49th Birthday week

i
Monday was President's day so Shawnette took me to lunch. We ate at Zeppe's and she told me to get the hot honey cottage cheese protein bowl. It was so yummy.

I got to play pass at the park with Mary, Heber and Frannie.

I drew this for a student and painted the pic below for an upcoming paint night with the city.

Wednesday we got our first real snow of this whole winter. It was nice. We got it all shoveled in the middle of the day. Heber and Frannie both made $20 each shoveling for our neighbors. They were thrilled.

Flowers from Joe, he gave me a cute pink sweatshirt, boots and took me to Maddox after I got home from helping at Heber's Vex tournament all day on Saturday. 8-5. Spencer and I squoze in a little walk right after and then we headed to Maddox. One of my counselors made me this awesome bag.

My para's brought me these flowers on Friday. One of my para's gave me this cute keychain below.

"The strongest Steel is forged in the fire of a dumpster!" The little dumpster says I'm Fine, I'm fine, everything's fine.

Celebrating at Mom's today. Brady and Iva were awesome and played games with the littles for a long time.

Celebrating me and Peyton and Lucy.
These pics are out of order....\

This is not in focus but we snapped a really fast pic on the way into Maddox with the beautiful sunset.

Heber's team got the sportsmanship award. Yay Heber! They scored 70 two different matches yesterday which is their highest by a long ways!

Mindi Lima brought me an orchid, King was in the tournament as well. My parents came and watched Heber drive one round and snapped this pic. Joe and Spencer took Fran and Sarah to their stuff and brought us drinks when we desperately needed it. I got the sweetest cards from Joe and the kids, and some dear friends too. I haven't been very good with putting in effort to at least try and come up with the right words for quite a while when writing anything. Mostly because I feel words are so inadequate. But I am extremely grateful for the 48 years I have had on this earth. For the incredible childhood and family I have come from. For the awesome husband that I have, for the beautiful amazing people that call me Mom. Their wonderful words of kindness fill me with love and joy so deep. I have had a deep love and knowledge of God since I can remember. I am so incredibly grateful for the Book of Mormon, for my bet with Paula at girl's camp when I was 12 or 13 that started me on a daily habit of reading it.  I am so thankful for my body that has done so much and continues to surprise and amaze me. I am so happy with all the millions of blessings I have and am so excited for the next 48. :)

Happy 20th Birthday Lucy and Happy Valentine's Day!

Lucy's 20th birthday was on Tuesday, she took her companion to the mission home to fly home. It was a long weird day for her but thankfully some sisters they were staying with hung a banner for her and did a little celebrating. Our card hadn't gotten there yet, or her comp hadn't let her check the mail. Sure hope she finally got it.

Her new comp only has 6 weeks left as well.

Happy Birthday Sister Evans! We love you so much and are so proud of you! Keep up the Great work!

The girls had a fun Galentine's party for Young Women's.

Heber and Frannie had fun parties at school. We checked them out a little early because Joe and I headed to St. George on Friday after school. We picked Spencer up on the way and saw 13 homes in the Parade of Homes yesterday. It was a long day but fun. James and Angie were gracious in letting us stay the night. We got to see Brigham and Madi in action. They are selling a home scenting unit for the heater system where the scent comes through your vents at Madi's uncles house in the parade of homes. It is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. It is right across from the Red Cliff's Temple and all the views look at the Temple.

This was a house that I loved called Cadillac Ranch.

This is Madi's Uncle's house that he is selling.

This is from the back yard.

We got to see James and Angie for a minute at this house.

And Miss Mary heard back from BYU and was ACCEPTED, so that is exciting to have another Cougar in the house. So thankful we have tomorrow off.

St. George/Vex/Lucy update

Lucy is doing really well. She takes Sister Gurr to the mission home on Tuesday, on her birthday.

It was PT conferences this past week. It was kind of crazy for me but good. I like talking to my student's parents. Lots of sickness going around, thankfully we have been really blessed. My student's have been really sick.
Heber and Frannie are both doing really great in school. Frances is really far ahead, but still a great student and classmate. This was Heber's drawing of Martin Luther King.

We have had incredibly nice weather still, even though we really need snow I am a big fan of the mild winter. I hope we do get snow, especially in the mountains this week.

I got to take these two to the temple on Friday. We had a great time.

Heber's vex tournament yesterday was good but their robot was being really dumb and was not cooperating very well.

I got to run over to Jordan Holmes fiance's bridal shower. It was so beautiful and yummy!

Joe and Sarah were able to go to St. George with Legacy. Sarah played 4 games on Friday and 2 yesterday. She played awesome and came home with some more cuts, scrapes and bruises. Her poor legs. She is the speed up runner in addition to her own hitting/running. She slid a lot!

Lucy turns 20 on Tuesday. So weird!
