Blackbird bags at ARTish & Special giveaway

Hello friends! How are you? It was a while since I blogged, but I was away. Went sailing. It was great and I will blog all about it some other day. 

If you don't have plans for this Saturday, you can come to ARTish from 9am till 7pm. I will be there and I'll have a super special giveaway for you. Wanna know more? Keep reading! 

In this bag I have 3 things to give away for one of you! Wanna know what's in it? 1 key chain, 1 metal frame coin purse and two sided bag. All in polka dots cotton fabric. My favourite.

Rules are very simple:

1. Take a photo with one of my bags, email it to me at blackbird.bags@gmail.com

2. For those of you who don't have any of my items, come to ARTish, take a photo there

3. I will post all photos in this album where you can like & share it (1 like will give you 1 point, 1 share will give you 2 points)

4. The winner is whoever gets the most points

5. Giveaway starts as soon as I upload all photos (hopefully on Sunday) and lasts until July the 5th

6. I will announce the winner on blog, FB as well as e-mail you

This Saturday, September 29th ARTish will be held for the last time.

Just joking! This Saturday is the last time it will be held ouside in the center of Ljubljana. From October until April it will be held indoors in Kina Šiška. It's the last time this year I will be exhibiting and selling my bags. I have been a part of ARTish from June and I need a break. This Saturday will be the last time you can see and buy my bags directly from me. But no worries my Etsy shop will be open 24/7 and you can contact me whenever you like via email

I have a few new things to show you. First are short key chains. At first I only made long ones. Long enough to be worn around the neck, but then I was asked if I could make short ones too, so I did. Here they are:

A friend of mine had great idea and it turned out everyone wants one too. What is it? Key chain and a little bag for service card one uses at work. I don't use service card at my day job, but it's practical for Urbana as well.

Christmas will be here before you know it and I made drawstring bags that are wery practical for small gifts. They are very easy to make and if my photographic skills were any good I would make a tutorial for you.

A few members at Etsy Success team mentioned I should also sell pencil cases and a few days lates one of my friends also told me he wants a pencil case. So I made them :)) Those can be used as a cosmetic pouch too.

I have a lot of coin purses. Both zipper coin purses 

and very popular metal frame coin purses.

and metal frame clutches, cosmetic pouches, handbags, shoulder bags, cotton shoping bags. A lot more than I can show you in this post. If that didn't give you enough motivation to come and say hi at ARTish, well what if I tell you I will be having a few things as a giveaway? I'm not telling what, come and see ;-)

A few impressions from ARTish

Once again at ARTish you could see a lot of lovely stuff from Slovenian artists. Take a tour with me and see what we had to offer:

Amazing things, don't you think? I had to buy something for myself as well. This lovely turquoise brooch. Beautiful, isn't it?

My stall was right in front of dog friendly hotel :)

I was totally exhausted when I got home at 9PM, but nevertheless it was absolutly fantastic day!

You can find me and my bags this Saturday all day long in Ljubljana's Gornji trg. Besides me there will be about 50 Slovenian artists, seeling their work. More about ARTish HERE and HERE are photos from event in June so you can drool over some pretty amazing work :))

Productive week

I haven't been blogging much lately, have I? So, what's happening? Am I

1) dead? No, not yet :)
2) on vacation? Oh, I wish....
3) lazy? Yes, from time to time, especially when it's to hot to think, let along sew.
4) very busy. Yes, that me :)

Since I came back from Spain an brought some really nice fabric, I had to cut into it. I made not one, but three handbags. The one on the top with red embroidery is my favourite one.

Impressions from ARTish

It was a hot wekend and especially Saturday when ARTish - local Art Fair was held. Temperatures were up to 35 degrees Celsius (95 degrees Farenheit)! But other than that it was great! Wonderful people, amazing atmosphere.

I am thankfull to my friend Tanja and my mum for jumping in and looking after my stall for a bit so I could walk around other stalls, chat to other artists and take photos.
