azaleas are blooming, I zip my jacket just a little. The temperature is cool, though I know it's only a matter of weeks before it will settle in to something comfortable and the gray skies give way to the kind of days North Carolina one of the most beautiful places in the world.
With a sigh, I feel it all coming back to me. I close my eyes and the years begin to move in reverse, slowly ticking backward, like the hands of a clock rotating in the wrong direction. As if through someone else's eyes, I watch myself grow younger;... Lessons I've learnt with age grow dimmer, and my innocence returns as that eventful year approaches.
Then, like me, the world begins to change: roads narrow and some become gravel, suburban sprawl has been replaced with farmland, downtown streets teem with people, looking in windows as they pass Sweeney's bakery and Palka's meat shop. Men wear hats, women wear dresses. At the courthouse up the street, the bell tower rings...

Today wasn't really quite interesting...except that we were bullying suzy again and JN said that he loved her. ahahaaa. Audaud made me sing the maiphenrai song with her so many times. :D oh oh and "I won't say I'm in love" too. hahaaa. Love that song :D we missed PE today because it was raining.. :( so ms lee came in and we did lit. instead! It was really fun because it was something that I could actually give the answers to.. not something that puzzles me. Or maybe I'm just plain dumb. Spent yesterday night typing out the lyrics for the Chang and Eng songs. Well, only four of them, but considering I had to listen to the music to get the lyrics, it took about an hour or so because my typing is very slow. Woops. I can't tell you why I was hyperventilating becauese it's kind of private. Oh noooo. my computer has gotten this stupid disease that when you type something wrongly and you delete it and write over it, it will write over the next word which means I have to type out the whole sentence. That is SUPER frustrating. anyway.. I've gotta go find something to do now.. maybe some quizzes or something. :))I love my blog. :))

I can't believe I'm still slacking.. It's like, a week from exams and I still haven't started intensive studying yet. I think I shall be hardworking today :)) You know what really frustrates me, I can't study when there's people around. The whole house must be super quiet then I can study in peace, and since I'm the type where it's hard to find me actually studying, once you break my concentration, I'll never get back to studying again. I did my history notes last night. Well, I'm not actually done yet but ALMOST.. almost.. I think and hour or two more and I'll have finished my notes for history. I hate source-based questions. I always seem to fail the SBQ in all the tests and exams. For eg, mid-years I had 5/20 for SBQ. So great right? yeahh.

I don't know why, but I'm happy writing this.. :)) I sure hope my composition has improved..I can't bear it if my composition sucked again for Finals. Finals Rock. It signifies the end of the year. After finals, FREEDOM AT LAST. I wonder how I'd feel after 'O's. aah wells. Been sleeping late every night since last week. guess what I was doing.. Writing in my journal! Since my mum rarely lets me near the computer anymore, I don't really have the time to blog... So the only alternative is to write in my journal right? Especially since I have had alot on my mind these days.. I sacrificed my whole recess to write this and now recess is almost over.. I'd better get back to class.

Recess was kinda boring.. rahh didn't want to follow me to the library.. by the time she finished eating recess was about over. haha. So I didn't go in the end. After recess was an uneventful geog lesson.. I was writing letters the whole time.. So boring!! Although I like geog, It's the studying I like, not the learning. haha.Then it was chinerse lesson after that. When was chinese lesson EVER interesting? but she sent Del, Mel and Claire out for disturbing her class. she said they couldn't come in tmr too. When she asked them to get out, she was like(translated)"you three go out of the class now." then I was like -gasp- "me?" then lao shi was like," no, mel,del, & claire." I really feel sorry for them. THEN... it was errr. SCIENCE. yuck. we did some stuff then I went for golf after sch..Taxi driver was friendly.. though I didn't feel like talking.. haha. golf was quite ok.. dad sent me home.. then ran off somewhere again. yupps. then after that.. my mum went out.. I came here. and Here I AM! oh yeahh.

