Report books collected, some students already left for their year end holidays. Today marks the last day of school for 2015. Ian will be going on to P5B and we are glad that he managed to get out of A class. As for Josh, he will be moving on to P3F and he was very upset because he wont be in the same class as his good friend, Kai. He said it is alright because he still has Jack with him. But somehow, he seems rather affected. Yesterday evening, he said to me, "mummy, tomorrow will be the last day I will be seeing Kai." I asked if he is sad and he said yes. I told him he could still meet him during recess and we can still have play dates together. Then he walked away. However, awhile later, he came back and told me that maybe after his overseas holidays, he will forget about Kai and move on, Awww.... my little boy just makes my heart aches....
I dont feel this sense of sadness when Shaine & Ian's classes were being split. I think because I was working back then. I stopped work when Josh entered P1, thus I become very involved in his school curriculum and also get to know the mummies in his class. We even become good friends and confidante!! All wells, end wells! Though our kids have been separated. The friendship shall stay.

Chinese Speech & Drama
As a working mother, I have missed a lot of the kids activities where parents are involved. It's good that Papa was able to make it to watch their performance. I can only watch the video.

Chinese New Year 2010
The kids have something extra when they celebrate Chinese New Year ie the firecrackers / fireworks. Though it is illegal in Msia but the police didnt really bother.
On the eve, Papa drove them out to the nearby neighbourhood to watch fireworks. They also got to see the traditional long and red firecrackers.
They also got to play with their cousins & have all the cookies / sweets they want.

Papa helping the kids to light up the sparklers & fire crackers.

Day 2 - Back to Singapore
Shaine posing with my father-in-law's new Camry. The car arrived only on the eve of CNY eve.

Ian doesn't want a group picture with Shaine & Josh but doesn't mind taking with the plant!!

iPhone
The iPhone is really a smart invention. Almost everyone is using it now & it is also a good educational tool. I have downloaded Math, grammar, puzzles for the kids and they love it. It is also useful to keep the kids occupied while waiting for food etc.
Papa's Birthday
The kids were excited to celebrate Papa's birthday (in Jan) when told about it. On that day, I brought Shaine & Ian to buy a cake and a present.
Papa has to put the candles on the cake personally.....
Light his own candles.....
Lead the birthday song.....
Shaine even hid the birthday present in our bedroom and told him to hunt for it. Of course, he is smarter than a K2. He found the present with ease.

Dorothy's 3rd Birthday
It was Dorothy's 3rd birthday and this time, it was a Disney Princess theme.
Mel gotten her friend to help the kids with face painting / body tattoo and you can see that she was really good. The kids were queuing up to be painted.
The birthday gal
Mel's helpers drew these pictures by copying from a storybook. They have hidden talents...
Back to blog again
I decided to diligently update my blog again because this could well be a keepsake for the kids. Now that Shaine is older, we have fun going through the earlier postings. So, I'll backdate some of the postings just to capture some events.
