Tuesday, November 30, 2004 First off, I would like to thank all those who prayed for me when I'm sick. Especially Amber. Who got my blog from an unknown source. How wonderful is the network of bloggers. Thanks a bunch guys. Rightee.
So to announce: I'm BACK BACK BACK and more hyper than ever! Okay. I forgot what I'm going to say. Oh. Rightee. My blog's registered with Globe of Blogs, together with 18,001 other blogs. Show off. Hahaha. But seriously, if you ever want to suscribe to my blog to hear my lame posts or rantings, you can! Because mine is registered with Feedburner. Only I can't solve this problem of promoting. So wait. Patience. Just feel that my blog's getting wackier and wackier each day. Which is good. So with the Blogger team. They're a great bunch of guys who can make my day worse (technical errors!), or make it better (crappy stories at www.blogger.com/knowledge). Oh let me see. That's all for today. Cya! aCKj

Saturday, November 27, 2004 This stupid fever just can't go down. Went to see the doctor today. He suspected viral infection. And I can't go to church tomorrow. Haiz... I really need to pray for a miracle that I would be okay and be able to go for service.

Friday, November 26, 2004 Fever, body aches and a terrible sorethroat. Yeah, that was in the afternoon and my fever went down after my mom forced liquids and tablets of different colors down my throat. Haha. Today's get-sick day. Everyone seems like they're sick.
Oh, and today's Guixiong kor kor's birthday. Some group of friends (BHS I think) went down to his house and celebrate his birthday, while I am here being sick. And I remembered him very clearly because he still owes me four dollars! Haha. That stupid kor kor. Just watched the City Harvest Church Live! Service. Wow, Rev. Robb Thompson was great! He produced an Apple iBook on the pullpit. First time I saw a pastor with a laptop on the pullpit. Its funny. And he gave away free CDs and books! Wow... Sunday must go! He will be preaching a total of 42 principles on "Winning in Life" over 6 services, which makes 7 principles per service. He's a great man of God. And before he came in, an African singer led the whole church into dancing. He's cool and funky. Some people may now be thinking: That's church? LOL! I was really bored in the afternoon, so decided to translate this blog into Chinese. Check it out at http://bluespots-chi.blogspot.com. Alot is broken and the names are funny, because its a direct translation and I'm lazy to edit. Maybe next time. Cya. aCKj

Thursday, November 25, 2004 Attended the "How Shall We Live" Bible Seminar yesterday. It was a 3 hour long seminar with a 20-minute break. Although it is quite difficult with big, theological words like "antinomianism", "gnostic spiritualism" and "libertinism", it was still an impactful seminar. There was a 4-page notes outline full of historic texts like "The doctrines of Marcion" and "The Antinomian Controversy of 1636-1638". Sounds like history. Haha.
Waiting for the 2nd and last session next week. Meanwhile, let's go against the Antinomians! aCKj

Wednesday, November 24, 2004 LOL... Went out with Chiuwen, Cecilia and Yiwen to watch Shutter (again!). Yar, just watched yesterday. So surprised that the girls didn't scream. Partly because Yiwen was looking down during the scary part. But the second time watching is actually scarier that the first time. Haha. Before that we went to eat MCD take neoprint. Cecilia's face was covered by the panda decoration. Ha! Then went to arcade and play. Play lame games like the racing game. Then I keep on hitting Cecilia's car. I won in the end. But second time gave chance to her. Must thank me leh.
Tomorrow got the "How Shall We Live" bible study seminar. So exciting. Tomorrow after seminar than tell you. Cya. aCKj

Tuesday, November 23, 2004 Okay. Just a quick note to Guixiong: Maybe I was too harsh on you. Sorry. But please remember what I told you. K? :)
Haha. Today was not really that boring. Went out with Xiong Sheng and his bro's friend Aaron. Watched Shutter. He's crappy. As with most of the people I know (me included). Haha. Shutter was a fresh new photo, oops... movie. Different from Korean/Japan horror movies. Tomorrow going to watch with Cecilia, Chiuwen and Yiwen again. Its nice mah. And I wanna hear how the 3 girls scream. LOL! My blog design very nice right? Haha. Anyway, the tag board is still here and to tag, scroll down to the very last part of the "Links" section. You'll see it. But the best is to post a comment (see there's "Comments" below each entry). Can? LOL! Wednesday got Bible study conference. So excited! Haha. I'm not booked on Thursday or Friday, anyone want to go out? aCKj

Monday, November 22, 2004 Hallelujah! Finally got a new layout, thanks to blogskins.com! Yup, its a Christian layout, which symbolises a new beginning and a whole new walk with God! This Bible verse from the Book of Psalms is powerful. Because I "fear no evil" because I have God with me! So enjoy and may God bless!

