Bird wanna watch the movie - Night At The Museum. we planned to watch either the 6:50pm or the 11:30pm show today. set off from jb town at ard 5:10pm, and we gave out when it was 6:20pm. wad a jam! it started at pandan before informatics. and then, we saw a stall by the road selling pisang goreng :D tat was one of our favourite pisang goreng stall "Rezeki Warisan"! we used to buy lots of pisang goreng & keledek during sch days' break time when we were college students... how memorable =) bird went to buy some and we ate on cars during the jam, heeee...

we gave up when FINALLY reached carrefour (tat time, we waited sooo long & the cars didnt even move for 1cm). bird said (pointing at the McD next to carrefour) "shall we have McD for dinner? later movie at leisure mall" haha~ in the end, we went carrefour and dine at KFC. i was the driver loh, i hate traffic jam. when we were abt to leave carrefour, the jam was as serious as the time we reached :S . i think we were just tooo "suay" bah, hit the high traffic hours where everybody knocked off from work -_-

in the end, we never bought the tickets to the movie. plan changed, we shall go tmr~ the rain has stopped, but the jam came back :S

it's been a few days tat i never check mail/msn since bird goes on leave, heh~ today ard 4pm i realized that singtel (the company where i'll be working at) HR emailed me this morning saying my phone cant get thru and asked me to reply soon as i read the mail. oh... i know it is near... EP was approved n i'll need to go for a body checkup, which means i'll have to start work soon =(

pals~ if u tried reaching me at my mobile but call gets diverted, most probably is tat stupid phone spoilt liao, cos many ppl complain to me abt this already. i think sms-es are more reliable than call in this case, so do sms me ya! ;)

Stayed up whole night ytd accompanying bird, he was studying for his exam this morning. my task is to make sure he doesnt fall asleep ;) he passed this 3^rd paper, i m so happy for him! this is really not easy, he printed test papers from internet and study himself, no books no study guides no tutor~ i really peifu his determination and i hope i am half as determined as he is...

the syllabus is going to be changed in 2007, so he was rushing to clear as much papers as possible this year. left one more paper, think will need sometime to observe the change bah. anyway, congratulations! =D

I wonder when will this monsoon season be over. i hate going out in rainy days -- i hate^{n times} where the rain wet my foot! andy asked me this question ytd on msn : "is your area flooded?" =S alamak... this guy totally forgotten how my house looks like liao. if my house were flooded, my neighbours (those living in the same row of the terrace) will be ALL GONE! my house was at the top of the slope for e street leh... haiz... eh andy, i remember your old house woh~ it wont get flooded cos it is at the 8th floor of tat condo -_- your neighbours downstairs will be gone too if your house get flooded...

bird was caught in the rain after work, a taxi driver claimed tat it takes 8 bucks to send him home from jb custom (where by meter only need 4 to 5 bucks at most). he didnt board on tat taxi (8 bucks is really too much lah). guess wad? no more taxi willing to send him home! this rain really bring big bucks to the taxi drivers leh, they all not willing to deal with "adjacent area" passengers, all aim for big money. haiz~

if u have doubts on why the taxis in JB never use meter? well, i have no answer. i oso want to know who started this and why we need to put up with it. i've tried calling the hotline to complain but apparently it doesnt work, 9999 out of 10000 taxi drivers are lidat, wad can u do?

blog layout changed again =D think this will be final liao, a simple one, neat & clean. meanwhile, doing another blog for photo album. yes, a blog. now i really miss my old blog's photo album function =(

Okay, i have watched the movie...

hmm... cinemaonline site rate this movie with 3 star, i think i'll rate it abt the same. the storyline isnt very fascinating but it still worth the price cos i got to see 梁朝伟 & takeshi =D oh my godness, they really can act leh! especially 梁朝伟, he can act without any line, with his expression... bird said, "his eyes speak". haha, guy oso like him =)

there is another thing to note : too much bloody screen. am i too weak or am i too coward? i felt strengthless when i see blood zzzzz...

