Days 5 - 11

Day 5 - See a Live Nativity

This was at a church in Bloomington. Quite the line. We caravanned with the Weis family.

Day 6 - Write Your Own Christmas Poem

Everyone (except for me) wrote a Christmas poem. Everyone read it for each other that night. (A side note... Ivy used hers for one of her independent reading assignments this week. Her teacher accused her of using someone else's work and told her to try again. Seriously!?!?)

Day 7 - Try an Online Mission

We did a 15 minute finders seekers challenge.

Day 8 - Make a Foot Reindeer

Day 9 - Enjoy a Cup of Tea

Day 10 - Paint a Holiday Gnome

Day 11 - Visit the State Fair

15-year Old Driver

Well, I missed the birthday post.

It was a pretty usual day. We had donuts in the morning and then we went to Frankies in the rain for dinner. Then, we headed to Big Willow to watch Ezra play in the Majors championship game (against Roman who was called up for the other team). Ezra won.

Then home for cake (grandma Blacks cake) and presents.

And, a week and a few days later - this happened. He hasn't wanted to drive yet.

12 Years Old!

Happy Birthday to Ezra.

We celebrated the day mostly at home. We had donuts, played some Monopoly and then went out to eat at a park - Blaze pizza and Noodles take-out.
Then, it was off to baseball.
Friday night he will celebrate with friends by having a camp-out in the backyard - COVID style.

Happy Birthday. Love you Ezra!

Happy Birthday to Roman and Ivy

9 years old already!

Here's a picture of their last night as 8-year-olds. Playing Skipbo.

And, here they are enjoying birthday donuts.

I'm planning to go eat lunch with them at school in an hour. We'll be going out to eat as a family tonight and then to grandma and grandpa's for brownies.

Days 19-25

This year was nuts! Sickness, sadness and lots of stress. We ended up not being able to do a lot of these. I'll have to fill in a picture down the line if I have one.

Day 19 - Make Edible Christmas Trees (did it)

Day 20 - Candy Cane a Parking Lot (still have the candy canes)

Day 21 - Ring a Bell (some did it, got a picture of all there)

Day 22 - Visit the Holidazzle (didn't do it)

Day 23 - Watch Charlie Brown Christmas (maybe did it?)

Day 24 - Rejoice and Go to Church (all but Ezra and Daddy :()
