Baby Bump
These were the final hours of being pregnant. I had started having contractions the night before and was pretty sure I was in labor. Brent was slated to leave for Wyoming that afternoon. I decided a visit to my doc was in order before I sent my husband away for the week. After a morning and late afternoon visit, my doctor determined that I was indeed on my way to having this baby.
Went home to take care of a few last minute items, and less than 24 hours later was holding my little baby Luke.

Here Comes Santa Clause
You'd think by the look of it that Ol' St. Nic had already arrived. These are the gifts from Grandmas & Grandpas, Aunts & Uncles, Mom & Dad, and siblings. It used to overwhelm me, all these gifts, and Santa hasn't even arrived. But now I realize my kids are so blessed to have so much family that love them and remember them at this time of year.

Christmas Traditions-Old and New
Christmas Eve we lit the last candle on our advent wreath, and talked of Christ's birth as recorded in Luke. We then headed out for our Christmas Eve dinner at Macaroni Grill. Afterward, we came back and opened presents from Mom & Dad, cousins, and siblings.
Here Natalie, let me help you!
Now, let's see what I got!
And then we set out the cookies, of course, for Santa, and called it a night.

Snow Much Fun!
We had a good snow fall last night, so we decided it was a good sledding day. I wasn't sure how Natalie was going to enjoy it, but she ended up loving it. As much as I tire of the snow and cold by the end of the winter, frolicking in the snow is still a novelty for this California native.
Just one more time Natalie!