It's Christmas today! Argggh~ i m down with flu a few days back n now the stupid fever still comes back "occasionally" Z_Z Anyway, i don have any plan for christmas lah, last week only told bird, i longed to go pasar malam =) yesh, we made it! the rain stopped just before we headed to pasar malam, haha, the heaven is so good to me woh, fulfill my little wish =D

long long long long time ago, when bird & i were still in college, we always went to this pasar malam near my house on monday evenings. kekeke~ this stall sells our favourite penang laksa n cendol. their cendol is red hot stuff! always gets out of stock before 8pm. now we are working adults liao, knock off back to jb oso abt 8pm. furthermore, bird is going for his basketball session on monday evenings, so we stopped the pasar malam outings =(

i declare today the coldest night in 2006. hmmm... mayb not accurate, cos i'm sick, but it is really different leh~ i cant stand the wind, it's too cold! i m wearing a big thick shirt + a jacket, covered with blanket & fan switched off, yet i m still shivering -_- are u feeling the same coldness as i?

mom really cooked those 汤圆 le... =D at first i tot there were 2 different flavors, but mom said there were 4! Z_Z how to differentiate huh? i took 5 but only managed to finish off 4 leh... full full~ i think tonight's dinner is oso this glutinous rice ball X_X... see "heng/suay" later again... anyway, i dont like sesame, i don like red bean paste, i don like coconut fiber, i don like pineapple paste... think i can only enjoy the soup leh =X

where is my traditional home made 汤圆?!

hoh hoh~ 冬至 is here already, it's time for 汤圆! =D

my family has this custom of making 汤圆 every year during this season. ever since i was small, we kids have been helping out in the process of making 汤圆. we've tried different shapes too, haha, how innocent we were to think that those 汤圆's gonna remain the same shape after being boiled :þ tat time, i didnt know why we could only make them in white and pink, hohoho~ now i think it's because we didnt have any other colors bah   -_-

recent years, we have been cooking ready-made 汤圆 bought from supermarket, those with paste inside. after all, i still love those we made ourselves the best =) oh ya~ i never like ginger but surprisingly that ginger soup taste soooo nice with 汤圆~! =O

i saw a few boxes of ready-made 汤圆 from the fridge. think mom is going to cook them in the morning. it has been raining for days, i felt hungry all the time! i felt so guilty for taking so many meals a day =X hope i dont turn into a pig later~

actually hoh, i suspect this for quite some time, cos i always see them online together, offline together, even away oso together (on MSN). and then, last time when guy H suddenly msn me to ask abt a guy (shall not be named here, stain my blog) whom i've been working with last time, he said sth, which makes me suspect him... hmm... he said nothing, but, the feeling is there loh..

the most important thing is --- veetian, your bro is in love, for 7++ months liao! =D wahahahahahaha~~~ so dear all, stop suspecting my anynomous reliable source liao, she really nothing to do with guy H de =X Oooops!

Dinner at City Square(basement 1) Kim Gary Restaurant lastnite, bird & i, our first try. i like the atmosphere, the decoration, simple n classic =) note:Kim Gary is a HK style restaurant

actually i had my dinner at home already, so i just ordered a thick toast with margerine spread n condensed milk and a HK style tea. bird tried the korean/jap style stone bowled rice set meal. one drink and one dessert provided =) -- he chose a cold 鸳鸯 and a borsch soup. according to bird, the set meal was nice.

i didnt concentrate on my food, cos the thick toast wasnt edible at all (i could make a better one myself!) so, i was busy snapping photos of the lights in the restaurant. i look funny, really. i think i've drawn much attention from the others, oh gosh! i look so sua-gu~ but taking pictures is my interest, i m not going to give it up ;) (see result below, no photoshop effect!) sometimes i really think that our eyes are the best gift ever from god/heaven/whatever. there are so many beautiful things that we can see with our eyes, yet cannot be captured by cameras.

it has been raining for almost a day non-stop, i enjoy the breeze, the temperature, but i still hate it when i need to step out of my shelter. many many places in jb were flooded. i drove thru a few roads which were seriously flooded -_- omg omg, u cant see the tyres of the car in front of u, cos they are under the water! i was driving super slow lasnight at the flooded road, i don want to "buang" the car, and there was a damn bus followed damn close behind me =S i wanted to take pictures of the flood but i couldnt, it was too dangerous.

yet i am blessed, i dont need to work in such raining season =D other than being a chauffeur, i can do anything i like at any hour~ heeheehee...

