The Joys of Being an Adult.

I have been feeling pretty depressed all week. The stresses of being "all grown up" really starts to wear on me. Something I had to take care of today was paying the board for my horse.  Having a horse has added such a burden to my life, and I feel like it's not even worth it because I neer go out and ride. And my poor horse. I am just wasting his life away.

After talking with my sister, she had an idea! Like she usually does! I love her for that! One of her old students is willing to trade board for training.  She has a 3 year old arab that needs to be trained but she doesn't have the time to do it. This is going to be good for me because it will get me out to ride my horse, and it takes off some of the financial burden.

So after an adventurous day of lugging around 4 kiddos with us, I am feeling much better! I really hope that this is going to work out. It will take lots of planning and dedication, but I am ready! Better go buy myself a calendar!

Is this what Old feels like?

Well I think that I am officially OLD!! I turned 24 4 days ago. Here are some pics of me DOMINATING all 24 candles!! You know that you have reached old when no one remembers your age! Not your own Dad Grandma or best friend!! It makes me laugh! I have arrived!! I had a good birthday! I was getting really bummed about not being in Scottsdale at the Horse show for my birthday! I can count on one had how many times I have not been in Scottsdale for my birthday, and unfortunatly the number keeps growing!! But I had a really good birthday none the less! I have great people around me that love me and thats all that matters!

It really helps that the weather has been really nice this past week! I get really depressed when it is cloudy and rainy all the time. But this whole week has been sunny and warm!

We took the dogs to the dog park today and met up with our friends Richard and Missy! They had their corgi Cassie and we took Sidda and Chica! It was a lot of fun. My dogs actually did a lot better than I thought they would. Usually when we take them to the dog park, it is a disaster. Sidda is usually right on my heals wanting me to pick her up. And Chica usually stays pretty close but she will go up to say hi to other dogs. But today they both went wondering off! Sidda even thought that she was following us but she was about 20 feet in front of us following some strangers!! They did get chased alittle, and stepped on alittle, but it didnt totally ruin their day! They just brushed it off and kept going!! YAY! So maybe we will go to the dog park more often as long as the weather stays nice. The only problem is they get really dirty and they bring the park home in their hair, so they have to get baths everytime we go! But other than that its all good!!

So everyone... keep praying for sunny weather!! It makes it worth staying in Washington!

3rd Anniversary?? What?? Where??

Well Brandon and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary on June 23rd. It was a fun day. We started out by going to a NIKKEN total wellness meeting. I know that it doesn't sound fun, but it was very interesting. Interesting enough that I have decided to start my own home based business. I am very excited, and I am going to try very hard to be successful at it. Then we went to my work where my sister was there with her little baby! I love seeing them, it makes me very happy!

Then we set off for Seattle. We went to Pike Place Market! Not with out the adventure of getting lost first! You can't go to Seattle without getting lost, well I guess we can't. I love going to Pike Place. It brings back a lot of memories of going there with my family, and a whole bus load of people that went to my Dad's seminars. Brandon and I did it a little backwards and upside down, but hey it was fun!!

Then we drove into Bellevue. Ah, the peaceful and quite Bellevue! We went to Lincoln Square and saw "The Proposal"! That has to be one of my favorite movies now! It was so funny, we laughed through the whole thing! Then we went to the OutBack for dinner very yummy!!

Here is the sad part!! Did Rachel take any pictures to document the day?? NO!!! I even took the camera with me, but somehow I never took it out and took any pictures. I guess it just never seemed like the right time and place. I am so bummed with myself. I can no longer call myself a true scrapbooker!! :(

Anyways, we had a good time. It was just nice to spend a day together, and not have any background stresses.

Still very new to this blog Thing!

Hi everyone! I have joined the Blog society! I really have no idea what I am doing so wish me luck. My main reason for starting this blogspot for Brandon and I was because we don't really keep in touch with people very well, and we don't do the facebook/myspace thing very well, so I thought I would give this a try.

Brandon has a lot going with his Band, Cold December, so I will post blogs to keep everyone updated. Right now they are working on a couple songs for a label company down in LA. They haven't been offered a record deal yet but they are working very hard for that. They currently are doing try outs for a 2nd guitarist and a bass player. You can go to www.myspace.com/colddecember to check them out! Let me know what you think. They have 2 new songs up right now, "Losing" and "Burnin' Up"! I am always curious to here what people think, ya know? Because that's the only thing that matters right? If people don't like their music, then they need to change something if they want to get a record deal!!

Anyways... I still feel very weird doing a blog, this is my first one ever!! I will do my best to keep this site updated.
