New room = enjoyment?
Finally i've shifted into my new room! Yup! a single room that i can have all to myself! I can play my songs etc without having to worry about disturbiing others, watch the shows that i want at anytime and do anything i want without considering too much for a roomate! BUT apparently my wishes must wait.... for now, my speakers are spoilt so i cannot play any music loudly... can only depend on my earphones...... and best of all, the very 1st nite i stay in the room, the ceiling fan broke down!! How brilliant!! First nite and i gotta endure a windless and fanless stay!! Tough luck indeed!! Now i can only hope for the new fan to be installed ASAP and deliver me from this suffering that i'm currently experiencing!!

End of EID... beginning of holidays?
Finally EID is over. I dunno y... but somehow our group managed to get a Merit prize.. hahaha. 200 bucks.. and it was spent in just an hour.. a sumptuous meal at Fish n Co! hahah I think it's a fair reflection of our effort and also the quality of our idea compared to some other groups.. although the winner's were quite unexpected.. oh well... it's over anyway.
Now that EID is over, it's time to plan my timetable n register for my subjects next semester.... and it's very annoying indeed! Having lessons from 8.30am and ending onlylate in the afternoon.... Choosing which elective to take is also another headache... gotta be something tat i like,.. and yet, fits into the timetable.. sigh...Hopefully everything will go smoothly on Thurs then i can go home with a better mood! hehe

Gatherings, celebrations and surprises
Last Sunday, my football team Western Redjacks had our annual dinner after our match at Marina. Come to think about it, the team is now 2 years old and i've been part of this team for almost a year. Really lucky to meet all of my teammates who are all fun loving and friendly. Gotta thank my fren Jun Liang for pulling me into this team. I enjoyed all the games be it a win or a loss. I can sense that everyone are ppl who truly enjoy the game and i certainly hope to be part of the team for a long time to come! Also, hope to score goals for the team la.. hahah
On Monday, I had a 'surprise'.... partly coz someone let the cat out of the bag.. haha. Apparently my JC frens had planned a surprise birthday celebration for me... but some miscommunication resulted in me knowing about it just 20 minutes b4 the actual time they had in mind.. haha. Nonetheless, I'm really touched when i saw about 8 of them appearing at my doorstep with the huge birthday cake! A huge chocolate cake , my favourite! heheh thanx a lot ppl!! Really glad to see some of them whom i've not met for a long long time and on top of all, they actually made the trip to NTU..... the damned deserted place.. haha. I really appreciate it a lot!! After that we went to Swensens to have a nice dinner and have a good chit chat. Catching up with everyone and crapping.. haha I really had a good time ya!! Thanx once again to XYZ, SH, VV, Victor, Chuan Kai, Wei wei, HJ, FC, Siong Thye, xiao luo, and mijack! Although when i return to my room i discovered that XYZ actually changed my nick in MSN... i shall forgive him.. hahah...
On TUe, I received a call from my sis, wishing me Happy Birthday on behalf of everyone in my family.. after tat had a nice 'chat' with my nephew over the phone.. hahah.. A conversation with a one year old.. u can imagine...Although i almost went deaf, I'm still very happy to hear his voice!! hehe Cute kid indeed. can't wait to get back and play with him!
Later in the evening, I had dinner with Bert, JM n Steph at Cafe Cartel, city hall. Frens since secondary school, they are one most the most crappy bunch that i've known. Siao cha bors and siao ta po(refering to Bert only) hahaa. The 2 siao char bors are coming to NTU and will be my JUNIOR.. haha feels weird coz we've been frens for so long and suddenly i'm their senior....After diner, we went to their home for some vodka, mahjong and bridge. Din really play for long coz they gotta work the next day... but nonetheless, it's great to catch up with them. Although everyone is in Spore, it's just so hard to meet up. Shall give them a warm welcome when they come to NTU.. as for helping out in shifting into hall.. we'll see.. wahahaha
The following day, upon arriving back to my room, I checked the result for hostel application. Luckily nth went wrong.. I got my single room that i wanted!! yay!! Finally i can enjoy the taste of having a hostel room to myself.. haha. But then again, i'll have a hard time moving my stuff! Heck... will think about it when the time comes...haha Going on to year 3 of my uni life... suddenly i realise.. i've completed half of my course... time really flies! Shall cherish the next 2 years....

Elections, guitar, Esplanade..
Yesterday attended my CCA(RSPHI)'s election for the new coordinator and centreheads.... come to think of it, i's almost 2 years since i'm in the club... Had much fond memories with my frens there... but now much things have changed. Come July 2005, i'll be promoted to 'grand senior' level.. haha.. probably will cut down on my involvement in the activities... Most of my peers are moving on.. some will graduate, some will go overseas, some will try out other ccas instead. As for me, i still have no idea wat to do... but i guess if i'm to stay, i'll be just going for tuition and nth else. I dunno the juniors well and my peers or dear seniors are mostly gone too... but i guess tat's wat life's all about.....Ppl are like travellers in this world... we came from different places from different backgrounds, meet, and after some time , we'll each get on with our own journey. Meeting, bonding and separation... i guess it's just part n parcel in life. No one's gonna stay together forever(except for that special one of coz) but we can still meet up every now n then i hope... same things goes for my secondary and JC frens who i've not met for a long time..
Yesterday too had quite a lot of fun after the elections. Most of us had lunch together but as usual, we were aimless after tat... dunno wat to do, where to go. We parted into smaller groups and each groups went their own way.... 30+ ppl going somewhere together is just not feasible i guess. As for my group, we went to Bras Basah because RP had the urge to buy a guitar.... As we browse around the shop, i saw quite a few instruments tat i wish i could have learned when i was young.... flute, piano/keyboard/organ, and guitar. I think it's really good if you know how to play a certain musical instrument... can play all the songs/melody that u like, anytime u want.(of coz must see the place and situation also la) ... I gave up the chance when i was young so now i can only hum the songs/melody.. haha it's really sad case rite? Now that i'm 20+ years old... i dun think i hav the courage to go and learn anymore... although i wish i can... excuses like "i have no time" and "I have no talent" (ok.. this wan maybe is a fact) always come to mind... Anyway, i'm glad for RP coz she got her wish and really bought a new guitar. Hope she'll be able to master the instrument and play the music she like. Shall demand for my centrehead to perform for us in time to come! haha
Also went to Esplanade in the evening.... sat down n chit chatted for quite a long time.. very enjoyable esp teasing my buddy CL.. hahah think he was very helpless but then again, he dun get to be teased everyday also wat. So, nvm la... let us have our fun.. haha. I know he's happy too.. esp after someone's arrival.... :P JJ drew a cute crab along the pathway outside Esplanade and i took some pics of it.. another memorable day to remember.... had some great live music to enjoy as we sat at the stairs and enjoyed the view.... Dark skies, brightly lit skyscrapers, Fullerton Hotel, and the river.... except for one thing... no wind! haha.. yeah.. it was rather hot indeed. After tat, had dinner at 9pm at marina sq with CH, MF, CL n Cor...... chit chatted quite a lot.. and some old gossips also.. haha... overall it was a fun n tiring day..... ^_^
