Christmas activities

My sweet Visiting  Teachers (Ellyse Beatty and Sarah Fraughton) had us over to make gingerbread houses. Didn't get too many pics because there were several "wars" but we had a good time and they had fun!

 Brigham made this for me! Love it!

I am Lucy's room mom this year and we decorated sugar cookie houses and men. It kept me so busy I didn't get to sneak out to see Brigham's party. But he said it was fun and there is a picture further down of him playing with his new yo yo.

They also decorated snow flakes.

Mary got to come this time and she fit right in. Writing her name with a sharpie. She was in heaven!

This week has been absolutely crazy packing for UT and finishing up Christmas fun here and doing primary stuff for the new year and cleaning and washing clothes.....and to top it off out of the blue yesterday I came down with a cold. It has been a while--really long while--and I forgot how grateful I should be for awesome health! The boys both had basketball games this a.m. They both won--Spencer's team went into overtime. They both had a good time. We're off tomorrow after church and other meetings Joe and I have. Hope the 1 year old doesn't freak out! :)

Musical and Art Show

Brigham did so great in his musical: "Elfis and the Sleigh Riders". We saw him both performances. So cute! Good job buddy!

Mary--her's was on display there too but I didn't get her picture last night.

All the kids families came and only 1 couldn't make it, she had a choir concert at the same time. It was fun seeing all of their work.   I got the news today that my piece did not get picked for the 9th International Art show. So I will make prints for those who want one. I may make them into cards for those who lose thier babies.

The boys both had their first basketball games today. They both did great and had Fun! Spencer's game was close and they lost. Brigham's team won 22 to 2. Brigham was an animal. Mary and Sarah did fine watching the brothers. Lucy.....well she was interesting. :)  Ward Christmas Party tonight!

Taffy is always stealing stuff, when I went to see what she had stolen this time I couldn't help laughing. A toy pacifier since my kids would never take one. Guess the dog will!

Brigham's musical was last night and he did an awesome job. I will post the video soon! Tonight is my art show for my students. Excited!

Happy December 1st

Just showing our little climber who is constantly getting into trouble! :)  My mom does a December 1st party/ package thing each year. The kids are showing the ornaments they got this year. So excited for the month! Merry Christmas!

Decorating for Christmas!

We had to put the tree on a table this year. And I sorta moved some of these around later. :)

 Brigham had a homework assignment to do this week. Making a doll and dressing it like one of his ancestors. We chose Scotland. Thankfully my mom loaned us a book about our McFarland ancestors that left Scotland and Ireland to come here. It came in really handy! So thankful for all they went through. Awesome.
