Steak Party

6kg of New Zealand Sirloin Steaks, 5kg of Brazilian chicken, 5 portobello mushrooms(which were far too few!), laced with butter and sprinkled with mozzarella cheese, home-made Cream of Mushroom soup, 12 cans of Becks and 6 cans of Tiger, and finally, one giant canister of Ribena - That's our first-ever Block C STEAK PARTY =) =)

The chicken was marinated in two ways:

1) Italian Dressing
2) Buddy Hoagies'(cafe run by Chris' Dad, check it out!) seasoning

The beef, the glorious beef, was mostly cooked in its natural beauty with only a light seasoning of salt and black grounded paper and a brushing of olive oil mixed with rosemary and thyme before being thrown onto the perfectly heated grill.

Johnnie Walker whiskey + A1/Hp sauce + chopped garlic + rosemary + thyme + olive oil + black pepper + worchestor sauce in various permutations were used to marinate a few choice cuts though, with results of varying .. excellence. Haha.

Special thanks to Buddy Hoagies and Chris' dad for providing the meat at COST price, the cutlery, the napkins, cream and seasoning.

Thanks to our block and vice blockheads Joyce and Kane for helping with the jio-ing and Kane for marinating the chicken and scrubbing the BBQ Pits(which reminds me, argh, haven't scrub the pits to return to Uncle Vincent!!), oh and helping with the grocery shopping too!

Thanks to Jappo for helping collect money!

Thanks to Boyan for helping to cook even though he didn't eat.

Thanks to everybody who helped out in a way or another to make the Steak Party a success!!

Oh .. and not forgetting Chris, our master chef, without whom the party might never have been realized! (Block C has no table knifes, steaks are damn expensive from super market, and my sub-par culinary skills are definitely not good enough to produce what we did tonight)

Big shout out to our other chefs - Samson, CK, Boyan, Japheth, Me (haha), and anyone I left out; it's 3am, give me a break.

Thanks thanks thanks thanks to everybody who trusted us enough to part with their $12 and come for our party!

Next time, more beer! And hopefully some wine; both to drink , and to marinate the steaks in! Red wine + rosemary + basil ... yummy.

Here are some pics .. the rest are with Joyce I believe!

The goods =)

All ready to chop up the block of beef

Cooking's tiring. =)

Here's an event for the inner hockey fanatic in you!

Happening for the 4th consecutive year, the Singapore International Hockey Challenge 2007 will see top men and women players from (at least) India, Pakistan, Malaysia, Australia & Hong Kong (and of course, Singapore)... They've brought the players here, now it's whether we're going to watch them... The tickets are cheep-cheep! $2 for weekday matches.. $5 for weekend ones..

Of course la.. Since I'm working, I'm hoping you guys would be interested in watching the weekend matches.. either on 20/10 (Sat) or 21/10 (Sun).. 21/10's the finals I guess.. When the teams with the most points play each other? Haha, I'm not very clear, but last day's always most exciting right? :D That day's match will start at 3pm from the respective 3rd ranked teams, continued at 5.30pm for 2nd ranked in each pool, then finally at 8pm for the two top teams.

So.. For $6 (including the booking fee..), you get 4 whole hours of solid entertainment! And it's all held at Delta Stadium so you don't even need to travel far to get your fix of world class hockey! :p

Any takers? Can message me at 96284902, or tag and hope I see it. Ah ha.

'han
ps: For complete details, can refer to www.tdc.sg/events/eventDetails.aspx?contID=MzA5Ng%3d%3d

pps: By the way.. Anyone with credit card to help book tickets?

The DND was a memorable night with Candy taking home the title of Ms Sheares and Kaiyuan for Mr Beautiful Skin and Mr Personality. A befitting title for both of them I would say! But not to be left out of the lime light, another C-Towner took home something valuable and memorable from the dinner too...

Closing tribute to Buaya Week 2007

A whirlwind of emotions swirled and swirled around block c and surrounded all C-towners in a cloud of everlasting love. Time passes by in a flash and makes me wonder why does the clock not wait for us? The revolving memories of buaya week 2007 will endure through time and space.
People, ask yourself: “what was buaya week to you?” This year’s buaya week was certainly, surely, absolutely, totally memorable. There was a spectrum of extreme buaya actions ranging from the most romantic to the most psychotic.
The debris of the past week’s display of crazy antics, romantic expressions, exaggerated love, psychotic maniacs’ rampages and obsessive lovers’ cut a lonely presence in the somewhat quietened block. It was a testament to the fun, joy, laughter, exhilaration, excitement, anticipation and even stressed anxiety that all (or almost all) C-towners experienced the past week. Indeed, it was an eventful week and I would dare say the block/hall event with the highest participation level so far!
I am sure that buaya week would be safely tucked away in the treasure chest of our mind. Ten, twenty and many years down memory lane, we will look back on our time in sheares hall with fondness and nostalgia.

