More Pictures

The house is coming along good. We should be in by the end of the month. It's all up to Brady now. He is pretty much doing the rest of it so we'll see. It's looking good. I'll have to get a picture of the front when all the siding is on. Hopefully it's all on by Monday.

Baine's Blessing

We blessed Baine on September 5th. Grandpa Brooks blessed him. He was a little late because he got the times mixed up. I'm just glad he made it, and made it there safely. He has a lot going on right now since he got a new calling to be a Bishop of a student ward. Baine cried through the prayer. I had kept him up all morning and fed him right before we left so that he would fall asleep and be content during the blessing. Well it didn't work out. That's ok, it was still a good blessing and then he fell asleep right after.

Here are some "not so wonderful pictures" of the dinner after. I tried to get a picture of everyone who came. Let's just say I'm no photographer.
Molly and Aunt Nancy. Molly thinks she's a big girl already and loves to hold Baine. She is really into babies right now. Most kids when their parents are holding a baby they get jealous and want there Mommy or Daddy to give the baby up and hold them instead. Well not Molly, she is jealous and wants the baby.
Ronin and Bryn. This girl is going to be a great babysitter one day!
Jaxon
Nancy, Phil, Kara and Liza
Good ol' Matt.
Again I'm no photographer since Steph and Sonya's eyes are closed. Then there's Grandpa Del and Stacey
Grandma Joycelyn and Brady
Mom and Baine
Greg, Suzette, Jess, Lauren, Glade, Jordan, Lindsey and Grandpa (again)
Here is our 1st family picture (so sweet)

One day when I figure out how to make a picture collage my posts won't be so long.

Lately.......

We have been so busy. I was crazy for not thinking that having a baby wouldn't make me as busy as I am. I love it! Some days I don't get going until around noon. It now takes me 2 hours to get us both ready. By the time I feed, bath, and clothe him, then get me ready. Yup pretty much 2 hours. So I usually try not to plan to go anywhere until around 11 or 12.

This last weekend we went to Vegas for the millionth time this year! Brady had a job there. It was still fun. We left Baine home with Sonya, Steph and Matt. I guess he wasn't the best sleeper for Sonya. He woke up pretty much every hour and a half. He has only done that to me one night. He always sleeps 4 to 5 hours a night before waking up to nurse. He made up for it when he smiled for her. I missed his first smile that wasn't for gas. I was a little bummed when I heard but I know things like that will happen and there is nothing you can do about it unless I don't leave his side ever. Anyways I missed him like crazy and I don't know if I can do that again anytime soon.

I gave Baine his first haircut on his 4 week birthday last Monday. I didn't get a picture because you really couldn't tell what I did. I just cut a few stragglers around his ears and made his mullet less thick. It's still kind of a mullet but not as much hair is there. I did it right after his bath. He was a little fussy so I turned the blow dryer on and aimed it towards him, (he loves that) layed him belly down on my legs and started cutting. He just layed there the whole time.

Our house is being sheet rocked or just got done with the sheet rock. Either way it's coming right along. So crazy. I feel like I'm having a out of body experience with everything going on. I also feel way too young to have a baby and a new house. I'm not very responsible. My Mom and Dad would tell you that. Haha.

Also this past week was our 3rd year anniversary! It doesn't sound like very long but it feels like I've known Brady forever. He bought me some beautiful roses and we went to dinner at Maddox. It was a lot of fun. I love him and everything he does for me. He's one of the hardest workers I know and that is one of my favorite things about him. Even though I complain about him never being home, it's just because I'm a needy wife. Last week at one of his softball games a bunch of the men were gathered around complaining about their wives and that married life was overrated and if they had it to do all over again they wouldn't get married. It ticked me off. I hate when people say things like that. Some of these men I almost expected those comments out of but the others were such family men I was surprised and disappointed. They even asked Brady (in front of me) if he thought that it was hard. He said no that I was easy to be married to and it wasn't work for him. (good answer) Then the "family man" said to wait a few more years and have a few more kids. That might be true but I was still disappointed and a little shocked with a few of the men. I know that there's people that disappoint you, I half expect to be disappointed sometimes. I just don't want to be the one disappointing people. I will always try to keep my home a place that Brady will want to come home to. Some days it might not be very relaxing, but hopefully it's a happy home in the end.

Well here are a few new pictures.....

He loves this bouncer thing. It vibrates and puts him right to sleep.

It's funny how you can kind of throw them around and they will still sleep.
He LOVES his tub. He would soak in that for longer if I would let him. When ever I pull him out he cries. Yeah people might tell me it's because he is cold but I think it's because he didn't want to get out. :)

More pics of Baine

Just because he's so cute!
He loves his hands out when he sleeps. One night he was just fussing and wiggling and fussing some more. He finally wiggled a hand out and brought it up to his face and then fell right asleep. (my bad haha) Well now I know.
This is Kamry. She is my friend LeeAnn's little girl. She was born at 28 weeks and was in the NICU at Mckay Dee Hospital until July. Baine and Kamry were supposed to only be a few days apart. In this picture they are only 2 lbs difference. Kamry is a little fighter and it's a blessing she's here with us today. I love that little girl and her mama!

I had to post this one just because. Haha. He looks like one of my baby pictures right here. He looks a little constipated but I assure you, I have changed enough poopy diapers and gotten pooped on that his bowels are working great!

A work in progress

I haven't posted pictures of our house yet, so here are a few. We are supposed to be in by September 30th and by the way things are looking, I think there is a pretty good chance that we will!

I haven't gotten a picture of it as of today. There's half of the shingles on. The heating and plumbing is done, and the electrician just started today. So we are moving right along. Pretty exciting!
