Christmas....

so everyone came home for Christmas. which made everything twice as fun. The little kids had a great time opening presents and Hallie enjoyed helping me open mine as well. I got a jacket from Hollister (which I have needed desperately) from My grandma and grandpa, portable Hot pink Ipod speakers (which I love) from Robert, the new Alicia Keys CD from Santa, the top and skirt that I got on Black Friday from Santa and Mimi... On Christmas Adam (for those of you who don't know what that it is, it is the day before Christmas Eve)we had a big family Christmas party with all the near bye relatives. on Christmas Eve we went looking at Christmas lights, and on Christmas day, we opened presents and visited with each other. All in all, it has been loads of fun having everyone in town. Tonight we are all going on a gondola ride so I will let you all know how that goes.... those of you who read my blog and leave comments anyway... which is ummm... oh yeah.... very few of you!

black friday and christmas shopping... just for u tanner...

sooo.... has anybody ever been to black friday??? it is a very interesting day. I went with Alicia and her sister Jenna, just for the expericnce. We got up at three thirty in the morning to go to the big early bird specials and door busters. we started out first by stopping by Best-Buy. we got out of the car to go wait in the line, then we saw how long the line was. the line went all the way around the corner of the store all the way back to the installment center. It looked like a bunch of homeless poeple lived there... there were shopping carts turned upside down, puddles with playing cards in them, trash and dishes all over the ground, people with blankets, just waiting for the doors to open so they could get their precious door busters. after we saw the line, we went to Pennys instead. we got there just as they were opening the door. I found a REALLY cute top that gathered together in the front with a thick black belt that tied in the back... we decided to go to Old Navy in the mall. We got there at 4:40 and the line was still really short. then right before the store opened, the line lined the edge of the mall. they handed out red bracelets to the first fifty people or so... we were three of them... if you spent $20 or more then you got a free MP3 player. I already have an ipod, and i knew that it wouldnt sell for much, so I gave it to Mary. i got a t-shirt that was normally $12 for $3... YAY! after shopping at all of the little stores, we went out to breakfast at denny's. then i went home, had a nap, and then discoverd i could do my christmas shopping for me! so i went back to the mall, got a bute black, purple, and white dress, and a black skirt to go with my cute top. i know, im boring, and this really isnt that exciting at all... but since i am supposedly an absentee blogger, i had to put something.... that is my boring life...

so.. what am I? give up? i am supposed to be the game girl for that game "operation". I cut out white pieces of foam to look like the game pieces (ex: broken heart, water on the knee, eves apple, spare ribs, text thumb, butterflies in the stomach, etc.). we attatched them to welcro on my clothes, then I carried around salad tongs and when somebody tried to pull off my pieces, I would honk Michael's bike horn in their face. 1/2 of the people at the dance still didn't get it, and when they finally did, it wasn't funny anymore. So... i am going haunted housing tomorrow with my friends, I have an idea of what to be.. ill let u know if it works out...

Why I love these books...

Twilight, New moon and Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer are THE BEST books on the planet! I have read Eclipse three times, New moon twice, and Twilight twice... I started reading these books like two years ago and they are definitely the best books ever... I tried reading another book the other day and honestly... I don't know why all of these other people are still writing books... I mean... they've already lost. I really truely am obsessed. Edward is the only way to go. Oh and by the way... If anybody is wondering what to get me for christmas... I would like the trilogy in hard cover and signed... if you look at her website (stepheniemeyer.com)... go to books and gear... scroll down to changing hands book store ... and they still have signed copies available... just if anybody was wondering... LOL...

k, so at p.e. today, we were playing capture the flag. i reached out to pull my friend's flag and instead, my finger got caught on the bottom of her shirt (or her belt, im not sure which)and she kept running. Not her fault, I know, I was just kidding.so, my hand started throbbing and the bone in my little pinky in my right hand was sticking out a little and my finger was starting to turn purple. so I went to the nurse and she said it could be broken, she's not sure. I went to math because if I miss anyhting in math, I would fail the chapter test. I went to recess, trying to tough it out, and then the beginning of Language, then I went home.
so, the doctor didn't have any room for me so I have to go on Wednesday.
Well, besides that, I have enjoyed school so far and I like most of my teachers.
P.S.: Sorry if there's a lotta typos in this post, being short two fingers really affects how you type.

