Day 21 - Candy cane a parking lot

We hit the Kohls parking lot to put candy canes on cars. The kids really wanted to say and watch all of the people walk out to see their reaction.

Day 17 - See some gingerbread houses

The Norway house had a cool display of gingerbread houses. There were regular ones as well as famous Minneapolis and St. Paul landmarks. The kids want to enter one for display next year.

Day 16 - Camp by the Christmas tree

A yearly favorite.

Day 15 - Play Christmas pictionary

We also finally made peanut butter Hershey kiss cookies and rolled out the dough for the sugar cookies.

Day 14 - Donate to charity

We all decided where we would each like to give this year's donations.

Day 13 - See your cousin's Christmas show and grab hot chocolate

We headed up to Fridley to see James' show. He did a great job up on stage singing. After, we stopped at Caribou for hot chocolate.

Day 12 - Make cotton candy

Thanks to grandma and grandpa, we had this cotton candy maker to try out. It worked. Ezra was definitely most pumped about it.

Day 11 - Make Christmas cookies

Well, Sam only got the batter made. We ran out of time in the day. As of today (Tuesday) it's still waiting for us in the fridge. However, we did make some quick sugar cookies yesterday. Hopefully tomorrow or Thursday night.

Day 10 - See a holiday train

Very cold! Only stayed for a couple of songs. This time the train was in St. Louis Park instead of St. Paul.

U of M engineering students. Very cool but cold!

Well, it's not chewy, but it tastes like caramel.

We didn't get to the big tree, but did decorate the little ones and got out the decorations.

Day 3 - Take an art class

Rum River Art Center in Anoka. We all drew penguins.

Day 2 - Start a puzzle

We didn't get very far, and Bailey chewed up one of the pieces.

Well, in the midst of illness, we managed to kick off the December count down.

We are back to school, everyone for full days, Sam has a new job he started today, new car (corolla finally died) and a puppy coming soon.

11 years old!

So this guy is 11 years old today! How did that happen? He is fresh home from camp (late last night) which he really seemed to enjoy.

Now we're having birthday bagels.