heys. just got back my english oral exam marks. got 12 upon 20. lowest in class. so cool!! haha..first time i got lowest in class.. this is so coooooool. NOT!! haha. who the hell would be happy when they get the lowest in class. I got the lowest in class for chinese oral too. therefore I can conclude that my oral sucks. there. inference. from that I can infer that I will at least pass history. hahhaaa. Went to buy disney MAGIC CD after school. thought the disney songs were really really COOL. haha. Then when I came back, my mum asked me how I did for english oral and I was like -gasp- "errr. I did OK." what was I supposed to say?? I couldn't just tell her i got the lowest in class. She'd start hammering me probably.[end adventure]

Today, I went to watch cinderella story again after school. I couldn't resist the urge to watch it again. AND I'm still not bored of it. I mean, It's a great show, and I'm SO going to by the DVD. I just realised that a Cinderella Story is an exceptionally inspirational movie, and the producers rock.

Watching the show invoked some thought into my head. On my way home, I was reflecting on the meaning of one little word - life.

Quoted from the cinderella story, this string of words, as one may call it, is very inspiring. It forces you to realise that, "hey, nothing's going to stop me from achieving my dreams." If you put in the necessary effort and go all out to achieve my dreams, who knows, one day it may very well come true.

Having a positive attitude towards things is also very important. Each morning I wake up and say to myself, I have two choices today. I can choose to be in a good mood or I can choose to be in a bad mood. I always choose to be in a good mood. Each time something bad happens, I can choose to be a victim or I can choose to learn from it. I always choose to learn from it. Life is all about choices. When you cut away all the junk, every situation is a choice. You choose how you react to situations. You choose how people will affect your mood. You choose to be in a good mood or a bad mood. It's your choice how you live your life. I learned from this that every day you have the choice to either enjoy life or to hate it. The only thing that is truly yours that no one can control or take from you is your attitude, so that if you take care of that, everything else in life becomes much easier.

I think friendship is feinitely essential if you want to get through your setbacks. Without my friends, I would be nothing. I'd rather have one best friend than 10 good friends. Friends give you the moral support you need to get through life, and they will catch you if you fall. If they ever jumped off a bridge or cliff, I'd definitely be at the bottom to catch them. After all, that' s what friends are for right?

In my opinion, ultimately, love is the most important thing of all. I'm sure you've heard of the saying that love makes the world go round. We live in a world filled with love. We have a family to love and will be loved in return; we have friends to care for and will be cared for in return. What could be better than living a happy life filled with love, with your friends, family, and loved ones supporting you all the way?

haha. kae I'm abit high today :)) Today went out to celebrate Vanessa's birthday and had a whale of a time. Okaaay. Don't usually use that phrase but I'm watching Bachelorette as I'm typing this so I'm not really taking my time to think abt nice sweet phrases to write here. I can't believe myself.. haha.

Today I woke up at 9.15 (could have slept on but whadda hell!) Anw, I woke up because I thought I had tuition at 10am and I needed to get ready before tuition because if I didn't, I would be late. In the end, my STUPID tuition teacher cancelled the tuition after I got ready. What crap la. Anw, I met Vanessa,Jo,Yunnie,Amanda Lee and Chris. Poor Tiff couldn't come!! Awwww. haha. then then then.. We watched the Cinderella Story. OMG CHAD MICHAEL MURRAY IS SOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE!!! haha kaeee. It was a super super super nice show kae.. you peeps must go watch.yep yep he's on the cover of lime :P haha--

I didn't have tuition yesterday as I said I would. Had to go to church. Pure joy for me yesterday. yippee! After church, we went to Heartland Mall. Went shopping because my sister needed to buy school shoes. I went there to buy Vanessa's birthday present. Hope she likes it!! heh.I went to Giordano to see if I could buy any of the "me" T-shirts. I thought that they were quite cool. Unfortunately, my mum didn't allow me. Thought that I didn't need so many when I said I wanted to buy 2. Wanted me to buy the tee cheaper. What a cheap-skate. ^Sigh--
