Vegas

Mom and I just got back from Vegas. We stayed at the Golden Nuggett and the pool is called The Tank. That's because the pool has a large 2 or 3 story tank in the middle of it with sharks and other fish inside. That's a water slide that goes through the middle.

We didn't take a lot of pictures but here's one more.

These pics came from the realtor. The first is the entry. The others are self explanatory until you get to the dolphin. That dolphin is a tile mosaic that is in the pool, the best part is that you can see it through the window at the bar in the basement.

HOLY Cow

Uncle Dick finished the house in Hanalei that I saw in 2006 - it was under construction at the time. But OH MY!!! it is gorgeous.

Disappearing Act!

Where's my mom, anyone seen my mom, are you my mother!?!?!?!?

Thats right, she was on another vacation. She went to St. Louis to visit her Aunt and cousins. I have already spoken to her once she arrived safely and should have been home yesterday. My schedule precluded me from talking to her but I will see her today.

Nancy: I will try to do right by Aunt Jeannie and take some pics today.

All: I put some of your blogs on my mom's favs on her internet so hopefully she can read up. Since she is a beginner I haven't tried to make her one of her own yet.

Graduation Season

I can't believe how fast they grow! My brother Michael's 2 youngest sons will have a double graduation day today. Brent from high school and Jake from eighth grade. I have to say - feels like just yesterday I was changing their diapers.

3. Who said I love you first? I think he admitted he was in love first but it's a draw as to who said it.

5. Who is smarter? I think me, but he's way smarter than the last one!

7. Who does the laundry? I do mine, and he does his.
8. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I do. That way I'm on his right side which is his strong arm, so he can hold me.

10. Who cooks more? He does. With our schedules, if he has time, he will usually grill me some chicken ad make me veggies before I have to go to work.
11. What meals do you cook together? Weekend meals, if we don't eat out.
12. Who is more stubborn? Neither, we don't disagree on much so it's hard to tell.

14. Who is more clean? We are both clean but he is way more organized.
15. Who has more siblings? Me with 4 brothers, he only has one
16. Who wears the pants in the relationship? Him for sure, and I like it. It's nice to be the girl after the 'other' relationship.
17. What do you like to do together? Anything we don't do apart. Vacations especially, then cooking, shopping and hanging w/the relatives.
18. Who eats more sweets? Me Me Me Me - But not after the gym gave me the diet.
19. Guilty pleasures? Desserts - me.
20. How did you meet? Accidentally, I went to a shooting match with a crush on another person, met Tim found out we worked together. A few months later he got divorced, mentioned it to me, I was still single and that was the end of it.
21. Who kissed who first? He kissed me. Like Rhett kissed Scarlett.
22. Who proposed? No one, we're both a little disillusioned w/marriage still.
23. His best feature? His gorgeous blue eyes!! (me too Nikki!!) They change colors ya know.
24. What is his greatest quality? He makes me feel special - not short bus special - makes me laugh and makes me feel sex-eeeeeeee.

Back to School

Classes started online again, man there's a lot of reports to be written for this one! Wondering if I accidentally got myself into a writing intensive course - oops. Still waiting on Bethie, Google thought she was Spam, she should have it worked out soon. Also, I already got some input from Kimmie, but if we know anyone deployed that would like a care package from home send me their address and give them a heads up. I have lots of stuff still from Christmas donations that I need to send out.

Maybe I'm getting better.....

I figured out how to add pictures so you will be seeing a lot more of them. I love vacations and I am going back to Cancun in October 2008. Had a lot of fun at the range the other day. Hung out with the SWAT and SAU team and got to shoot some of the less lethal weapons. I hope things are getting back to normal for my cousins. Now if only I can figure out how to send you a link to my page?.?.?.?

My first time .....

...... writing a blog that is. What dirty friends I have. So, because I refuse to dumb myself down to a MySpace page I am here on the BlogSpot. Not sure how exciting this will be for any of us but we'll give it a try. That's it for now, will have to wait 'til something happens or I get bored for further.
