Time Out for a Fun Day!!!

I took time off for a fun day yesterday. Got an email from Stitchy Kitty Group (Michelle Lutzen designer of Stitchy Kitty) that she would be on a stitch & chat at Stitcher's Village.

I decided to attend and what fun it was to 'stitch & chat'. Michelle was delightful and discussions were about everything to do with stitching and Stitchy Kitty.

The only thing remaining to stitch of the freebie "Woof Spoken Here" is the dog's head. (Freebie available on the Stitchy Kitty site). Here's the results: :D

I've been busy...

working on charts for the upcoming Counted Wishes Festival. I've completed a Christmas Sampler, Christmas orny, Halloween orny, working on a 'Quaker' type sampler, and stitching a model of a typical Blueladie Designs sampler. Phew!!! I sure am busy trying to come up with some wonderful designs for y'all. :D

How Do You Do It????

I love travelling from blog to blog and reading about what you all are doing and looking at your wonderful projects. It make me drool and want to purchase so many things I see. Alas, my pocketbook won't allow that! LOL. How do you choose the project you work on and show off in your blogs? Sigh. Wish I could make such wonderful choices as you. AND.. a very big thank you for blogging and sharing what you are up to in pictures and posts. Love it. Now I am going back to read and look some more.

Stitching Update

Hi all,
I hope your Easter is truly a blessed one.

I have been working on designs for the September Counted Wishes Festival. So far I have one finished and am working on the second.

Here's what I'm stitching on to date:

This piece I am working on to remember my sweet Wolfgang. He was 19 when he died and he was with me all of those years. I plan on just stitching the cat and his name, birth year and death:

This is Maryse Dupont's 2011 SAL. So far I am up-to-date with it: (the sweet pincushion was a prize I won in Mouse's Birthday giveaway. I LOVE it! Her stitching is divine! :)
