Wove, Twoo Wove

Well, that's it. I'm married. Last Saturday, 90 degree heat, 5:00 PM I tied the knot with Kristen. Thanks to everybody that was able to attend and Bobbo for not attending.

Few highlights worthy of noting other than, of course, my marriage:

-Salvy Fleener barfing all Sunday morning and having to nap in a gas station parking lot before his flight home.

-Hubbard eating dinner next to Nomar Garciaparra and other LA Dodgers at Cafe Milano in DC.

-Hubbard breaking up with his girlfriend shortly before my wedding. Side note, his girlfriend was not invited to the wedding but he bought her anyway. (I hope he is reading this.)

I can explain. When I explain it seems a bit less disgusting and a little more believable. A few weeks ago, after a Saturday softball tournament (the reason i am wearing wristbands in the photo) I stopped by my future brother in law's house to watch the Kentucky Derby and later the De LaHoya vs. Mayweather fight. The house that my future brother in law (Kevin) lives in is affectionately nicknamed "the Frat House" because 3 guys actually pay rent to live there but at any given time there will be 7-8 people sleeping on couches or the floor. They are always up for a party and the Kentucky Derby/Mayweather Fight was as good of reason as any to drink all day and BBQ.

We drank a few beers during the Derby, BBQ'd and then got bored. What we hadn't accounted for was the 6 hours in between each sporting event. Somebody floated the idea of everybody putting on adult diapers and and seeing how long we could hold our pee. one of the guys went down to 7-11 and bought a 20 pack of Depends and we all put them on. It got weird when girls showed up, including my fiance and snapped this picture on their camera phone.

Well, I finished second and woke up the next day wondering what the hell I was doing the night before. I forgot about that night and that picture until last Friday when MacG was surfing the sports blogs and came across the DCsportsguy's blog. He recognized everybody in the picture and promptly sent me the email above. This was the first I had seen of the picture.

You see, the DC Sports Guy (Jamie Mottram) has a local radio talk show, a somewhat popular blog and just happens to be a buddy of my other future brother in law, the one not pictured above. Well, I saw Jamie at a party on Saturday night and he said that this post was by far the most linked to post he has had and that people were truly disgusted with him for posting it. read the comments.