Auntie x4

YAY FOR BECCA!!!! Robert Alexander Marshall the third (we are going to call him Alex)was born on August 26th, 2007 at 11:26 pm. He weighed 7 and a 1/2 pounds and was 20 inches long. now i have 3 nephews (Owen, Chase, and now Alex) and 1 niece (Hallie). yay! the only problem is, they all keep leaving me!! In the delivery room was my mom, me, Alicia and Lara. Poor Robert missed the delivery by 12 hours... :(... he was on the ship in Hawaii and couldnt get home in time... he got on an emergency helicopter to fly home this morning... Becca WAS scheduled to be induced tomorrow after Robert got home tonight... but I guess the baby already has a mind of his own ;). Well, my mom and I spent the night in the recovery room with her (I wasn't supposed to be there, but Becca's nurse said I could stay as long as I didnt tell the other nurses because she would get in trouble). It was very interesting having to sleep in a twin bbed with my mother... I now know a WHOLE new definition to the word spoons.. JK... Love ya mom :)... I will try to post some pictures later, but I can't find the digital camera at the moment... I will post again soon!

whats new...

well, i know that i havent posted in a while... ok... a long while... but, heres the update... girls camp was great... i had a really fun time. i got to know the girls in my stake sooo much better. we went on this hike on the edge of the mountain. literally. there were times where if you took one wrong step, it seemed like you would plummit to your death. have you ever tried hiking in 100 degree weather??? well for those of you who havent, it is NOT fun... at all. the leaders this year werent as prepared. they didnt check to make sure that all of the girls brought enough water. a lot of girls suffered from heat exhaustion and one suffered from heat stroke... maybe next year they will prepare a little better.
oh yeah!!! did i mention that i got a cell phone!!! i got alicias old side kick!! and i have unlimited text messages and free mobile to mobile. and all i have to pay is 17 bucks a month!! good deal huh.
so since wednesday i have had the flu with 102 degree temperature and really upset stomach and a pounding headache. not exactly the way you would want to end the summer with(which ends on august 30th). today i am starting to feal a little better so hopefully i will be able to go to the corn roast this afternoon. i look forward to it all year and i dont want to miss it.

I am not a hypocrit!!!

okay...i have been cryticizing other people (not to name names tanner) for not blogging.... ever. then i realized that i had not blogged in like a couple of weeks. ok, update... i officially have 2 nephews. chase mathew horrocks was born on july 11, 2007. he weighed 8 lbs. 9 oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long. he is sooooooo adorable!!! this all happened the day before i left for youth conference. so sad. anyway, youth conference was a nine on the ten scale. the only reason it is a nine was because i kept trpping on the tent stakes. it is really dificult to try and menuever in the middle of the night with no lighting anywhere while tripping on everthing. my feet got pretty beat up.
tomorrow is owens third birthday. it is hard to belive that 3 whole years ago, we were waiting for the news of his birth and frantically trying to get his father home from the navy... that doesnt seem like that long ago. but apparently, it was. time passes fast, doesn't it?

Swimsuits and Tan Lines...

Okay. this week, Sara got a new swimsuit. It cost $60+. Well, it was mailed and she tried it on and it was too small to fit over her pregnant belly. SOOOOOO, instead, I am going to buy it from her and I Don't mean to brag or anything, but it looks really good on me, and others agree. I went to the beach yesterday for about three hours. I SWEAR I put on sunscreen, but I still got sunburned and got major tan lines on my neck and on my thighs.
Last night we hed a family therapy session. And we are not crazy. Classic line, right? we had a psychiatrist, well, actually Michael's Psychiatrist come and "educate" us about him and his aspergers. Hopefully it will help us and be able to relate to him more. Anyway, I am on the hunt on ebay so i gotta go!

blah blah blah, I know I'm boring...

I know, I'm boring. Yesterday, I went to Disney Land from opening to closing time, (I do not recomend it) with my Mom, Michael, Teenie, Tanner, and Kearis. we used Michael's "special pass" for his disabilities so we got to go in every fastpass line, without a fast pass! I guess we will have to bring him with us more often ;). We went on every ride that we wanted to, inclusing the Nemo ride, 3 times! and we only had to wait in line for less than five minutes each time! Tomorrow I have an orthodontist consult. and another one the next day. they have to re do my moldings as well because it has been more than a year since we had them done. my mom keeps procrastinating because it is "too expensive". Well, I am being summoned to the kitchen to do more chores. Hooray! :(

OH YEAH, by the way, lara, sara, and Becca are all having boys. Sara is being induced on July 11th.