Buaya Week Closing Supper
The stars and moon came out to play, so did Cupid and his arrows. It was THE day where the Juliets were finally revealed to their Romeos. For this one week, I’m sure everyone felt special, content and loved in some way. Isn’t this what buaya week is all about? Being Understood And Yearned Always.
The suspense level was as high as everyone’s spirits as the moment drew nearer. Tian Loong (the 2nd hottest freshie in Block C) started the ball rolling. One by one, the buayas revealed their buayees , and in turn the buayees completed the circle of love. There was much laughter as buayees and buayas exchanged their gifts, some in ah-pek plastic bags, others in extravagant wrappings...

(to be continued...)

Important...
HEY GUYS! do upload photos for BUAYA WEEK and DND onto the Block C Photo Album so that we can use them to spice up our blog yea! THANKS =D

(:

Abit late, but better late than never! Happy belated birthday Jie Shen! =)

A message for Quin

Here's a dedication from Pooh..

Monday, September 17, 2007

The Buaya Week Level Special!

Today's Menu:

Level 8 special: Curtains hang down from almost every door, symbolizing cascading love. Darius has a red hongbao curtain to match his ah-pek image while potato's curtain looks good enough to eat!

Level 7 special: Even the army and CIA has been called in to investigate pyschopathic stalkers, while the short wing has been transformed into a battleground for the heart of jiafen. Arrows, cannon balls and armours hope to blast through jiafen's fortress to her heart.

Level 6 special: Again, violence seems to reign as a sword fit for a warrior hangs outside kaiyuen's door. Kane, our beloved vice block head, received not one ,not two, not three, but many kisses. (on the door,i mean) A toilet cubicle and sink complete with a 24hour surveillance camera protects junhao from any other trespassers. Rishi's buaya is clearly heart over heels for him. Jun Sheng was awakened by his bowl of love.

Level 5 special: Hearts are set aflutter across level 5, as sabrina's windswept mtv photo stares at you beguilingly from every door and corner. Her Salem has surely enraptured his Sabrina into his realm of magic and love potions. (NOTE: BUAYAS CAN LEARN A TIP OR TWO FROM THESE TWO BUAYAS :) ) Pooh has announced himself as the buaya to beat, as he dominates the throne in Quin's heart.

Level 4 special: This is the heart of the block C body, as love shouts at you from every nook and cranny in celebration of buaya-ation.Tat chin is a champion of love, as he has a whole display rack of trohpies dedicated to him. The love goddess beams at you from the front of the lift, blessing everyone with buayaness. As you enter the lift, what immediately, instantly, promptly captures your attention is the sheer amount of danglies, posters and love declarations occupying every single inch of space. (note: im not exaggerating). Walking through level 4 is like navigating an obstacle course. Tian loong, the 2nd hottest freshie in Block C, has a whole toilet cubicle with maxim babes to accompany him!

Level 3 special : Maisha has a whole canteen reserved for her, while joyce huang's face smiles at you when you walk past her door. "If Muhammed don't go to the hill, the hill will go to Muhammed" : Shimin's buaya has certainly brought the whole galaxy right to her doorstep.

Level 2 special: Shaun has a red hairy heart right smack on his door, in contrast to his neighbour's romantic pink heart with angel wings. I'm sure he must be on cloud nine now, floating among the love angels in heaven.

BIRTHDAY BOY JIE SHENG!

Happy Birthday Jie Sheng! Jie Sheng had a fun time being kissed by a.. MOONCAKE!

Days One and Two.

Dear C- Towners,
Buaya Week has started and we sure hope you've set your love compass in the right direction!because the crocodiles have struck!

