I've redesigned the blog and it forced me to post something since it has been about 6 months since I've written anything. I have been busy but that shouldn't be an excuse. I'd like to look back one day and see all the fun things that Blake and I've done together. I keep saying that I'm going to do better but that doesn't happen. I don't even know if anyone really reads this anymore, but I read other people's blogs all the time so I'm going to press on with this one.
Well since I last wrote Emily and Jim got married, I finished another school year, Katie and I went to Texas for a week, got a new car, went to cheer camp, went to the beach (pictures still to come), Josh and Tina came to visit, Em and Jim moved to town, went to Texas again for my girls weekend (didn't take a single picture. Who am I?), bought a boat (What??) went to the lake with the family and made it through almost 5 weeks of school. It doesn't sound like I've been busy but I really have.
We didn't do any major renovations to the house this summer besides get a new roof. I guess it's safe to call yourself an adult when you get excited about your insurance company paying for a new roof. I sometimes wonder if it will be the last major thing we do to our house... It probably won't be though. We don't need to move or want to but we don't want to do too much to the house just in case we want to move some day. The house next door to us finally sold after being on the market for like 10 months. I just like looking at houses online. I'm sure it will get us into trouble one day. Oh well... that day isn't here yet.
This is the most random post. I'm still trying to decide if I will try to play catch-up with all the pictures I have. I probably will. I'm at school right now. We have Parent-Teacher conferences tonight and I have to stay until 8. I don't have any scheduled and I'm caught up on grading. So you will probably be inundated with lame picture posts tonight. Nothing terribly interesting or controversial... so don't get your hope up.
I'll leave you with a few pics from Em and Jim's beautiful wedding that was all the way back in April.

Where has the time gone?
Has it really been seven months since I've blogged. Yes. Yes, it has. Blake has blogged but I don't really count that. I've been busy. Really busy. Cheerleading kept me busier than I thought it would. Practice and 2 games twice a week makes for not much time at home. The cleanliness of our house suffered, Blake and I at out A LOT (My MyPanera card had a free goody on it practically every single time we went), I barely exercised, never cooked, bought my lunch every day, and was just generally tired.
Cheerleading is over (for the year) and BOY have things changed. The house has returned to its (mostly) clean glory days. We only eat out on the weekends. I cook Sunday-Thursday... Therefore I spend tons of money at Publix, which results in yummy leftovers for lunch everyday. I have no free items on my MyPanera card. I'm exercising every day during the week (sometimes at 5:15am). I'm getting at least 8 hours of sleep a night. Things are returning back to normal.
Spring Break seems like a million years ago. We were able to go on a cruise to Mexico with some of our good friends. We had a blast. I was semi-sick (drainage, sore throat, coughing) for the whole week so I didn't feel like eating myself into an oblivion like Blake did. It was a wonderful week of food, friends, sun and salty air. I came back ready to face the 10ish weeks until summer.
Blake's sister Emily is getting married next weekend (the 9th) so I'll have tons of pictures to share after the wedding. I'll leave you with a few pictures from the cruise. Yes... I'm trying to make you jealous.
