Out of the entire weekend of scrapping,
this was the ONLY LO I was not happy with.
Now don't get me wrong I LOVE Webster's Pages...
BUT their papers are so filled and beautiful, I sort of got stuck!
I did not want to cover even one of those beautiful words.
But hey, 9 out of 10 is not bad! I am a happy girl.
Now for some Tag making.

Just a couple more things I scrapped this weekend.
I made this card but I was wanting to use my new circle cutter so I made it in a shape.
Again not thrilled with it but its pretty, I will use it.
BTW I love that Jenni Bowlin Music sheet paper! IN the brown! *drool* SO pretty!

I bet after that Fiskateer Blog you were wondering when
I was going to scrap the picture?! LOL
Well I did!
I found Love,Elsie Paper on clearance and I LOVE it,
I hope they ave some left this weekend!
I am going to miss her paper so much, she was so creative!
And of course I had to BLING it up a little.
This week Hobby Lobby has their bling 50% off
I am praying Andrew gets home early one night so I can buy some.

~Manic Monday!

Well, Manic around here anyways!
I ended up scrapping this weekend NOT sewing so I have a ton to do today! LOL
But I am happy with what I did Scrap-wise!

~Scrap-a-liscious Sunday~

I made this sign for my scrap room!
I love it, it was FUN and quick. I am pleased with it.
Now to get hubby to put a hanger on my door.

I spent most of yesterday Scrapping.

I made this card with the Prima Giveaway Breast Cancer Awareness Flowers.
I figured I would send it to a Survivor in the hospital and she could keep the pendant.
It was fun making such a bright cheery card with endless flowers,
I usually ration out the embellishments.

It was fun playing with my brand new camera too!
And to end the day on great note, the boys and daddy came home with
Ben and Jerry's ice cream with candles in it and sang Happy Birthday.
It was adorable.

Well it's Saturday and hubby has to work.
So I am making Chicken and Dumplings for the boys and trying to scrap between fighting and whining! LOL

~Good Morning Friday~

Well, I woke up nice and early to the boys saying "Happy Birthday MOM!"
Last night...hubby brought me Flowers, M&M's and a CD.
I received his gift (camera) the day before.
He took the kids to the store last week and let them all pick out the gift they wanted for MOM.
It was all very sweet and fun.

I have a wonderful family that care and show it.
I could not be more blessed. It's a wonderful day.
And I have great Scrap friends too!

Since I was gone most of yesterday no scrapping for me.
And today should be dedicated to sewing!
So far I have made Mario, Luigi and one Donkey Kong costume, and maybe 6 Fairies?
And a good little green witch!
I still need to make a Princess Peach costume for me and a WARIO for hubby.
And another fairy costume! LOL

On a side note. For all you blog taggers, I am not trying to offend anyone
but I literally get blog tagged 3 to 5 times a week.

~Wacky Wednesday~

Oh and it's wacky for sure!
Last night at Just Scrappin' we did a One Hour Layout Contest and it was a hoot! This is not our first time and every time we have a great turnout and its so fun!

Sure get's the adrenaline pumping and everyone has a good time then we all go have a good chat in the chat room!

Oh and yesterday I sealed the deal for doing a CLASS!
It is my first and it will be a ball, I am sure!
It's for a Christmas Acrylic LO, and a BONUS Christmas Acrylic Mini Album!
I am pretty excited! When I get all the details I will be sure to post!
I love doing tutorials and classes so this is right up my alley for sure!

Oh I should mention it will be an ONLINE class!

Well, off to my boys today....its cold this morning and my babies are grumpy.
They need some snuggle time I know it!

~Monday is here yet again~

Its a cool crisp Fall day here, and I am loving it! I am ready for the change of season let me tell you!

Now today I have some fun news, I was asked to be a Roving Reporter for Fiskateers...for their upcoming Nashville Fisk-A-Friendzy, so I drove to Nashville and took some snapshots of the places we will be visiting in the CROP!

Now this LO I have been planning for quite some time, and Paper did not seem to be the right medium for the emotion i was trying to convey so I used cardboard. Actually I also did it as a submission for Scrap'N'Art. A cool new magazine online. They definitely think outside the scrappy box! I love it!