Block C has been full of suspicious activities, with people staying up till 5 am folding hearts, others staking out just to make sure their buayees have gone to bed before taking action, others using KR as a base to do their Buaya week things. amazing. Maisha now has all the C - Towner comm hall seats reserved for her, and Quin's face, plastered on the orange board in the comm hall with 24 A4 sheets of paper forming it. Sabrina's Salem has made numerous declarations of love and Chris' Christmas really does seem to love him a lot! Jia Fen seems to have more than one buaya (hmmmm..) and Emily's seems to be a little scary..

The Opening:

The FOOD!! prepared by my talented block comm chefs..

Walking the plank to find the treasure - gold coins that determine who your buayees are!
Many thanks to those who helped out in one way or another- especially Kai Yuan for his painting skills, Lai Mun, Chris, CK (for helping us buy supper) and others too..

Days One and Two:

Lucky Chris, had the Buaya Queen of 0607 as his buaya..
this time around, his luck still hasn't ran out (:
Christmas is going strong in declaring her adoration.

Gloria's very own private corner! wonder what her buaya expects her to do there.. hm.

The evolution of Cheryl.. (:

Calvin's efforts.. are you willing to be his hobbes, Ming Hui?

Salem's declarations of love have got plenty of girls wanting to be Sabrina!

Quin on Time! not the mention the gigantic one in the comm hall..

Scarlett X loves Kane so much she wants to let everyone who walks into Block C and B know.

the elephant sings just wants Tian Sheng to love her more than elly for one week..

Love is in the air..

If you haven't taken any action, WHY NOT!? start now and let your love touch the heart of a fellow C-Towner! (:

By the way, if any of you want to make a post on this blog with the generic account, just add me on MSN (bonkiemon@hotmail.com) and i'll let you know the login ID and password to this blog!

For those who wanna have a look at more Buaya Week photos and wanna share what your buaya has done for you (e.g. made cookies, delivered supper, song dedications) just take the photo and upload all of them to the Buaya Week album in the Photo Gallery! It just might be able to help your Buaya earn the Buaya King / Queen award!

Cheerios people! More updates to come! C is for Crocodiles! START BUAYAING RIGHT NOW!

Finding a good song

His friend stood him up. He lost his favourite pen. He couldn't get anything from his notes into his thick skull. Heck, he didn't even have enough money on him to enjoy a cup of good hot mocha. It was one of those days.

He didn't know how or why he ended up in the place he did. Perhaps it was Iraq, or Bush, or maybe the raging curiosity to know what happened in Israel. But all that were inconsequential, because in front of him, across the small gaps between the books, was one of the most beautiful creature he had ever seen. Trust me, he had seen many beautiful creatures.

Perhaps it was the way her head tilted as she concentrates on her book. Or the way her black soft lush hair clasped one another within the blue hair clip. Perhaps it was her bambi eyes, slowly searching his soul. Or the hint of soft pink on her lips. Perhaps it was how beautiful she was without make up. Or the way her blue halter top and grey sweat pants fit so nicely on her. Perhaps it was the sweet smell of her lotion. Or the sweet taste of forbidden fruit. But I think it was truthfully her smile that really made his heart flutter. Nothing stirs him like the way he felt when he saw that lips rolled into a full blossom of candy-coated smile.

He could give you 10 reasons not to approach her. You could give him 10 reasons to. But what would that have achieved? He was contented with just that, feeling like a child again. Some called him coward. But what would they know? When she looked at him, as he walked pass her, oblivion to the fact that she had made his day, he felt a tinge of regret for not making a move.

His friend once told him that, "You only find a good song by chance." How true, and how sad. So if you have found your good song, play it loud. And if you're singing a good song, don't skip a beat. Because you wouldn't know when that chance will come by again.

Happy Buaya Week.

Besides the fact that the singer is kindda cute, this song made me miss my ex girlfriend, in a warm and fuzzy feeling kind of way. You only find a good song by chance.

Steak Party

Hey C-Towners!

This is your resident glutton, meat lover and alcoholic speaking!

What do you guys think of a BLOCK C Steak party? We can each contribute $10 or so, and I'll can be responsible for getting the cuts of beef, spices, and sauces to make yummy steaks that we can grill over our BBQ pit on the rooftop!

For those who don't eat beef, I whip up a decent white-wine mushroom cream sauce pasta!

Let me know how interested you guys are k, if you guys are keen we can make this possible! Some funds, some assistance in the kitchen, and the go-ahead by our beloved block comm and we can have our very first, very own, STEAK PARTY!

