Taiwan- Day 11

Breakfast at this little shop near the hostel... looks very oily but it was delicious!
Our host who recommended us this place..
Weather was perfect for hanging out! Taipei's major shopping area.. Outside Din Tai Feng..
The service was really 1st rate!
Ah Xin's Clothing Apparels Shop- Stay Real
hahaha.. my favourite line..
Our last touring day in Taiwan. It was still very very tiring although we took the pace of travel 1 notch down. I think we were too ambitious and we walked too much. We hang around Zhong Xiao Fu Xing area for most of the day. We visited the much anticipated make-up store that sells all the stuff that's recommended by this beauty show. Then we splited up. I hang out with the guys as they wanted to go look for sports apparels while the girls went shopping and the eslite bookstore.
Met up after 2 hrs and we headed down the road to look for Ah-Xin's clothing store and accidentally chanced upon din tai fung. WAH! SO lucky... 'cos we were quite hungry by then. hahahaha....
Trip was overall, very tiring but quite fun lah. There were quarrels and unhappiness along the way of cos... but hey, we've been friends for a long enough time to understand that. =p

Taiwan- Day 9

*slurp* steak!!
Damn bo liao... pose 1..
Pose 2 Pose 3 If I am not wrong, it's called lover's bridge? Alw with the stinky toufu!!! @ Shilin Market BAD BREATHE!!!!!
This had to be my favourite day in Taiwan. We spent the day mostly in Danshui. I had to say that it was very scenic. I love the rural-yet-contemporary feel of the area. Our first stop was at a hot-plate-steak house. It was bloody (literally) awesome!!!! Cheap, 3 course meal and the beef was cooked to perfection!!! hahaa.... I totally love the feel of the place although it made my clothes really stinky due to the ventilation of the shop. hahaha... we continued into the street market area., where we tried a couple of new foods like potato-chip-on-a-stick, wild boar chinese sausage, mixtures of soft ice-cream. Perfect way to get VERY fat. But the food really helps to keep us warm I guess.. hahaha....We went around searching for the 199NT bag shop. WAH LAU! Really pian ren one... only a limite range was going for 199NT and they are mostly lousy replicas. zzzz.... after that we walked and walked and walked and walked to the new habour. WAH LAU. Damn far can? ahhahaha.....saw su da lue again. The new habour reminds me of keppel bay vista. Very nice. =)
after that danshui, we moved over to shilin market for dinner. We tried the very famous ji pa, some smashed biscuit and the stinky toufu! THAT STINKY TOUFU WAS HUAT! ahahaahhaa..... they didn't get the authentic one but instead, gotten the one that's soaked in a spicy soup. Thus, it wasn't that stinky after all. ahahaha....

Taiwan- Day 10

View from Jiufen
Sharing a bowl of the piping hot glutinuous rice balls..
Yet another ji pa! Sarah's packing again! She does that every other night.. ahahahah
Jiufen- Shida Night MarketFor the journey, I didn't think jiufen was worth it. hahaha.. quite far from city centre. To me, it's just a market on top of the mountain with free flow of pineapple tarts. ahahahhaha.... the glutinuous rice balls are pretty decent. This trip is totally all about food I guess. hahahaha....
After that, we proceeded back to Shida Night Market, which was near our hostel. I totally love the feel of the place! It's like crowded with university students, selling mostly food and nonsense that youngsters like us will buy. It may not as huat at other night market, but the vibe of the place was fantastic!
