Catching up with 'old' fren
Everyone is busy with their own work and stuff lately... some with their IA commitments, some with their busy academic schedule. Just havent got the time to meet up with most of my frens nowadays..i'm not the busy one i guess.. haha. It can never be my fault rite? :P
ANyway, today managed to catch up with one of them. Had an interesting chit chat and its nice to learn of other ppl's development. It's all good news so tats definitely positive. :) Maybe its been a long time since we had a nice chit chat so i guess we really chatted quite a bit. In fact it ended up me talking more.... haha.. Wow.. how rare can tat be..me..... the one doing most of the talking...time to strike 4d? LOL
So it was a nice chit chat and catching up with a fren. Wish i can meet up with more frens whom i've not met for quite some time..... Hope everyone's in good health, mood and luck!
PS: I think i'm posting just randomly... nothing interesting happening in my life.. geez... interesting experiences.. where are u!!! life's boring nowadays
The ups, the downs and the mundane.....
Havent't been blogging for months.... guess its either i dun have the time, the energy or the motivation to do it for the past 2-3 months. Well, its been nothing much really... i enjoyed my ups in december n early january when I was participating in the Inter-Hall Games. Worked esp hard this year for the games and I'm glad with the results..... a gold, a silver, one semi-final and one quarter-finals appearance. Overall, this has been the period of time when I've participated in hall activities the most.
Starting from mid-jan however, life began to go downhill for me.... my foot which had been hurting since early dec was getting more n more swollen n painful. Guess i really ignored that for too long... only decide to visit the doc after CNY break.. on 3 feb... that's when my mood really start to turn bad. A look at my foot prompted the doc to shake his head in disapproval....All he did was asking how long have i had that(ie the thing on my foot)...i kindly replied..."more than a month"..... The next lines kinda struck me..."Those are viral warts and yours is really big. You will need an excision to cut out the part but for now.. we'll have to take care of the smaller ones first..." A surgery? WTF!!! and so i was sent to the treatment room and wat followed was a series of treatment using liquid nitrogen to freeze the warts and small knife to cut them out bit by bits. As a result i couldn't wear shoes for 2 weeks....
Finally on Tues 14 feb.. i got my V-day present. The excision surgery to cut out the big wart.... the main source of my agony all along.... It was a painful experience mainly due to the administering of anaesthetics... It was really painful when they inject the anaesthetic.. esp its right into your sole of the foot....A striking, sharp pain.. wat a sensation.. luckily i managed to control my reaction.. otherwise the needle might have broken and remain stuck in my foot.. at least tats wat the nurse said.... So now, i'm hoping m,y foot can recover ASAP because i will miss out on a lot of sports, etc... as i'm writing this blog now.. the rest of my hostel mates are enjoying their nite cyclng ride to ECP.. I had wanted to join them so much but for the sake of my foot.. i had no choice but to give up.... My mood dropping even further down.....
Nowadays too my life is getting more n more mundane....with the choice of sports taken out of my life.... I have nothing else but boredom for company....Doing my IA means i have specific lifestyle during the day... at nite.. i only wtch animes, dramas and entertainment shows on my comp...its really starting to get to my head....I dun like the lifestyle i'm leading now and i can't wait for my foot to recover so that i can start doing sth more healthy in the nite.... I miss all the trainings and games......