~Do you? Digi? & More AMAZING NEWS~

Do you digital scrapbook at all?
I do dabble in it but most of my Lo's I keep to myself, because they are quite frankly SIMPLE and it costs alot to buy all the graphics I want or need for a LO

But I have MUCH respect for Digi Scrappers because it takes TIME to layer all those graphics and get it just right. For me it is a minimum of 1 hour but usually a couple and with paper in my hands I can just knock it out in one hour!

I know sometimes digital is considered "not the same" But to me it was made with the same love and heart as any paper LO its just gone high tech baby!
And who am I to judge how you want to show your love?!

OK now for that amazing news right??

Well not ONLY is Aymee FLYING INTO Nashville for the big Fisk-a-Friendzy even and staying with me for 4 days but also one of my closest friends CHERRIE is flying in as well! So 4 days of non stop trouble!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YEEHAW!!!!!

I have been wanting to do 2 Lo's for a long time now.
One wit my dirty hands and talking about how all my life people have told me "don't get your hands dirty" and why I can't keep them clean. And this one using the Toby Keith Song Man of My Convictions.
When I heard this song it just SCREAMED Layout to me!
And I so related to the song.

So I finally did it yesterday.

As I sit here Creating this LO I am touched by this song.

~Finally Scrapped!~

I finally sat down and scrapped today! It was the first time in days! I really miss it if I don't get a few minutes a day now...how sad is that? LOL
I have some LO's in my head and I was going to sleep lastnight thinking of them. I did not do them but I did do this one.
I feel a bit off kilter today but I am happy.

This morning they had a chat on Fiskateers and some of the girls asked again about my handmade flowers...so I decided this weeks RAK will be some handmade flowers again!
So Look for them on Thursday or Friday after I have time to make some more!

Also this weekend I will be driving to the places that Fisk-a-Friendzy will take place in Nashville and posting pictures! WOOHOO!

~Busy weekend!~

Gotz me a new haircut, took the boys to the Pumpkin Farm, went shopping for Groceries AND got the rest of the costume fabric...PLUS I almost finished 3 costumes!
~Whew~ Bring on Monday babay!
I had no time to scrap....do you set aside time every day to scrap or does it revolve around life?

I try to scrap every day but let's face it, I have 3 kids and a husband.
No maid, no grandparents close by...no babysitter, so scrappin is low on my list!

Today has been a good day! These Tags I signed up to make have been haunting me because I am by no means in the Christmas Spirit but I knocked out 4 lastnight! WOOHOO!
And this morning i got up and got me a fancy new haircut! WOOT WOOT!

Then I came home and took the kids to the Pumpkin farm! in the 90 degree heat no less LOL
How weird, whenever we visited the pumpkin farm in Oregon we wore hats and gloves and froze our asses off but not here! 90 and shorts! And holy cow how commercialized is the Pumpkin Farm now?? 3.00 per person for a hay ride that lasts MAYBE 7 minutes on a long run!

3.00 per person for the KID corn maze!

And the Pumpkins...holy heaven above! 20.00 and more!! WOW!.

But it was a good time!

I was just talking to a gf the other day about how I am actually Embarrassed on some places to show my work.
Because everyone is so much better than me and have their own beautiful published click, and its embarrassing to show my simple pages and cards...
Cards especially!
But when it comes to giving them to family and friends I give them
proudly and know they will admire and love them even if they
suck because they see the love and hand made aspect.
Plus they are not scrappers!
This Halloween card is simple but I love it!
I had fun making it but I won't be putting it on a site because I
know its not super fancy with tons of
embellishments and all that.
Just a random insecurity. But I think we can all relate!!
That's why I mention it!

So do you feel anxious about posting your work too?

I also could kick myself for putting so much effort into boards I am not even a DT on...I have no idea why I am so compelled? Its time to break that habit.

I am so happy this week.
For 3 years I have taken pictures of my dresses/costumes on the floor but last week a friend in another town close to me called.
And she told me she was at a store closing sale and asked if I would like a Mannequin!
Now I don't even know her very well but she was thoughtful enough to think of my business and me, and I jumped all over it!
LOOK at the amazing difference it makes in photographing my dresses!!

I am so happy and more than touched that she thought of me.
Not many people you meet in this world are that thoughtful and considerate, but these are the people who change lives one act at a time.

So today I encourage you to PAY IT FORWARD!
I always try to pay forward Random Acts of Kindness OR Crafting!