Sunday, November 21, 2004 Wow... I'm really anxious. Tomorrow I am going to know which class I am in. I chose POA because of the subject combination. It has the subjects which I can cope with. But, I'll trust in the Lord that I will definitely go to POA. Because I can do all things through Him. And yep, I'm still confident.
Today's sermon in church was powerful and impactful. The topic was "Can We Have Faith For This Every Weekend?". It is about the 7 steps of faith. The "Every Weekend" refers to a scenario like the Weekend Services at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. We need to pray for a bigger building ya. Our church, although is the largest church building in Southeast Asia, is still far too small for us. The Singapore Indoor Stadium is also small for us. Some people may think that we are crazy, because the Singapore Indoor Stadium is very big. Yes, but last weekend, 150 people had to be turned away because there wasn't any space! We need to pray for a new 10,000 seater hall. Remember, all things can be done through Him through faith. 7 Steps of Faith 1) Desire 2) Decision 3) Asking (Praying) 4) Receiving 5) Speaking 6) Seeing 7) Acting Haha. And now the best part of the day. THE CONFIRMATION HAS ARRIVED! HALLELUJAH! From the Post on: Sunday, November 14, 2004 "The Calling. MY CALLING!" 2nd Carnival by the Bay service today! I am so on fire for God even though Pst. Ulf's sermon was quite boring (not as interesting as Pst. Kong's) But he took the heart to come to Singapore, so must be grateful. Haha. But during prayer when Pst. Ulf was annointing Sun and Pst. Kong, it felt like God talked to me during that prayer. He said, "In 10 years time, you will build a church in the east side of Singapore for the Eastern and Central side of Singapore and shall name it whatever you wish to. Then 2 years after the building, you will attend the Pastor's Course." This shocked me. Never have God's wish been so detailed and exact. But, like what Pst. Ulf said in his Saturday sermon, this is MY CALLING! Hallelujah! Cecilia said that I need a confirmation and here it is. Arrived. In 10 years, I'll pastor a church by faith! Today Pastor Kong received a prophetic word and asked us to write our desires on the offering envelope. He said that in 5, 10 years time we will definitely fufill our desires. By faith, I shall see this calling answered. Hallelujah! aCKj

There are competition for LOOKS. Why don't S** go join that? Next week still voting, but definitely NOT S**. I DON WANT TO SEE HIM WIN. WO BU SHUANG SO WAD? WAD U THINK SINGAPORE IDOL IS? Okay. Many things, good and bad, happened this week. (Including the two which happened on Mon & Tue)
My grandmother got hospitalised! I think it was severe cough but now today my aunt called me and said that she had a lump on her leg. Think its an effect of diabetes. She's too stubborn to listen to our warnings of not eating unhealthy food or drink. But, still, hope (and pray) she's alright. Now, for the good thing. I got a new handphone! Haha. Used this phone for 4 months plus, the longest I've ever used. Now change to Sony Ericsson T630. Better color, better camera and better games! And its free! Someone gave it to me in exchange to my Nokia 6820. Haha. When I checked the M1Shop (www.m1shop.com.sg), T630 was selling for $688 (2 yr plan) and $888 (retail). Wow... cool deal! LOL! 6820 was only like $150 with a 2 yr plan? Hahaz. But the person wanted a Nokia and she cannot type fast... so the full keyboard in the 6820 will definitely help her. So let's hope that cell group and service will be better this weekend. Cya and God bless. aCKj

Thursday, November 18, 2004 This is a church song "Can You Feel the Power of Love" sung during the service at National Stadium. LOL. Its damn nice. And dosen't really sound like a church song. Haha.
Can You Feel the Power of Love By: City Harvest Church Singapore Can you feel the power of love? (X2) Can you feel it (X2) Can you feel the power of love? (X4) Can you feel it (X2) (Repeat) At the sound of the trumpet, We will march forth! We His army will rise! Whatever it takes, Whatever the cost. Our city belongs to Jesus! People arise! People stand up! Now is the time... Whatever it takes, Whatever the cost. Our city belongs to Jesus! People arise People stand up! Chorus: Now is the time... (X2) To HARVEST! (Repeat Whole Song) aCKj

