Fun at the farm!

My friend Mindy and her daughter Tayson, my mom, and the kids and I went to Black Island Farm a few days ago, it was a lot of fun. Their was a ton of fun things to do. Kade's favorite was the GIANT slide they had, I have to admit I enjoyed it too. He also loved the train, I think he rode it about 5 times. The girls favorite was the crooked playhouse they had on display, we could not get them out. Kaylee and Kylie also enjoyed the corn box. Which is a really good idea not nearly as messy as sand. Kaylee for some reason or another has a fear of slides no matter how big or little they are. I don't know what has truamatized her from them. We also got to go on a hayride to pick out a pumpkin. Unfortunatly, we were having fun doing all the other things they we and ended up taking the hayride in the dark. Needless to say it was hard to see all the billion pumpkins they had and ended up picking the closest ones we could see. All in all it was a fun day Kade can't stop talking about it.

Califronia 2009

So we recently got back from our annual trip to California. We had such a fun time and were lucky enough to spend time with both of our families. My mom flew out with us for 3 days of sun and fun. About 3 days later my in-laws flew out and met us. (yes it was a long trip 10 days in all}. Here are some of the highlights.

Dumbo, merry-go-round, and Teacups were the kids farvorites.

Our YUMMY lunch! We had the Monte Cristo at the Blue Bayou.

August

Wow! August has been a busy month for our family. We have had a lot of things going on first off my sister had a baby girl named Kendry. Kade is finally potty trained yeah!!! The girls got their first haircuts, got their ears pierced, and finally Kaylee decided she was better of walking rather than crawling. Now we can't get them to stop walking they will no longer sit in a cart or their stroller they prefer to walk. It is funny they will just walk around aimlessly like they have somewhere they need to be. We have also been taking advantage of the warm weather and been swimming a lot. I am so sad that summer is coming to an end, I think I need to move to somewhere like Hawaii where it is summer all year long. Here are some pictures of all the fun things that have been going on.

1st haircuts Kaylee did not seem to mind the haircut. Kylie was not a fan. Mommy was happy to get rid of the mullets and get a cute bob.

Vegas Vacation!!!

So we recently enjoyed a fun filled vacation to Vegas. This was our first road trip with the girls (they have been spoiled and always flew) and although we started out with a rough start, it ended up going pretty smoothly. The rough start was we had stopped at a store to get a adapter for the DVD player. All of a sudden I could smell this burning smell and looked down the cigarette lighter was smoking, which in turn blew the fuse and the radio clock and etc. didn't work. Needless to say we stopped again to change out the fuse and after about an hour or so we were back on the road.

My mom also came with us, although she was lucky enough to fly. My mom was so sweet she watched all of the kids while Dave and I enjoyed the the Broadway production of The Lion King. It was so amazing, if any of you ever get the opportunity to see this it is defiantly worth it.

The rest of the time we enjoyed out at the pool. The girls have never had so much fun. They had a baby pool witch was just the right depth for them to play in. The lazy river was also a lot of fun because the current goes so fast especially around the turns.

Thank you so much mom for all of your help!

5 Generations

So recently my mom and the girls and I visited my great grandma and my grandma in San Luis Obispo, California. While we were there, my grandma really wanted a photo with all five generations. I am so glad we got to visit; Not many people can say they got to see their great great grandma.
