Wow..Where has time gone...

I can't believe that I haven't posted since June!!! Life has been so crazy busy!!! We finally got into see Dr .Gibson the mitochondrial doctor at Dell Childrens in Austin.... So far lots of blood work and more wait and sees. His neuro ordered a sleep study which showed mild sleep apnea and an EEG that was very abnormal. So onto different seizure meds , keppra.... Which has his tummy upset and on a behavioral roller coaster!!! Also saw eye specialist in Houston who said Sloan has astigmatism... But also has some optical atrophy or palor on his optic nerve. This is worrisome to his neuro, so waiting to hear back from his mito doctor. That's pretty much all of the medical stuff in a nutshell. Some good news... We go this June to Kansas to train with and bring home Sloans service dog!!! Yeah!!! We are so excited to finally do this. Were hoping for some new found independence for Sloan and maybe just maybe a little bit of normalcy for our family ( I know, I know... Nobody is normal!!)

As for the rest of the kiddos.... Sydney has us traveling almost every weekend to cheer competitions!! So proud of her, but also worried that she's so competitive at such a young age!! I'm actually updated the blog now on the way to a competition in Galveston. Cash is doing so well in school he's only 6 and reading on a third grade level!! He's getting ready for baseball to begin, which will mean lots more running for me!! Hunter turned 14 a few weeks ago, and is a typical teenager who thinks he knows it all!!

That's all for now.. I plan on uploading some new pics after the weekend. Were gonna take Sloan down to the beach for some sensory therapy. Hope you all have a great weeknd

Where does the time go... I ask myself that everytime one of the kids blows out the candles. Hard to believe that Cash turned 6 this past week. I asked him what he wanted for his birthday and he said...a kitten, and my drivers liscenes lol...He settled for a trampoline. Things have been crazy busy around the Bohac house lately. Hunter is just being Hunter..pool, phone, friends!! Cash is enjoying being out from school , can't believe he will be going to the first grade. Sydney has an awful case of swimmers ear, but she refuses to let it keep her from cheering. Sloan started summer school Monday. Which is a good thing... he needs the routine and structure. Still tons of therapy and doctor appointments. Still waiting to see the mitochondrial doctor in August. Scott has been crazy busy, which is good... it was slow for a while. And I'm just trying to enjoy ever minute of my blessed & crazy life!
