Block BBQ and Matt the Pole Dancer

Calling all C-Towners Young and Old,

You are cordially invited to the Block BBQ on the 30th of July, 2008! There'll be lotsa food and here's a good chance for all of us to get together after checking in and at the same time introduce ourselves to the rest of the incoming freshmen. :D Please RSVP by the 25th of July (Friday) to your level reps or for alumni simply text me at 98535033 to confirm your attendance ok? (: so we'll have a rough idea of how much food to prepare!

Oh gosh remember Ah Cai the policeman or some shit? (Is that his name?) I used to love reading those. I thought those blue guys were heroes. I adored them.

Did you know that Qingwei was a NSPI(National Service Police Inspector)? And did you know that he "was" Ah Cai? As in he wrote the Ah Cai scripts. And did you also know that he wrote about a character "Shaun" and that "Shaun" was a robber?

heyo C TOWNERS!!

sorry for the long blogging hiatus and lack of updates. have been mia and i'm sure lotsa you are busy busy like bees working and interning and swoc-ing/ragging/sndcc-ing or going on summer exchange, doing special sem or simply just slacking at home downloading illegal movies all day.(ah HEM, edwin)

anyways i have TONNES of photos contributed by plenty of you to upload onto the block c gallery, so make sure you give it a check!

RAG.
really really needs your help. i've seen them working like crazy and they are like super humans, going without sleep and sometimes food and facing tonnes of phone rejections day in and out, dancing their asses off, sawing, drilling, folding, painting, putting their heart and soul into everything for the float, the presentation, the shields. RAG. ultimately you know its not just about it shields, but about the pride and glory that all of us share when we win and the friends that we've made through the rag experience, painful, tiring and draining as it is.

this year's theme is really colorful and fun and creative, but due to competition sake i can't reveal here just in case got KR spy coming to read blkcdiary to find out about our rag. but its nice! TRUST ME!

you may think that folding scales for 4 hours may not be of great help, but honestly, every bit counts! so even if you feel like just chit chatting or catching up with other c towners, rag is the best place to do it! can be of contribution to the hall and socialise at the same time! and also the freshie dancer girls and guys quite hot lah. can ask sab to testify to that. so if you wanna lose some weight can also go look for her, can contribute to hall by dancing for rag and jian fei at the same time! kill two birds in one stone. :D kk so please go support matt, seemun, yun yin and sab and contact them if you wanna try out your dancing, sewing, engineering or artistic skills!!!
