My new Idol?

I nv thought that my heart could accomodate another idol when I already had 2 (Ayumi hamasaki and Bernice liu)...but this is rare. It just happened that I get to watch her play and saw the determination in her eyes. Well, she is Justine Henin, the great Tennis player who retired abt 18 mths ago at no.1 position and now making a comeback.

And to say the truth, I really didn't know who the hell she was in the past despite her being so famous in WTA! All I know was the infamous Williams sisters who had won many grand slams in both doubles and singles. It was until one day when I saw the match between Justine and I think her fellow Belgian player Kim Clijsters (another good player!) that I started to admire her for her talent and skills in Tennis play.

Nv had I been so fascinated in a Tennis game b4 and Justine the one who showed me how her small figure (1.67m-considered tall in singapore, but a dwarf in Tennis world) can stand up against all the big framed power players including the Williams Sisters. She played with skills and most importantly tactics! I'm amazed at how she can roughly predict her opponent moves and her slicing and hit of the ball at a great angle. Her single backhand is really mostly recgonized as her deadly weapon and perhaps one of the best in men and women Tennis and some even say hers is better than Federer's backhand.

It just upsets me how other ppl called Justine a cheater just for that hand incident btw her match with Serena...if she's a cheater, she wouldn't get to cheat her way into winning 7 GS and once being ranked no 1 for 12 consecutive mths could she? There are just some stupid Justine haters who wouldn't stand her for being so strong and talented and are jealous tht's all.

To me, it's just a wonder that I would be so interested in her play that i'm beginning to forget abt Ayu and Bernice! But Justine is a very discreet person and I can only get her news when there's Tennis game around...I have to wait until march b4 her next game! Anyway..here's some youtube video of her recently out from retirement great play ( I won't post the highlights where she lost to Serena in AO 2010 cos I feel that she's not at her best..too exhausted, after all, it's only her second tournament from her retirement, she's needs time. I won't deny the fact that Serena played very well and deserved the win):

Loves her slicing here!