Hey... Surprised that I did not update for 3 days! Haha... I'm pretty much over about the incident that happened on Monday. Life has to gets on. Right? Maybe I do need to make some changes.
Oh ya. The Sec 3 (2004) PIZ (CHC-JYSS Christian Outreach Group) are very active in reaching out to the lost. They even held a chalet today. Honestly, I feel jealous that they have so many members. But God will definitely rise up the Sec 2s! I don't know what's going on with the Sec 2s (my level, 2004). But by next year, a Sec 1, 2 and 3 (2005) prayer group should be up and ready. Since there have been a slight increase from the Special Weekend Service at Singapore Indoor Stadium, then Praise God! Oh, and speaking of the service there. Many Christians whom I know from other churches think that we are crazy to waste so much money as the Singapore Indoor Stadium is so BIG and we won't be able to use up the seats. BUT PRAISE GOD! THE SEATS FOR THE TWO SERVICES ARE SO FULL THAT 150 PEOPLE HAVE TO BE TURNED AWAY FOR ONE SERVICE! HALLELUJAH! Also very proud of those who have accepted Christ during the services, whether Sec 1, 2, 3 or 4. Welcome to the Kingdom of God! aCKj

Tuesday, November 16, 2004 I tell you. I am not embarassed to admit that I am crying now. Something bad just happened. Really bad. I almost got killed. Almost got killed, by my mom. I'm not joking or lying, its true. She's okay now. But I'm really shaken by the whole incident. It was partly my fault and I really feel guilty. I would really like to thank Sister Meiyan for comforting me.
Seems like I have to arrange my priorities. It used to be: God Church Family Friends Education Now it is: God Family Church Friends Education I have already prayed about this priority. Because I really cannot put church before family. There are too many things happening in my family and I am feeling so stressed out. But the church here dosent mean worshipping God, its about my brothers and sisters in church and other church activities. Maybe alot of Bible seminars I cannot attend, but God is still before everything! I love Him too much to let Him go. But I love church too. But I cannot cling on too much on church. I have to change priorities. Sorry. aCKj

First Carnival by the Bay service today. Attending the second one tomorrow. The service is powerful and impactful! The whole Singapore Indoor Stadium was occupied by City Harvest Church. We rented the whole space, yup, including the open field! The open field was used for a carnival (think rock climbing or Escape-style rides!). But too bad we got no chance to play today because of rain. Yup, heavy rain. So I have to pray for no rain tomorrow!
Oh and invited Guoxiang and Chiuwen to church. Guoxiang accepted Christ! Hallelujah! Then Chiuwen is coming again tomorrow. I have full faith that she will accept Christ tomorrow! Praise God! See ya tomorrow! aCKj

1N2 Girl: Who are you???? Its not interesting to have anon. people here you know. Olinda rocks! Sly rocks too when he's singing Chinese. Taufik is okay. He's too emotional. Alexicia: Link me ok? Then I'll link you. Thanks for supporting Olinda and how's Japan? En Xuan Hui: Heyhey. Ok Sly was nice for Jay Chou's one. Better than Jay Chou. I admit. Hahaz. John: Hey brother! Haha! Daphne out! Wednesday, November 10, 2004 Singapore's safe? You wish. Read from the newspapers today (yes, I DO read the newspapers) that a customer of a bank was taken hostage. The choice of weapon was a replica gun. Ok, its safer than in most countries. But the gun looks real enough for a CISCO security officer to shoot the man. Courageous guard. Which they're supposed to be. =P
Anyway, holidays are really boring. Spend most of the days on MSN and doing my website. Because Jasper has not returned me my games yet. Jasper, if you're reading this, better return me my games or else! X( Haha. Also spent most of my time bullying Guixiong on MSN with two of my other friends. Monday, November 08, 2004 Wow... I cannot believe that I wrote last night's blog entry. It was because of Guixiong (he was on great fire for God as the Holy Spirit annointed him yesterday after his prayer focus) that it spread to me and I just wrote. Just wrote what the Holy Spirit told me to write. Hallelujah! I'm on fire for the living God!
Now the fire still burns in me greatly and it will never burn out! Haha, anyway there's still 6 more days to a great event!Yes its the Celebration By the Bay organised by City Harvest Church. There's a funfair at the open space in Singapore Indoor Stadium. Think Escape theme park, in the lines of ferris wheels and roller coasters. We're probably the first church in Singapore to organise such an event. And the service at Singapore Indoor Stadium's audiotarium is greater. We have a great speaker/preacher/apostle with us: Reverend Dr. Ulf Ekman! Haha! I am excited! aCKj