Well, i am running out of ideas, maybe i should blog less often. i dunno. last week i got called to the youth conference planning comitee for my ward. i am in charge of financing by myself (buying everything and saving receipts etc.) and recreational activities with my church buddy Michaela. i am excited. this is the first year i will get to go to youth conference and im planning it !! yeah!!
Daniel gets home either tomorrow, tuesday, or wednesday. Alicia and owen are EXCITED. and then Matt gets home sometime next week i think. Hallie is excited. tomorrow, i will probably not be blogging. i am getting to disneyland tomorrow when it opens to try and get on the Nemo ride i think. Lots a luck. but its worth a try! and i dont know how late we're staying. i am going tomorrow with my friend Katherine. i am going to try and force her to go on California Screamin. it probably wont work. i FINALLY got her to go on space mountain the time before last that we went. it was like pulling teeth though. its worth a try though right;)? oh well, i have been cleaning my chores ALL day since church and now my mom is insisting i have to do them again even though she told me i finished like an hour ago. oh well, i have gotta go!

No More....

Let me see, a lot of stuff has been ending. well, not really, it just seems like it. Any way, the play has been over for like a month or something like that and today was the last day of school!!!!!! I'm not quite sure what to do with my self, my mom,however has some ideas and has just informed me that all next week we will be doing a "Deep Cleaning", how stupid is that?!?!?! (Luv u mom ;) so that should be fun.
Yesterday, for a school field trip, we spent the whole day at boomers. I spent most of my time on the bumper boats and go carts with my BFF's Whitney, Allison, Meghan, Monica, Ciarra, Brittany, Shannon, Mary, Etc. I didn't even get to go on the ferris wheel :(. Tonight, i am spending my first night of summer with my mom. We are going to go to California pizza kitchen for dinner (We have been craving avocado egg rolls 4 forever) and after wards we are going to get fruit smoothies from Jamba Juice to celebrate my very hard worked for 4.0 GPA (that's a different story and very long and boring so i won't get into that right now : ). After THAT, we are going to rent a movie and watch it at home WITH OUT ANSWERING THE PHONE (we shall see how that goes)!!!!! oh well, i have been on the computer for a while and now my eyes are starting to burn. gotta go!!!

Happy 49th birthday MOM!!!


well, its been a while since i blogged last. not much has happened though. On Friday, our stake had an adult dinner to celebrate its 30th anniversary. so me and my friend Whitney went and helped serve the adults. that was fun. then on saturday, they had a family day at the park. so everyone (including Hallie and Owen) went. they had a huge bounce house. and the hit of the day, a giant (im not kidding about giant either... at least 30 ft tall) blow up slide. i was being an idiot and decided to go down the slide head first on my back. really stupid. i forgot to tuck my hair into my shirt. so my head decided to follow my hair under me and i flipped on the slide, ramming into the side of it. very dramatic i know... but i messed up my lower back and it has been hurting really bad since then. i have also stayed home sick most of the week with a really sore throat and upset stomache. im going to school tomorrow though!!!
On a happier note, today is my moms 49th birthday. Wow. 49... thats like almost 35 years older than me. right? ;)

Beauty and the Beast

Well, I can't believe it, but we are almost done. Tomorrow is the last day of Beauty and the beast. it has been SO much fun. I have gained so many new experiences since i have started rehearsals. I'm gonna miss not going anywhere on Saturdays for a while. i think every9one else will too, i have also gained lots of new friendships. people that i didn't know what some of there first names are now some of my closest friends. at least we are going to have a teenage only party - except for chaperon es of course ;) - are going to be there. then when it gets late, the boys are going to go home and the girls are going to have a slumber party. well, at least that's what the plans are anyway.

well, last night

was a huge success!

I've been told. We almost had a full house last night. one of the catastrophes we had backstage was the que people forgot to que the silly girls!! can you imagine!? my friend looked up at the computer monitor and noticed that the lights were on on center stage, but there was nobody there! guess who was supposed to be there... you guessed it, me and the three other silly girls. so we ran onto the stage and guess who else they forgot to que... GASTON!!! so we ran on the satge by ourselves wondering where gaston was. 10 seconds later, Gaston appears on the stage. ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE STAGE!! My sister told me that the stage had been empty for almost a minute and a half before we got there. so that was the drama last night. hopefully that was just a one time thing, it was preeeetty embarrasing. okay, enough complaining. all of the other scenes worked out great and congratulations to all of the other actors.