Of course, wine and booze are encouraged. We can even order a keg of quality booze from Brewerkz if people are willing to cough up some dough =)

Think slabs of juicy .. cuts of beef, grilled just the way you like it. Ahhhhhhhh I'm STARVINGGGGGGGGGGGG. I'm not an expert chef though, so if any among you have any experience in cooking steaks, even better!

Videos and other stuff

A friendly reminder..

September. The month of many birthdays in the block. With birthdays come and go, no doubt drinks would be involved to keep the celebration enjoyable and fun. After witnessing this shocking event, I realised never mix drinks with studies. Here's what happened...

Always act responsibly in hall!

Your neighbourhood friendly senior.

Star Starry Night

Well the stars surely were up, out and about tonight. And what a stellar night it was...

The food was impeccable, the turnout stunning, the decoration and publicity praiseworthy, the entertainment exquisite, the mood and setting just right, and the cherry on the cake being the precocious ponding session to end it all - the night was just perfect...

A perfect way to start the new year for Block C. If tonight was any indication of things to come, its going to be another spectacular year here in C-Town.

I was instantly taken back to my early days as a C-Towner, where at the seniors farewell a much similar spread was laid out, having converted Uncle Vincent's dinner to the main course for the night, the gastronomical concoctions turned out by the block comm that year still makes my mouth water at the slightest remembrance. Tonight was no different than then, in terms of pleasure to the palate, however this time the fruits born were of the efforts of all the seniors of Block C, with every level contributing their own special delicacy for the annual block C Senior Treat Junior dinner.

And a treat it surely was, what with the addictive appetizers, satiating cream of mushroom soup, sizzling satays, the full-flavored fish curry and finally the delectable dessert of crunchy chocolate cereal balls and ice-cream. A lot of effort went into preparing this feast i'm sure and i'm surer that this effort didn't go unnoticed. With the star-studded backdrop set in place and the block C band's performance sublime, one couldn't help wish that the night wouldn't end. I dare say it was surreal in a way, sitting around the candle-lit tables; good food, good music; good friends; good chatter - its at moments like these that you can almost feel the inner spirits of block C secretly emerge from the walls and floors and entwine themselves in the souls of her residents bonding them with one another and reaffirming their faith in the 'essence' of block C.

After the block photo was taken and a highly animated anthem was sung, fate had made up its mind that such a glorious night couldn't be shown the door without a climactic ending. And thats when another common cause was embarked upon by the seniors - to pass down a sacred skill inherently forged in every C-Towner, in place to last the test of time and be passed from batch to batch - The Art of Ponding.

Strike First. Strike Fast. Strike Hard. Divide and Conquer. The first principles of ponding couldn't have been better executed as the freshmen were instantly left agape from the moment their first brethren fell.

"Is this how block C seniors TREAT their juniors?!!" Of course not. This is how we welcome you to the block, how we show our affection, show you we care, care about you, care about your hygiene, care about washing away your sins with generous amounts of shampoo and shaving foam, but most importantly, care enough to teach you through firsthand experience how to defend not only yourself, but also your block in times of desperate need. Do not take your safety for granted, young Padawans; we are flanked by Devils who will dare to bring you to the deepest, and Beekers that can hold enough water to fill up an entire pond... but after tonight, when duty calls, when the horn of C-town blows loud and sharp - YOU must be ready to answer!

But honor, valor and tradition aside, it was just bloody good fun. And surprisingly (or not) the freshies seemed to be having a pretty darn good time too! Whether it was Emily's and Jie Qiong's inventiveness to play 'possum and strike back when least expected, or whether it was Quin and co. who just didn't seem to mind getting ponded over and over again, the response was more than heartening as the baby C-towners didn't hesitate at all to flap their wings and learn to fly - or shall i say swim. The endearing image of the carnage will however have to be shared between the several lockdowns that took place in the level 8 toilet, with Tammy Lee Kian Tat having to crawl his way out of the raging mob as the nearby Deeblockers gaped across the gap in awe; and the sorry but extremely sporting figure cut out by Li Yong the POW who had to promise the blockhead he would keep his door open in order to be released.

Once again i'm reminded of the block C seniors farewell when I was in year 1 where the post-dinner ponding escalated into the legendary hall wide inter-block ponding that is still very much a part of Sheares Hall folklore. Today's massacre didn't share the same scale, but it undoubtedly carried the same essence. And we all know, practice makes perfect, and then next time the ponding wave hits Sheares Hall, block C will be more than ready - for all you know, we might even start the next wave.