On Fire For A Living God
Love this title alot! Yup, what Pastor Kong said is true, if you worship the Lord with all your heart, all your soul and all your mind, you go around with an "aura". An aura of peace and holiness. The message Pastor Kong preached today was so powerful that I am impacted by the message. I'm ON FIRE FOR THE LIVING GOD! Hallelujah! Pastor Kong preached about releasing worship in the House of God and Your Lives. After his preaching, the praise and worship atmosphere was totally different, renewed. I jumped like I never did before and shouted till I had a sore throat after the service. What can I say? I'm ON FIRE FOR A LIVING GOD! Hallelujah! Some people even danced because we're ON FIRE FOR A LIVING GOD! Haha... I must be saying this word alot of times. Guixiong impacted me greatly too and turned the fire on another level! He was annointed by the Spirit during prayer focus and is suddenly talking to me about God and Jesus. Friends, if you wanna know why I'm excited for Jesus... Friends, Jesus died for YOU. Yes, for you. He willingly hung Himself on the cross so that He could bear our sins upon Himself. Meaning, He took away our sins from us and put it on Himself. Can you imagine the burden. Some of you may think that you do not need God because you have done alot of good deeds in your life, then rethink. These good deeds cannot cover up, and will never cover up, for your sins. Even telling a white lie is a sin. Jesus used his blood to cover for our sins. No one comes to God except through His Son, Jesus Christ. The consequences of not having Jesus in your life is eternal punishment in the lake of everlasting fire. Not perish but you'll be tormented eternally. But if you accept Him as your Lord and Saviour, you will enjoy eternal life in Heaven, worshipping the Lord your God with all glory. If you are ready to receive Him as Lord and Savior, say this prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, I am willing to accept you as my Lord and Saviour. You died for me on the Cross and used your blood to cover for my sins. I love you with all my heart, all my soul and all my mind. I pray this in Your Holy name, Amen. If you have said this prayer, please send me an email at info@bluespots.shyper.com or tag at my tag-board with a return (working) email so I can send important instructions to you. Congratulations on accepting Him! Next thing is to join a local church. Church is not that boring place where you sing hymns or hear a montonous pastor talking, it is the atmosphere, the spirit of a Living God. Some churches which I know of for you to join are:
Enjoy your new walk with God. In His Majestic Service,

Sunday, November 07, 2004 Okay, I admit. I faked the entry time and date for the previous entry. I wrote that entry right before writing this entry. :P Haha...
Back from dinner at Neptune. It was a association's dinner. It was cheap. I'll not elaborate. But alot of people there were drunk and acting like children. Haiz... And they had a strip show. Knowing my Christian values, I did not watch the show at all. Thank God they announced before starting. Amen. After that, in the car, received a message from John telling me that the carnival is back on again. Praise God! Let's pray for no rain ok? Then went to eat Wanton Noodles at Joo Chiat. Now you know why its cheap. :P Ok... That's all for today. Got to sleep now. Got church tomorrow. :P aCKj

Saturday, November 06, 2004 Today's a better day than yesterday. God has really lots of surprises in His hands. Haha... Had cell group meeting today. Message was about how the Apostle, Paul, had an encounter with God. But the important point was not what he did during the encounter, rather, what he did after the encounter. After cell group meeting, Sis Meiyan told us our roles in the cell group. Was quite sad that I don't have any roles, but God told me not to worry, because He has prepared something greater for me than all this posts and all I do is to wait. So now, let me put what I learn into my life. Let's see what I'll do to wait. Just like the Apostle Paul. After the encounter, he did not received the term "Apostle" overnight, instead it took him weeks. I'll do something worthwhile for Him while I wait. Amen.

Had a terrible day yesterday. First heard from Stephen that the family carnival was cancelled. I thought he was just pulling my leg until I confirmed with Sister Meiyan. Oh my God! It IS cancelled! :( At least still got the Big Day with Rev. Ulf Ekman. That's comforting enough for me. But what about the new friends. I'm lucky that I haven't told them about this carnival, if not I don't think they would come. But I'll pray. Yup, pray to ensure that my friends will come and the carnival will be back up again.
Second my computer was affected with this stupid virus someone sent me. Then I had to reformat and install Windows XP again. Haiz... All my files gone. Stupid! Third, Leandra's out! And Olinda's gonna be out as well. Why, because SINGAPORE DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO VOTE FOR TALENT, THEY VOTE FOR LOOKS. Singapore, open your eyes and look at the TV screen. Sly is one of the worse ok. I asked some Sly fans and they say that they vote for him becoz he is handsome. Nonsense. 2 Idol finalists has been voted out because of this STINGYNESS. SINGAPORE, EVEN HOST GURMIT HAS SAID THAT WE MUST VOTE FOR TALENT. Sly has that bad pronounciation problem ok. He can't sing well. HMMPH!!! aCKj