ala~ just saw the pictures on yiilun's wedding uploaded by steamfish on msn group. think this round's picture are more professionally taken but images were resized when being uploaded, thus not very clear =S i've chosen 2 to post up here... why 2 only? cos the rest are repeated. as wad i mentioned earlier, the atmosphere was weird. we never thought of taking any pictures after the event, everybody just say bye bye and left =X

Chaifeng, Meifen and I attended PeiWen's buffet dinner at her house lastnite. i feel good, for being able to talk to each other just like those old days =) the tv in the living room was showing the wedding day's event, hoho~ i like her make over on her wedding day! she looks gorgeous =D and then, she show us a big box containing lots of bookmarks as shown in the photo. woohooo~ there were a few diff style, i like this the best. PeiWen and her husband really very "wu sim" leh, they made these bookmark themselves! Lei couldnt make it to the dinner, she went KL for her shopping trip =X one bookmark reserved for her =P That KahLi ah~ she put plane again -_-" don wanna come oso never inform woh, need us to call her to ask then tell us "oh very late liao, cant make it in time, anyway, go there oso sianz~" -____- there is always such fren who never cherish friendship loh...(haiz)

Caught the movie "Eragon" at night, hmmm... i rate it an "okay". cos it is a legendary movie and story was taken from a game, so i dont find it absurd. out of these movies, i like Resident Evil the best =) Christmas is near and many many movies screening! bird and i have a few movies Q-ing in our list leh, cham >< looking forward to my pay day =S (i must be siao, haben start to work thinking abt pay liao... money not enuf!)

oh ya, according to bobo, my seat in serangoon ofc tat time is occupied. oh no...! tat is the furtherest seat away from boss =X dear heaven, did you hear me? pls fulfill my christmas wish, i need a good seat with good fengshui, so i can keep all the 小人 away from me!

It has been thundering recently, raining cats n dogs as well. i hate thunder. not just bcos it ruined my router modem and network card, also my build-in sound card on my mother board! now i cant listen to songs, cant watch drama movies, no entertainment at all! =S Grrrrrrr...

But then, there is sth really amazing. Check this out. The thunder struck my phone line and damaged my hardware, but the phone line itself was seriously burnt yet working! weird huh? this 5 meters phone line only cost RM4.

Results are out! My younger sister has passed all the subjects in her UEC (Unified Examination Certificate), with 7B 3C, pretty average result. Congratulations! =D She was sooo excited lastnite, jumping here n there, cos she was expecting a few fails. Okay lah, not very good but not bad liao.. but hoh, UEC's standard really drop liao leh, somemore, i wonder why they get 3 hours to finish each paper, why last time i only got at most 2 hours? not fair arrhhhh...

Received email from Peiwen this morning, got this invitation card. She called me yesterday to confirm if i m attending. YES of course! We already knew each other for sooo many years, though she disappeared for a few years and we never got in touched =X I still remember our gang when we were in junior middle class, 7 girls, she is one of them. First, Chee Lin got married, now having the 3rd baby. Second was Mei Fen, one kid's mom. Now is Peiwen's turn. I m so happy that she has found her happiness =) 要幸福喔!

Btw, i m sooo curious that is it bcos 2006 is an auspicious year for marriage or i m really that old and reached the marriage age, why are there so many couples getting married this year! :O

Saturday night, went to McD at Pandan (next to Carrefour) with bird (for dinner/supper) after he came back from OT at midnight. The fries there sucks! =X too plain le, not well-fried leh, some more, i suspect they forgot the salt! wad a healthy fries -_-". Anyway, bird bought me this Unity Bear - "Together forever – 100% harmony", the 2nd week collection. Haha~ dono why, i started to like soft toys. i think my mental age is reversing =D

actually i planned for this change early this year, but always no time no mood many excuse for not doing it, heh =P why i want to abort using windows live spaces leh? becos i REALLY cannot stand it from removing my formatting liao! (though i love the daily horoscope) now is really a good chance for me to do it, cos i m a jobless bum, very free ahh~ but i still drag here n there, until lastnight i 心血来潮 want to do it sooo much, then i stayed up for the whole night and finished everything! :D yahoooo~~~ think i'll still want to change sth, but overall the look is there liao lah, very sleepy now leh... (1:14pm) i must go and catch some sleep le... -_-