We sure had a lot of practice today, the ultimate test being the battle of C701 where the hordes of C-towners flocked outside this fortress in vain attempts to flush out Alicia only to realize that she was never in the room to begin with. But at the end of it all, the most satisfying memory to carry back, especially for the seniors, was that the entire night's events were taken in exceptionally healthy spirit by everyone alike, and there wasn't a single incident to tarnish or sour the occasion, which in most cases is inevitable when adrenalin levels are so high. It was great thus to see the sporting-ness match up to the excitement and to see everyone take the entire bloodbath so positively.

A spectacular ending to a stellar night.

Kudos to Joyce and her team and to all the seniors for each of you helping in your own way in making this night possible.

Finally, i am compelled to end by saying this on behalf of all the lao jiao's in the block, that after all these years in hall, Joyce Huang, you make us feel young like freshies again

:)

Block C Photos

SNDCC photos from my camera are up! Click here.

FYI, every C-towner has the access to our photo gallery to view and upload any pictures that are block-C-related. Very easy.

-Just click on the "Photo Gallery" link by the left bar of this page. You'll be directly linked to the Block C Album under the SHout portal.
-Login and password by the upper left of the photo gallery to view and edit. (For the login and password, I should inform you all during Seniors Treat Junior event. If not, PS me or Joyce for the password)
-Go to 07/08 Album
-By the left bar of the gallery, click "Add Album". Just fill in the "/Block C/0708/_____" anything thats is easy. For example, buaya week album.... just type "buaya".
-Filling the Title is what would be displayed for the album name. Then you're good to click "Create". Ignore all the settings after that. You're almost there.
-Just click "Add Items" to upload your pictures into that album. Use the "upload applet" to allow you to upload multiple photos. Remember to uncheck the "Resize pictures before upload", if not the upload wouldnt work. Don't ask me. Just a little technical glitch here.
-It should be done, once you click "Upload" and wait. Have fun!

Here's a recommendation... sort the albums based on the event, then the person who used the camera. Just like how Photocomm does. For example,... "Sheares National Day Celebration", then "By Ian".

So, please... feel free to share all your photos you've taken with your block mates.

A New Beginning.

Dear C - Towners,

Hello and welcome to the new/old Block C Diary! I do hope this blog will be a channel where all C Towners can feel free to share opinions, photos, ideas and etc etc etc. Please do make post as and when you like and join in on the tagboard too! Many many thanks to Shiqin, Abhi, Ian and Japheth for helping me out with this (: owe you guys one.

Well, IBG has ended (yay) and I must say that it has been a tiring but certainly fun experience! :D a big round of applause to all the sports captains and sports sects (Le Minh and Sabrina) for making the whole thing more enjoyable.. Block C did really really well.

Our girls not only managed to remain as Girls Champions, but our guys also did supremely well (overall third for guys)! REJOICE!

hahas. ok IBG is over, but plenty plenty more interesting events are up. OPEN DOOR DAY and Block Comm elections is today (mon), IBG Closing is tomorrow (tues), AGM (got points one) is on weds and Seniors Treat Juniors is on thurs! Oh yes! the crowning of our best supporter and overall best performance will also be done on thurs! so be there to witness the results :D

okay.. now that i'm done with this, just wanted to share with all of you a post I made on my own blog a few months ago, when my mom told me that i couldn't stay in hall anymore. Its about my experiences and I hope that at the end of the two semesters, you'll have similar ones to share!

okay JIAYOU BLOCK C!

love from your blur block head,
Joyce.

someone once told me that hall is just another place to stay.

i couldn't help but disagree then, but more than ever, i disagree now too.

Hall is not just another place to stay so you can get to school more conveniently. at least in Sheares it isn't. Hall is so so so much more.

Hall is where you can join new sports and train together as a real team, day in and out, encouraging each other even though its already 12 midnight.

Hall is where people will always remember your birthday and try to surprise you even though you probably know there's going to be another cake in the lounge waiting for you.

Hall is where you do crazy things like ponding (throwing people into a tub filled with iced water) or play april fool's day pranks on your neighbours. *note to Joanna, Mai and Liren: i have still not forgiven you!!!

Hall is where you can go for supper with your friends anytime you have a craving, whether its just downstairs or a short walk away to fong seng.

Hall is where your friends leave notes on your door, telling you that they're going home but will be back soon, where they leave chocolates or sweets at your door just to encourage you for tests or exams.