Thursday, November 04, 2004 I should praise the scriptwriters for creating such a touching drama serial called Like My Own. Its on Channel 5 at Thursdays 9.00 pm.Like My Own is a heartwarming story about a mother's love for kids who aren’t her own and the sacrifices that she’s willing to make in order to protect them. After numerous visit to see her kid, Zhi En's mother gradually develops feelings for Wei Jun and perpetually clings on to him. She threatens to commit suicide when Wei Jun ignores her. Xiao Cai thinks that his father causes him to be in this pathetic plight and refuses to visit him for the last time.
Oh, and sorry for not updating these 2 days. A virus attacked my computer again. Hahaz... One of my kor kor is very easy to bully. You should know who you are. :P Went for prayer meet today at 3-5. Hopefully every prayer will be answered because God says that what we pray for will be answered. Hallelujah! After meet, John went to my place today and he was updating his blog. But he couldn't update because of the virus. LOL :D Yesterday went to one of my cell group member's grandad's funeral. It was very dark and glommy there, so I stayed for a while only. After that went to my aunt's office at Raffles Place and wow, security is tight! After that, went with her to eat beef kway teow. Then went home. Nothing much happened. aCKj

Tuesday, November 02, 2004 I'm B-O-R-E-D. There's no holiday mood for me this time. I really don't know why. I'm spending the day lazing around with nothing to do and with constant nagging from my mom to get my butt of the computer chair and start doing something else. Haha... Honestly I don't know what to do to fill this 2 months. If anyone ask me what area of secondary school life do I hate most now, I would say its the hols. Execept for church services, the coming Celebration by the Bay and the Penang/KL trip, there is really nothing to do. Some people tell me to get a job (my mom), but I really do not want to get one. I don't seem to be in love with money as much as I did during the time I was not a Christian yet. I want something that could make my Creator proud of me. I want to do something for Him. Join a ministry? But alot of ministries require you to complete a certain level of Bible Study. I am only starting Level 1 on Sunday! Organise evangelist campaigns? Sure, I would love to. But I don't have the money and there are also age restrictions in certain countries. Any other suggestions?
How I wish that I could be a pastor of my church now. I like to lead a church through preaching. I like to give altar calls. I feel that God wants me to do this. All the while, He has been guiding me to this path and I will answer the call to be a pastor. I am willing, like Pastor Kong, to lay my whole life down (literally meaning to serve Him full-time) on the altar for Him. This is the greatest sacrifice and I am willing to do it! Haha... I'm B-O-R-E-D and its only 4 in the afternoon. But I'm bored. :( ashleybspots B-O-R-E-D aCKj

Lord, please give me the courage. I love you with all my heart, all my soul and all my mind. I pray this in Your name, Amen. aCKj

Monday, November 01, 2004 Everyone's calling me to go watch "The Grudge". Just watched it on Friday. Anyway, maybe I'm going to watch the movie again. Besides, I really got nothing to do at home. Haiz...
Anyway, I think I owe some people an explanation for not updating my blog. Well, my computer was infected with ad-ware and that damn ad-ware blocked my text box. Now, after reformatting my computer and losing my data, I'm back. Hehe... This week's service was powerful and impactful! Hallelujah! Pastor Kong talked about the 5 keys of worship and I can tell you, everyone was annointed by the power of the Lord. During the altar call, almost everyone, if not everyone, was kneeling. And I could see tears streaming down the faces of some people. It was really touching! HOLIDAYS ARE BORING... Let me repeat again! 2 months of hols and what can I do except for going out and wasting all my money? Church is a per week basis and I'm only going to other countries for a week. Can anyone give me any suggestions (don't ask me to work please)? Haha... Oh, and the Big Day is coming! I'm inviting lots of people. Trying my best at least, right Jae? Haha... For those who I have asked (or going to ask). Here are the details: "Celebration by the Bay at Singapore Indoor Stadium" Organised by City Harvest Church - Fun-filled Carnival- featuring an exciting variety of rides and booths - Sat (13/11) 3pm-7pm and 8.30pm-11pm - Sun (14/11) 11am-6pm Tickets are availible at 20 dollars per booklet.
