Welcome To Our Home

It has been a week of transition and adjustment.  It was great to get home and reunite with our children and grandchildren. However, we already miss Peru and all the wonderful memories of the past 18 months.  Peru was a wonder of culture, and geography, but the friends we left behind will be a lasting imprint on our lives.  (Sam and Else Lou)

WELCOME HOME

After six hours of flight delays we arrived back in Utah at 5:30pm on June 27, 2013.  Witing were all our children and grandchildren.

Our Last Twenty-four Hours in Peru

John and I became good friends during our months in the temple. We managed to always put a smile on the face of the other workers.  John comes two day per-week on Thursdays and Saturdays and always brings his big dimples. He brought his wife and little daughter to meet us and say good-by.

Brother Green, who worked as a security guard here, also brought his family to say good-by.  These members brought us small gifts, which they most likely can not afford, to express their love and friendship. President Cardon and Sister Cardon invited us for dinner at the MTC. They have also been someone special during our mission.  They return home in January and President Cardon plans to do a Triathlon with me next year.

Christian phoned six times last night, so I will go to the bus stop to meet him at 6:00am in the morning.