Hall is where you have buaya week and for that one week you are made to feel so special, because someone is making the effort to!

Hall is where you share the toilets, the fridge, the kitchen. It is where you talk to your friends about your day about how awful your presentation went whilst bathing, where you cook and share tang yuans (glutionous rice dumplings).

Hall is where you realise that you can be responsible for yourself and wash your own clothes, dishes, wake up for lessons yourselves (or get your neighbours to).

Hall is where you can trust others to not steal your stuff even if you leave your door unlocked or opened.

Hall is where you feel so overwhelmed with the never-ending amount of exciting activities and committee work to finish that you wonder how you could have so much fun in a week and not feel guilty for not finishing your tutorials.

Hall is where you can stay in the lounge and play mahjong forever.

Hall is where you introduce stupid computer games to your neighbours like pikachu volleyball and typing of the dead to reduce exam stress.

Hall is where you dress up together and share makeup to get ready for SNDCC, CNY dinner and Dinner and Dance.

Hall is where you have stupid themed parties like Pinky Pigtail and Bluey Pignose PJs party and Uniform Party.

Hall is where you can carry the tables from the kitchen out to the empty space in front and study together with your friends till its late, but yet you feel as if it not so bad because your friends are with you.

Hall is where you share a whole pint of ben and jerry's choc fudge brownie with your friends and bitch over it. then jog together after that.

Hall is where you wake your friends up, and groggily go for breakfast at 7am.

Hall is where you take part in IHG (interhallgames) and cheer like crazy for your friends. It is where you also weep with those you've trained so hard with when you've lost.

Hall is where you meet the people that you can laugh together, cry with and share your problems with at 3 am at night.

Hall is so much.

I feel as if i haven't gotten enough of it, but yet i'll have to move out much unwillingly. I will always miss you Sheares. You have given me so many wonderful memories, memories that i will always cherish because it was one of the best parts of my life.

I will always be orange at heart!

Team Sheares Whoosh!

Always more than a friend

He doesn't know why he wanted to call her so much. He just wanted to hear her, even for a second. But a second always seemed too short, and he always craved for more. But she never complied, she was always busy.

And it had been 3 years. On and off. Couple of girls in between, and couple of failed relationships now and then, and he still wanted to hear her voice. He doesn't know why he wanted to get to know her better. But he just wanted to. Like drugs slowly sipping into his veins, her story was always too interesting to pass. And they always ended up chatting nonsensical rubbish, even when he knows she is no longer available.

Yes she is no longer available. He doesn't know why he still looked at her in ways inexplicable to himself. Maybe he still harbours that forbidden feelings of his. He doesn't seem to be sure. Maybe it was the way she was there for him when he was down. Maybe it was the way he still needs her to stand by him. Maybe this, and maybe that. But really, he doesn't seem to know for sure.

But he knows, deep inside she is always more than a friend. But she doesn't know that. And to her he is always just another friend.

Sprecher posted this to satisfy his neighbours' need for interesting rubbish. He claims he was not the person in the story, but really, who'd know? The girl may or may not be somebody from the block.

Love

I always thought that I had a good relationship with my ex-girlfriend. Still do, but oh, how wrong I was. There are many ways to define a good relationship. And many more ways for somebody to show love. And each and every one of us show love in very different ways, and that doesn't make any of us love less. Or for anyone to claim otherwise.

I am prepared to show my love in ways I know how, and in ways I think best. I am sure every one of us feels the same way, although "ways I know how, and ways I think best" may differ from one to another. And this, and other little minor differences, are those that needed to be reconciled with before we can move on one gear up. Differences, no matter how trivial must be communicated so that there will be no misunderstanding. So that you and I understand one another, why we do things we do, why we say the things we say.

I have had problems in my relationship long before any cracks were visible. And the main issue, which has plagued me and my partner most is our refusal to communicate the problems we had, or the differences we had. Partly it was my fault, because it was so me to dismiss little arguments as childish attention getter. It was my fault, that I didn't want to discuss the root of our arguments. And soon enough she stopped trying. And things never really went any where.

And when we broke up, for reasons as simple as "we were too different", I was as shock as any side viewer. And I took it to heart that for better or for worse, it is important for me, in any relationship, to discuss misunderstandings and to reconcile with any differences. Because my love is real, and I am sure yours too.

So if you love, and I love, for the sake of the very same thing we love, can we just talk?
