Pioneer Day Parade

AND they are backwards AGAIN! I cannot believe something I do so often can cause me so much grief.

Mary playing something??? with the littles today. One thing for sure, it is always a huge mess! :) They are driving somewhere...

Sarah got to ride with the 2 rec teams that won Spanish Fork league. She was excited and kept the team spirit up. Joe took Lucy and Sarah to see Ryan Robison for their eye appointments on Thursday. Both got contacts. Sarah's eyes went down 4 steps again this year and so she has to use the drops again and wear a special contact that prevents the eye from getting worse so fast. Hopefully she will get the hang of them, they are hard for her to put it.

The High School Softball Team State Champs, Lucy had fun walking/riding with them. Gave her siblings some good candy.

Mary marched and played with the Spanish Fork High School Band. She did great, it was warm.

We saw our neighbor's, the Higbee's, on the parade route and ended up sitting with them. They shared their yummy donuts and Heber had fun with Jeffrey.

This bubble Mary's foot is in was from a down pour we had and our rain gutter was blocked. We got an 1.5 of rain in about 10 minutes. The rodeo was delayed and then the cowboys landed in a lake instead of dirt. The next night we saw a photo of a helicopter down in the arena drying it out as fast as they could. So crazy.

I gave this painting to James and Angie. They remind me of this type of love and they have these types of frames and coloring in their house. I thought about selling it, because it didn't do anything in the contest but I felt like I should give it to them. They love it and I am grateful they like it. I want something similar in my house someday but I am going to have to do smaller stuff or get a bigger wall. Haha.

Brigham enters the Provo MTC! Rigby's visit

Leaving Brigham at the MTC, it was hard but we are glad he is going on a mission and glad he is excited to go. The littles cried more this time around knowing how "long" 2 years really is. Marjorie says it feels like 7 years since she has seen Spencer. She is only 8. But we get to see Spencer in 59 days so we will be ok.

I didn't get one of these on my camera. Night Brigham was set apart.

A few more games of 500, with lots of tears from littles still. :)

I got to go to lunch with Brigham the day before, Joe took him golfing and I haven't downloaded those pictures yet, whoops. He was excited to go, it made it easier!

Monday night a lot of the Rigby family got to come to dinner, Victoria was there but left before the picture. Sarah Rigby was at Volleyball camp, Ryan and Sadie were both at work. It was so great to see them again, and we get to see them again in September at Ryan's wedding!

The brown sectional downstairs was hurting Joe's back so we found some new couches on clearance. They are nice, we like them!

I often see this mother and daughter (I am assuming) walking (fast) on the river trail. It always amazes me how fast the blind girl walks trusting her mother to lead her along. I hope I give the Lord that much energy and trust.

Enjoying the last few days with Brigham.
